Exam F, Q 11

I think the answer should be C not D since you are supposed to minimize bandwidth utitlization between main office and branch office. Answer D (to create a WSUS server in replica mode configured to download updates from the main office) wouldn't meet that requirement.

allright, passed this bastard with @ 770 score few days ago. i think i was kinda unprepared for the exam in my case, reviewed half of the dump a week ago and another this week, tried to take part in comments up here a little =) and read info about q's which i didn't understand at all . in my opinion if u're more or less familiar with things, terms and options which is this exam all about and + reviewing this dump scroll down some debates about it + read some info by yourself u surely will pass anyway with no problem.
about q's itselfs. i had the one from GDI the "NewNick" guy allready told about : "1.) Clients will be upgraded to w7 but servers don't. They had sec. policies in adm file.." and another new question about "Designing WinServer2008R2 deployment strategy @ Minneapolis, 1st-2nd answer options were as @ in the dump (discover image and smth. else) and 3rd - 4th answer options were new (use unicast image deployment and use multicast image deployment.)

got 2-3 new questions from section with 20 q's. can remember clearly only one of them - the one about "designing a server infrastructure to support new inet facing and *somewhat bla bla* application"
(first words of question are redone), the req's are the same (2 servers,32 gb ram, 2 nic's and so on)
2 answer options differ. 1st - Perfom Server Core install. of Win2008R2 *Web* , and NLB array,
2nd - Perfom Server Core install. of Win2008R2 *Standard* , and NLB array. the other 2 are as B and C options @ as in the dump.

There are two different ways that you can deploy an application through the Active Directory. You can either publish the application or you can assign the application. You can only publish applications to users, but you can assign applications to either users or to computers.

i think that you can not publish and assign in the same time because of you assign the application will be installed automatically so you can not install again.

Publish the Aplication as a RemoteApp.
Assign the RemoteApp by using Group Policy.

I wonder, Can we publish and assign an application at the same time?

My res: 800+

The dump is valid, all scenarios and Qs were from this dump, but 2 new questions:
GDI case B
1.) Clients will be upgraded to w7 but servers don't. They had sec. policies in adm file. I can't recall the questions, but the main point how to use the sec. settings in the new wks?: create from scratch and build up admx or simply put the adm files to one of the DC-s (own site or another site) folder and use them.

2.) Install server OS on Austin site
- TRIM (or similar, I have never heard about it)
- RTSP
- Unicast
- Multicast

Finally: I don't know how to express my respect and gratitude to all of you who worked on this dump (especially Virtual-R and Dedulas).

ok guys I have one:

on Baldwin Museum of Science (V4.1 Exam G Q 12 or v3.9 Exam D Q 10 )

You need to recommend a solution for the research documents that meets the museum's technical requirements. What should you recommend?

the answer given is Deploy Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010, and then migrate Share1 to a new document library. Enable versioning for the library.

now the only technical requirement i can see in relation to research documents is "if a user overwrites anothers research document the user must be able to recover a previous version. in the Existing Environment it says Server1 hosts 2 file shares, one of which holds 50000 research documents.

Personally I'd go for answer B: On Server1, enable shadow copies. On all client computers, configure the Previous Versions client settings.

what am i missing here?

@Virtual-R

I know how you feel about the exam rush mate, i was the same after the 640 & 642, some lads i know were asking me to recall any new questions, i was like "the fcuk can i remember all i know id they were new and there were 7 of them" that was the 640 exam, the dump i gave you will get you a pass coz i got 940 or 960 in it but that was back in February and there were new questions back then so maybe keep an eye out for a better one just in case. best of luck with the rest of the studies. its a hard run but worth it, i started in November and i'm 2 of 3 done :) I'll bang you off an email in a bit and if you're on linked in or what not connect

I'd also like to second what Virtual-R has said about knowing the material. Its well known that you can simply use these dumps and pass and it'll look super on your resume/CV but when you sit in front of an interviewer you'll look as dump as a doorknob when you cant explain what FSMO roles are or the differences between DNS Stub Zones and forwarders. and even if you do manage to bluff your way through that one when you're on the job and the sh1t hits the fan well a brain dump wont get you out of the weeds your brain will. one poster earlier asked was it valid in India and when no one could answer they just went "ah fcuk it I'll sit a different one" proof positive that people are sitting these certs when not knowing their arse from a hole in the ground. behavior like that makes these certs less valuable and makes it harder for techies that genuinely know their stuff to get a well paid job /RANT :)

The first four questions were new, so I got a bit nervous, but I think I answered correct on them.
Guys, I will be honest with you, I was a nervous wreck, everything felt blurry after the test, I honestly don't remember much at all.

One of the new questions included new policy for another branch,
it had something to do with putting a adm file in the sysvol folder.

All the other questions were from thing dump, I think it was 6 testlets with 3-5 questions each,
and it was 21 normal questions. Three drag and drops, all from this dump! I'm proud that I passed,
but I know that people can pass this test just with my and Dedulas Dump.

Folks, don't just do that, read a book, learn, talk here and learn from eatch other.
See nuggets, study and lab, learn learn learn. Why? Because after the test, you will feel
much better, just as I do now. I have learned alot these months.

Have a nice day. Thank you all! Dedulas, If you want, you can contact me on knasrobb at hotmail dot com anytime you want.

@kosta the CPU shouldnt matter because you are migrating the queues after the printers are installed and teh drivers are put on th eserver at that point not when teh queue is created. A print queue is a representation of a print device (physical printer) in Microsoft Windows. Opening a print queue displays active print jobs and their status.

@Choicekamp sandor has it in his answer, also if you look back here or in the other threads for other dumps by Virtual-R we'll have covered this specific qustion and i'm pretty sure there's an explanation in the thread. check the explanation that i put in teh answer of teh question, they're not there for teh good of your health :):

by using Shared Configuration, you can share your IIS configuration across multiple servers. Please note that this article is focused on the back end configuration of the web servers and not the front end task of load balancing the servers.

Shared Configuration allows you to set up Internet Information Services (IIS) quickly and easily on multiple servers so that the sites, application pools and IIS server settings are consistent across two or more servers. You only have to configure a server one time and then you can replicate the IIS settings. Shared Configuration is not for individual sites on a server but for the entire IIS configuration on a server.

@dedulas, I must say you all do a hell of a job with this. However I think you made a mistake with Graphic Desig institute. As answer for the question to give a solution for the web server content, you gave IIS shared configuration in stead of DFS replication. The given information is this: the modifications must be copied automaticly to all web servers. Looks to me that is the eseaiest way with DFS. I hope this will help to an better answer.

Yes you are right. When you install print server you install device drivers and after that simply export import, but i am suspicious becouse the first server is x86 but i think you are right. I was little researching about this and i don't find any problem cause of operating system on the server.

when you set up a new print server it asks you to set up printers and install the device drivers during the nstallation process. the migration of teh queue would happen after teh new server is built would it not?

hello
in exam 9 the following question is not complete:
A company has a print server that runs windws server 2003 (86). The print server is configured with 2S0 print queues.
You are planing to migrate the pring server to a new server that runs windows server 2008 R2 Enterprice. The destination server has the print and document service role installed.
you need to ensure that printer queues migrate seccessfully.
So the answer is Export Import from printer migration wizard, but i think that first we must add 64 bit driver into destination server becouse now its installed on x86 server?
Thanks

@dwib

I'm working toward this cert myself now so my plan is to go through each question that has no explanation and fill in the blanks over the next 5-6 days. then use it as a study aid along side the VMs i have and the books. some of the material in this cert is covered in the 640 & 640 certs so I plan on being ready to sit in about 6-8 weeks based on the fact that i already have an understanding of some of it.

I'm working off the assumption that we are close to 90-95% correct with our answers in this one BUT if we can find ones that are wrong and explanations as to why they are wrong then I'll modify it.

basically as I get a bunch of questions with reasonable explanations I'll upload another version of this 4.0 file. I plan on being finished updating this by the beginning of June coz I'm doing this while my boss isn't looking :)

also if anyone comes up with new questions that have been added to the exam or if any of the existing one have been changed (i know theres one about AV installation thats slightly changed) then I'll also add those in a future rev and mark it as new to that edition.

this site only allows 5 comments a day and even my proxy is getting blocked now :( so I'll probably only upload a rev once a day

Guys

a base V4.0 is at http://www.mediafire.com/?21z6butuonc6psp
the only change between this and V3.9 is that Exam A has been split into more manageable Exams. so if you're asking questions make sure to include which Version of the EXAM you're talking about.

I'm having difficulty uploading to examcollection.com to create a new thread, could be my firewall or something so I'll try it later tonight if i can. so for now I'll keep just updating in this thread.

Re: P Q1

Probably the most relevant info is that we must run a script when running out of free space.
We can do this with FSRM, NTFS quota doesn't have this service.
DCS can also run a script when a DCS stops (stop conditions e.g.: duration log(?) file size but not at a given measured value like disk space) Am I right with this?

My choice is rather B than A.

To answer your prev. question: as far as I know NTFS quota is volume based.

B: I think, Adding a user to the GP Creator Owner Group in a different domain will not give the user the ability to create GPOs in the required domain.

C: I think, Delegation of Control Wizard grants the Link GPO permission but not Create GPO permission.

A is clearly not the right answer because it gives teh user too many rights

re exam P Q1

ok that kind of works, but you cant do it for all disks at once you'd have to do it for each individual disk.AND the big AND is you can only have one quota from what i can see.

if you modify the properties of the data collector set you can run a task. in that space you can place a file path to a .bat file or i assme a script. and because with a data collector set you cant set it to "logical disk %free Total" it will monitor all disk at once so less administration.

i think the original answer is teh correct one

Re Exam P Q1 quota looks possible alright. so is it A or B?? the question says DISK SPACE, so can the quota be applied to a whole disk or is it just a folder/volume? time to fire up the VMs

RE A Q22

Guys

Delegation of control allows the delegate to create GPOs. by setting it at the OU Level they can only create GPOs but only link to that OU. they can also link existing ones to that OU

http://allcomputers.us/windows_server/windows-server-2008-r2---gpo-administrative-tasks-%28part-7%29---gpo-administrative-delegation.aspx

answer A is insane becanse "User1 must be granted the least administrative rights necessary to achieve the goal" adding him to the admins group gives the user too much permissions.

Re G Q 5

guys this is a SINGLE DOMAIN Forest why would you use universal groups at all? if you check http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755692%28WS.10%29.aspx its says When to use groups with universal scope

Use groups with universal scope to consolidate groups that span domains. To do this, add the accounts to groups with global scope, and then nest these groups within groups that have universal scope. When you use this strategy, any membership changes in the groups that have global scope do not affect the groups with universal scope.

For example, in a network with two domains, Europe and UnitedStates, and a group that has global scope called GLAccounting in each domain, create a group with universal scope called UAccounting that has as its members the two GLAccounting groups, UnitedStatesGLAccounting and EuropeGLAccounting. The UAccounting group can then be used anywhere in the enterprise. Any changes in the membership of the individual GLAccounting groups will not cause replication of the UAccounting group.

Do not change the membership of a group with universal scope frequently, because any changes to these group memberships cause the entire membership of the group to be replicated to every global catalog in the forest. For more information about universal groups and replication, see Global catalogs and sites.

though Universal Group Cache would reduce login times as there is only one domain here it would not be of benefit. Folder redirection is in my opinion the best answer given this information.

I found something interesting: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc736881%28v=ws.10%29
As a MS recommendation: To reduce logon delay, use Folder Redirection to relocate large folders, such as My Documents, to shared folders on the network. Redirected folders are not copied as part of the Roaming User Profile during logon or logoff.

So it supports the answer B but it is a really good question where to redirect the folders to.
Although it may sound strange but I can imagine that the My Documents folders will be seated on the clients.

All in all, my vote goes to B.

G Q5

- Good point, but question clearly say "You need to recommend a solution to minimize the amount of time it takes for users in Boston office to LOG ON THEIR client computer".
If user logs on his computer, roaming user profiles will not slow down logon proces, it will slow down log off proces (synchronization with server). But if user logs on to other computers profile will be downloaded over VPN link, so log on will be slow.

- Boston office has no servers so where to redirect the folders? On client computer? No. Or on Server1? Redirecting on Server1 will reduce log on time on other computers, on user own computer there will be no changes. (At least I think so).

- Universal group membership caching - will reduce time taken to logon if branch office does not have DC.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc728188(v=ws.10).aspx says: "Universal Group Membership Caching: In a forest that has more than one domain, in sites that have domain users but no global catalog server, Universal Group Membership Caching can be used to enable caching of logon credentials so that the global catalog does not have to be contacted for subsequent user logons. This feature eliminates the need to retrieve universal group memberships across a WAN link from a global catalog server in a different site."

Exam R Q 2
VHD - according to the official MS courseware book 6433A - a VHD can not contain more than one partition. so if true that rules VHD Images out because you need bitlocker and bitlocker requires 2 partitions. so if this is true then answer C is wrong.

it specifically says they use WDS for deployment. WDS is all about using images so would that not rule out media install? if so Answer A is also wrong.

I'm leaning toward Answer B because
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd637996%28v=ws.10%29.aspx

specififically - "A client is on a different subnet and you do not have method of getting PXE to the client (for example, IP helper tables or Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP))."

Èxam R Q2 -

it specifically says they use WDS for deployment. so that would rule out media install for a start. I'm only starting working on thsi stuff so I'm not much help on this question :(

Exam B Q8 I'd be inclined to say the answer is A

the reports app is installed on the Remote Desktop Servers, so that rules out C & D. so now the question becomes is it is it WSRM or FSRM.

WSRM = http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755056.aspx
ou can use Windows System Resource Manager to allocate processor and memory resources to applications, users, Remote Desktop Services sessions, and Internet Information Services (IIS) application pools

FSRM=http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755603%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
File Server Resource Manager is a suite of tools that allows administrators to understand, control, and manage the quantity and type of data stored on their servers. By using File Server Resource Manager, administrators can place quotas on folders and volumes, actively screen files, and generate comprehensive storage reports. This set of advanced instruments not only helps the administrator to efficiently monitor existing storage resources but it also aids in the planning and implementation of future policy changes.

storage/quotas/file types is not the issue here, the issue is the server is over loaded. it says under the Existing infrastruction section that managers complain that the reports tale a long time when users are connected. thats an over loaded server not disk quotas or file types.

so I'm gonna say A is the answer ot this one

Re: Exam R Q2
Quote from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd637996%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
"A discover image is a type of boot image that you can use to install an operating system on a computer that is not capable of network booting using the Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE)."

But the situation is that in Minneapolis we have to deploy servers with Bitlocker, so the main point is how to deploy servers with an extra partition (for Bitlocker). Although we could install from media (A) but more advanced solution is WIM image (D). What is strange that the extra partition is created in the answer file, not in the WIM.. This made me confused :-(
Any comment is welcome.

@Virtual-R
Re Exam R Q 8 - You are testing a file replication strategy on BODATA01. if you look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc771488.aspx its says
You can use DFS Replication to keep the contents of folder targets in sync so that users see the same files regardless of which folder target the client computer is referred to. if you look to the Note on the bottom of the page its says:
To poll immediately for configuration changes, open a command prompt window and then type the following command once for each member of the replication group: dfsrdiag.exe PollAD /Member:DOMAINServer1.
so the question is do you poll the server holding the files or the DC in the location where the primary member is located? I'm pretty sure DFS-Replication uses AD DS replication so to me anyway I'd poll the DC.

Exam R Q4 looks ok to me too. By creating a WMI filter the GPO will only be applied to those servers that match the filter, in this case the filter is Server R2. so you create a GPO and add a filter then as the original servers are in the Fileserver OU if you link the GPO to that OU it still only gets applied to those that met the criteria of the filter i.e. those that are R" servers.

@kent
teh exam is broken into 3 question types. 1. scenario based. 2. point and click or select and order (those near the end of this dump) 3. random questions. the 99 at the start fit into that group.
it is possible to break it down into a smaller group i guess Virtual formatted it this way to basically group them together into teh 3 catagories.

@ Virtual-R
Re F11 Vs E5
there's not much difference between the requirements of both scenarios however E5 says the branch sites have a dedicated high speed link.
F11 it says that all branch PCs on teh network connect to the internet by using a single internet connection at the main office.
to me that implies that all traffic to the branch travels thorugh the main office so if the branch updated from MS it has to come through the main office so you'd be downloading the same patches twice, that is wasting bandwidth and one requirement is to minimize bandwidth usage

Exam R Q8 makes NO SENSE AT ALL FOR ME, and I think you are right about this. What do you guys think? If you wonder, I got some more time to work with this VCE, but not much ;)

@ Sandor dont worry about the mistakes mate I've been making them for months on these exams but then thats how we all learn :)

I've found that with these questions you need to read the question and see whats asked then read the question again and see whats not mentioned. because you can make assumptions based upon how you would configure it in the real world and not how MS would do it.

often there are two almost identical answers but the question will be missing one word that will make one answer more correct, this one being a good example, it makes no mention of RODC so even though it would be ideal to install RODCs for additonal security and reducing your administration tasks etc becuase the question doesnt mention them then you cant assume they are isnsalled, you must assume they are full installs.

@ Virtual-R I've nothing more to add to this dump as i'm only starting to prepare for this exam myself now (8 weeks or so away) thanks for all your help dude its been huge, I know the amount of effort needed especially when trying to prep yourself for an exam. best of luck on the day

re F 11

ok I've basically got a number of server VMs set up and one is an existing WSUS server. I installes WSUS on a second on in that domain and the configuration wizard started straight away.

now the question says you NEED to deploy WSUS in the branch thus implying its a new installation.

first step on the wizard is an option to join the MS imporvement program

second is pick the upstream server options. you have 2 choices sync with MS or sync with other WSUS server, then theres a check box for Replica and one for SSL

my server is going haywire on me so i cant upload screen shots right now but if you select MS then the option to make it a replica is not availible.

if you select UPSTREAM then REPLICA is availible and the option to switch back to MS is still availible

as soon as you select REPLICA the option form MS is disabled

so I'm going to have to say staw with D as the answer Replica and Main office, at teh end of the day a Replica is a copy of something else :)

@Dedulas: Exam I Q5

You have a point, it is not stated that the DC-s are RODC, so probably they are full installations. Consequently, I was wrong, B or C should be right. As I could check Server admin have all the required permission EXCEPT installing device driver, so we need a Domain Admin. The original answer (B) was correct /if I am not wrong again :-) /

Guys, I do apologize for my mistake.

@Virtual-R. I'm not too sure to be honest. all the question says is " You need to recommend a backup and recovery plan that restores the domain controllers in the event of a catastrophic server failure."

it makes no mention of historic copies of the backup etc. so in that instance then yes on backup that is overwritten each time it is scheduled to run would meet the requirements as set down in the question.

personally i'd leave it as answer D

would you do that in the real world? only if you enjoyed living on unemployment payments from the state :)

i look at discussion forum all the time and people recommend windows backup and it makes me cry especially when they recommend it over third party apps. its free, its easy to use but its next to useless in my opinion and i wouldnt bank my paycheck or recovery plan on it, id rather deploy a third party application at a huge cost, but thats a discussion for another place

@ Sandor re I 5
My bad didn't see the part about the plan to deploy a DC in each office. BUT does its specify RODCs? I can't see that any place and as its not mentioned I wouldn't presume that they would be RODCs

As each branch has 200 users these are not small out of the way offices in the middle of no where so changes to AD would in my opinion be made locally at the branch and then replicated back to all DCs in the domain. If you look at the company formation there are 400 users in the 2 branch offices, if you deploy 2 RODCs then 400 password changes will have to be done in the main office then replicated out to the branch DCs, same with permissions etc. Secondly as the users in the branch offices access a file server in the main office it's in my opinion reliable link so i personally wouldn't be using RODCs in this set up. because theres no security requirement and the link is good

On the link you provided it says A domain administrator creates an account in the domain for the computer that is going to be promoted as an RODC. So that implies ARS is a RODC only feature. so i'd stick with B or C depending on the permissions that the Server operators group gets on each DC.

Re A 73 I know, I'm confused too. I learned that you couldn't backup to remote shares but I tried it this morning and it gives me the option to do it, the only problem is that you are only allowed 1 scheduled backup, so it basically over writes the previous backups when you create it. think thats mentioned in one of the pictures.

Re F 11 yeah i came across that link too. I'll see if i can build this in my VM environment. For now i'm sticking with D coz as ANT said it greys out an option when you say replica. I'll come back on that in an hour or so.

"Synchronize from another Wsus server". so i guess nothing to chose from here

A wouldn't solve the problem, yes as a best practice you would have role separation regardless of the user being in HQ or branch, but what rights do you need to give that elevated role to meet the requirements? the user would need B or C no? but do they need full access to Domain rights? as there are no DCs in the branch offices I would say no as all the AD admin work is done in the HQ. so I'd consider C as the answer but can server operators group add drivers and updates?

F11
in autonomous mode it needs to be administered from the remote offices so that definitely rules out A&B.

from a pure networking perspective i wouldn't think it would matter bandwidth wise where the source of the update comes from, the updates are going to be the same size and use the same bandwidth regardless of source.

so in replica mode means it inherits its approvals, groups, and updates from a central server. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939820%28v=ws.10%29#multiple

so the question needs to be asked, is option C an actual valid configuration option? can you configure a replica to download from MS directly?
if you look at:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708511%28v=ws.10%29.aspx

it says
You will be able to perform only LIMITED ADMINISTRATION capabilities on a WSUS replica server, which will primarily consist of:

Adding and removing computers from computer groups
A replica server inherits the computer groups that were created on the administration server. You must assign the replica server's client computers to the computer groups.
Viewing available updates
Monitoring update, synchronization, and computer status, and monitoring WSUS settings on the server

There's no mention of changing source though.

A45

TS CAPs - Terminal Services connection authorization policies (TS CAPs) allow you to specify user groups, and optionally client computer groups, that can access a TS Gateway server. You must also create a Terminal Services resource authorization policy (TS RAP). A TS RAP allows you to specify the internal network resources that users can connect to through TS Gateway. Until you create both a TS CAP and a TS RAP, users cannot connect to internal network resources through this TS Gateway server.

TS RAPs - TS RAPs allow you to specify the internal corporate network resources that remote users can connect to through a TS Gateway server. When you create a TS RAP, you can create a computer group (a list of computers on the internal network to which you want the remote users to connect) and associate it with the TS RAP.

So based on that I'd say we need a RAP because the RAP specifies the resources that can be connected to and the first requirement is Restricts access to specific Remote Desktop Services servers. because When creating a RAP you specify the groups of computers and users that you wish to allow access to this resource.

@ sandor : truly agree with your answers about Exam A Q45 Exam A Q73 Exam E Q2 . Exam F Q11 i think D is correct not C, cause by the tech. req's "all updates approved , rejected etc . by the administrators in main office", so replica anyway and @ wsus console itself if you check "replica of the upstream server" option, the one "Download from Microsoft updates" becomes just greyed out and unavailable , as i remember. didn't go through all the dump so can't hit my help about all the questions yet :(

Dear All,

I am not a clever MCITP SA /yet ;-)/ but I tried to do my best when looking through this dump.
Please find bellow my choices.
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Exam A Q45
My vote goes to C (not D) since we have to restrict access to RD servers, so we need RAP (CAP would be used to limit USER access)

Exam A Q73
Scheduled backups cannot write to a network share, so in my opinion B is the correct answer instead of D

Exam E Q2
We have 10 file servers (w2k3 + w2k8). I think the correct answer is A, because Share and Store Management requires w2k8, it cannot be a single management console.

Exam F Q11
Since the WAN link is highly saturated, answer C seems better than D.

Exam I Q5
As I see there is no reason for giving Domain Admin right, answer A looks better.

Exam R Q2
Why is FSRM necessary? We have NTFS quotas in the requirements, it can be done without FSRM. I prefer answers: BD

Exam R Q4
EF is OK, but not enough. We need C as well because : "do not impact CHDATA01, CHDATA02"

Exam R Q8
TADATA01 is the primary we need to sync from this one not from the TADC01. Answer C is my choice.

Sandor

@ putinka re B Q7 in the version of the dump i'm using (3.7) the answer selected is B FSRM and the explanation is about FSRM.

I'd be inclined to say D WSRM is actually the right answer.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754150
You can use Windows System Resource Manager to allocate processor and memory resources to applications, users, Remote Desktop Services sessions, and Internet Information Services (IIS) application pools

so based upon the information given in the exhibits: the reports are CPU INTENSIVE & when there are a lot of users connected the report take longer to process.you need to reduce the time it takes for reports to be generated a bottle neck on the CPU would increase the time it takes to generate reports so the required solution would need to allocate additional CPU resources to the sales managers or else limit the CPU resources used by the regular users.

if we look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753280
Windows System Resource Manager manages processor resources by adjusting the priority of processes. This guarantees a minimum percentage of available CPU bandwidth to process groups that are defined by process matching criteria. Resource management is not enforced unless the total CPU usage is greater than 70 percent..The simplest method of allocating processor resources is to assign a percent CPU target to each group of processes that are defined by a process matching criterion. This target is the percent of available CPU bandwidth that is guaranteed as a minimum to the process group.

so with that in mind I'd me inclined to say the answer is WSRM. because FSRM in a nutshell has nothing what so ever to do with CPU resources its only about disk management, applying disk quotas, blocking certain file types etc.

Dear All,

First of all thanks and respect to all contributors!

@ant: Exam H Q6
In my opinion you are right. The DFS cannot be correct, because AD is a prerequisite for DFS, the webservers belong to a workgroup.

@Virtual-R /our savior ;-) /
Exam G Q10: the answer seems to be correct. Shortly: CAP=who can connect RAP=what resources are available..
So we need 1 CAP (multiple groups may be selected) and 2 RAPs for the domain admins (to all computers) and the server admins (to dfs and file servers)

@putinka Exam B Q7
The report generation is CPU intensive -> we need a solution to provide more resource. WSRM seems to be the correct answer.

I found some more possibly bad answers. I started to check them and I will let you know here.

Hi guys, first of all i appreciate very much for all this great job and getting such involved in building up this dump, thx a lot. as for me while reviewing v3.7 of the dump, one of the questions in section H (GDI) is rather strange. the one about "solution for the Web server content that meets company's technical req's" - the answer there states that it's "DFS replication(?!)" .just don't get it :[
there's another questions in this sect. about configuring Web servers and the answer there seems totally ok (IIS Shared config.) but those "DFS replication" feels rather weird especially because nothing is said in description of scenario neither about whatever file server - fsrm role installed nor about dfs namespaces present. feel to say if i'm telling shit or this was discussed in early comments (too many of them allready to remember all ;)

But It´s very simple. 73-646 is when you enroll in an academy examination (they are called discount voucher) if you join in your Prometric freely, without any voucher only lets you sign up to 70-646. In principle this is done so that the academies have a markup and discounts may apply if you want. The voucher is a user code that no center will help you because the difference is 50% in the price.
