Dump is valid. I believe 1 question was new as I had this dumb down cold,but could be wrong. HSRP hotspot. AAA dot1x lab, EIGRP+MLS, LACP+STP labs. LACP lab is pretty much the same as websites have, however there is a little bit of added configuration not mentioned.

DSW2 has not become the active device for Vlan103′s HSRP group even though all interfaces are active. As related to Vlan103′s HSRP group. What can be done to make the group function properly?

A. On DSW1, disable preempt
B. On DSW1, decrease the priority value to a value less than 190 and greater than 150
C. //some other i dont remember
D. On DSW2, increase the decrement value in the track command to a value greater than 10 and less than 50.

Passed with 868 marks..........95% from this dump.
Sims were AAAdot1x, MLS with EIGRP and LACP with STP
The LACP with STP sim was somewhat different from the configs from certprepare. As soon as the port-channel was up Switch A responed with "Native VLAN mismatch (99)"....tried to fix it but still couldn't get through.

Also the HSRP testlets were different. Only 2 questions from dump. The rest were changed.

Passed today :) This is still valid dump. Labs are same , but there is a bug in Lacp lab. After configuring lacp lab i shut down the ports (fa0/3-4) on Switch A surprising part was i was still able to ping the router from switch B.

Hi Switch Student,

There were 6 questions in HSRP Hotspot.
These are the answers that I chose:

1. Enable Preempt on DS1's Vlan 101 HSRP group.
2. On DS1, increase the decrement value in the track command to a value greater than 6.
3. The DS1's decrement vlaue should be configured with a value from 11 to 18.
4. 100 -> Current priority value on Vlan 105's group
5. On DS1, decrease the priority value to a value less than 190 and greater than 150.
6. 95 -> current value of Vlan 105 group when g1/0/1 is shutdown.

But I scored 989/100, and the only section I points is Implement High Availability, given a network design and set of requirements (I got 92% there, rest of the sections - I got 100%).

From exam - Do you remember the correct values (Pr. vlan: Pri / Track Decr range- values) for the (4 or 6 ?) HSRP HotSpot sub- questions on real exam?

Rumors says, the correct values differ a little bit on exam from the answer values within this dump!?

How manny Sub- questions does the HSRP Hotspot Question include on real exam???

I'm having real trouble in figuring it out QUICKLY! - Indeed when the correct answer includes a "Value Range" (either Priority- or track decr- range) for the actual HSRP groups on DSW1 or DSW2!

So, If you eg. could answer this on a "pr VLAN / HSRP Group basis"

Like eg:

Q1. DSW1 vlan 102 / HSRP Group 102 should be configured with a track decr. value from 11 to 18

Q3 DSW2 vlan 103 / HSRP Group 103 should be configured with a priority value greater than 241 and less than 249

etc.

Yop, I've the same concerns about the order as regards answers for DnD's on exam!
Don't know how different orders of correctly selected DnD' answers will be graded on exam???
Within THIS dump the order of DnD answers apears to be very important in order to answer them correctly (allthough it doesn't matter IRL)

Could some of you recent Exam Takers please help with the excact answer values (Priority / Track Decrement) on the 5 (or 6?) HSRP TestLet (HotSpot?) Questions???
I've heard that the values on exam differs slightly from those shown in the CertPrepare HSRP TestLet (Hotspot?) question
Pt. I'm having real trouble with quickly figuring out the the right values under HIGH time pressure! - I simpy get both nervous and confused when trying to manage it, making things even worse :-(
Oushh, I just hate that HSRP question! :-)

So PLEASE somebody help me on this! (eg. "needhelp" if you perhaps remember something from the HSRP TestLet question on your exam?)

Manny thank's for offering me the possibility, but I think needhelp answers the "Allow Native" issue in a good way, due to his recent exam experience and amazing hi score on his exam yesterday! :-)

Thank's for your info with the "Allow Native" Problem - It makes things more clear to me, although I've heard "wise people" say that it's best to also allow the native vlan on a given trunk between to Cisco Switches - But as often before the "Cisco answers" on exam are not always the very best in IRL situations - right!?
Also a lot of CONGRATULATIONS with your exam yesterday, and the extreemly fine result you got on it! - How could you make it SO good??? - Simply FANTASTIC what you did on exam, I must say! :-)

@Subghat - I cannot remember exactly what the question was and how i answered it. it's drag and drop. something with network mgnt, voice, call log, video stream, video conferencing etc. u have to put it in order under Cisco column with respect to priority i think but don't worry it's only one i've seen so far that is not in this dump..yeah the order of answers are different in the exam....

do we need to add 99 on "Switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,21-23,99" or just "Switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,21-23" on fast0/3-4 ???

also on the exam, do we need to configure default gateway? if so, is that the IP address of the router??? PLease advise...Thanks

When an HSRP group number is not specified, the default group number is group 0, so the answer is B. HSRP standby mac add is: 0000.0c07.ac**, where ** is the group number. In this scenario is HSRP group "0" so it will be: 0000 0c07 ac00.
