@Mark. I'm not sure where you are pulling your information from. You have not made any links available to back up your opinion. I noted that you said, "In my opinion". The link you did provide (shows a pic) which appears to be a check for the configuration manager server site server (links below) and is not for Build and Capture. Have you done any of these tests in your lab or... is this mere speculation?

For Q14, which server are you doing the restore database on? Server 1 or Server 2. You should be on server 2 which is the SQL Server. This question is for server 2. Why would we perform any restore on server 1? We don't even have to change the SQL server information on server 1 if we cloned the information that was originally on the server 2 before it failed. Server 1 would't even know that server 2 went down, if all settings are the same as before on server 2.
Q14: You need to RESTORE the Confiuration Manager database to the new SQL server (Server2). (Keyword: RESTORE and SQL (not SCCM)). SQL has already been installed. Yes, I know SCCM allows you to change the server but, It's not important that it allows you to change to the next SQL Server. In this question, Server 2 has been setup with 2008 R2 and assumes all settings, IP's, etc.. are the same as before and that the SCCM server 1 is pointing to server 2. We are restoring SERVER 2 (SQL). "Restore the backed up SQL" is an option and will work but, (my opinion and practice AND research, "Attach the backed up SQL" works fine and is faster. You might be thinking of option D, "D: From Server 1 (SCCM), run the Site Repair Wizard". That will not help in restoring the DB on SQL (server 2). That helps restore on the SCCM server, server 1. Again, why are we restoring server 1 or even touching server 1 when the problem is on server 2?

Q53: Build and Capture task sequence. Which application(s) MUST exist in Configuration Manager before you can create the build and capture sequence. Keyword(s) here is "MUST EXIST" in order to create a build and capture. those are CM client and Sysprep. MDT and USMT are not needed. I think you are getting your questions/answers crossed.

Conclusion: Q14, thats a tricky question because B and C do the same thing (ultimately). Restore just takes longer. This is more of "What does Microsoft do in this case" and not "what is faster". Q53, you will not change my answer on that. Go ahead and try a "mix and match method". Without the CM client and sysprep (these are built in to the software wizard automatically) you cannot do a build and capture. With MDT, USMT, CM client, and Sysprep can be done but, again those two (MDT/USMT) are not needed.
I ask that you look at my links and understand that I will not comment on something I don't know, research, and do in my lab. I understand your "opinion" but, you need to show proof in order to back up your "opinion" otherwise, it's just an "opinion" and not a fact. That picture you provided is not proof. The users/IT professionals on this blog are trying to pass a test and could use helpfull (not conflicting arguments) information that is backed by facts via research, test labs, etc... whatever shows actual proof and gives the correct answer(s) without argument. In my opinion, both of your last answers are wrong.

SCCM provides an opportunity to recover a site when running setup. There you can chose the new SQL Server on which you want to store the backup of your DB. Otherwise, how should SCCM know that you have changed the DB Server?

Regarding your answer to the Build and Capture Sequence, this picture should make everything clear. One is not even able to install SCCM without installing its prerequisites ("Failed" means absolutly necessary).

USMT tool is not needed for imaging.

@Jism. You were half right on the answer. As for the answer, when you create the image in your test lap, you will see that the CM client and Sysprep tools are the only two required.

In this case, the Server2 has already failed and hence, offline so, attach (in my opinion and from actual practice)is the best answer to this question.

The answer should be B, the only way to restore is to attach the database from last backup using the console. But in all dumps the answer is A why? The question state is that only the database server need to be restored not the configuration manager site ? Could someone confirm my opinion.

Still valid in the US. Passed in the low 7XX. I've never used the SCCM before but have used similar products so the foundation is there. To Supplement the material I installed the SCCM and used the product for two weeks. Hardest parts are the remembering the log files.

Czesio You have right. B is correct answer because this is standard procedure to database recovery for ms sql. I found another incorrect answer in question 41. The correct answer is Filesystemfile.log, Mp_sinv.log, Hman.log (A,C,E) – because the problem is with the software inventory data not hardware - all explanations are on below address (please read logs explanations)

Q53) tried in lab, must be B. Could create capture and build task sequence without the integration of MDT. sysprep needed only for WinXP Clients, USMT only if you want to do migration. I think the answer is Confiuration Manager Client. It's in the first steps in task sequence where you need to confirm this. Package is autogenerated, but it needs to be present in SCCM for the corresponding architecture and language, in this step you could create custom client installation properties.

, so be very careful take the time to ready and understand the questions then answer.

- For sure some of the answers in this dump are wrong especially these sections:

- the question concerning the 3 choices of user is slightly different because the new one has these options :

2) IMHO Q59 should be A,B,C,E - Turning on Forest Discovery is required in order to add the UNTRUSTED litware forest in

I believe the Q53 from ExamA should include "B" as to my knwoledge you can't complete build and capture task without the "Instal configuration manager client" step. In fact you can't even skip this step in the wizard.

1 question about 3 different user types (user1 needs this, user 2 needs that, user 3 needs something else). there were application manager, application administrator and asset manager if i remember correctly.
