@Ani. After you pass your ICND1, you can take the ICND2 within 3 years to get CCNA certified.

After writing ICND1 100-101, can I write ICND2 200-101 after 3 months? Is there any possibility to write these exams with 3month time gap or more?

I am more than willing to share the videos but, how would you suggest I do so as the first set (ICND 1) are 5 GB in size and the second set (ICND 2) are 3 GB in size.

If you passed the old CCEnt (640-822) then the new exam should not be a problem.

I'm looking to do the 100-101 ICND 1 in about a months' time and would appreciate it if you could let me know what you have been using as study and preparation material. I have been using CBT Nuggets but, I'm not sure if that is enough to fully prepare me for the exam?

@Dabes Unless you already know how to Subnet, know the commands, and the basics of the material enough to complete both the 640-822 and 640-816 test before 30 Sept, you are better off focusing on the newer tests 100-101 / 200-101. The older 640 series are no longer testable after 30 Sept. Go to the Cisco web site and do some research. VCE dumps should be used to verify your knowledge, not to learn it..

For the OSPF Sim Lab, it was only for the show commands for all six routers, you have to log in to all Six routers and give them different commands, to check the configuration, check the interfaces, which interface, is configured on which IP address, and the interface is up or down, Please check the link I placed for 9tut.com for both OSPF1 and OSPF2 and read the concept. use these commands,
show ip route
show ip interface brief
show controller interface fa0/0,
show controller interface fa0/1,
show controller interface serial 0/0,
show cdp neighbor
show ip ospf and off-course show running-config

@Netking, what exactly are sims about? Do we have to configure something or just use Show command to the answers? And if just show command what are the questions asked? That is if you remember anyone of them or all :)

Some of the questions on this dump are suspect. In a way I like that for it makes me go back and validate my thinking for the correct answers.

I think the correct answer to the question 1 is , 2) router# show ip interface
3) router# show protocol

question1 of the dump: I think the answer is not correct.
Which 2 commands will display the current IP address and bais layer 2 and layer 3 status of an interface.

1) router# show version
2) router# show ip interface
3) router# show protocol
4) router# show controllers
5) router# show running-config


According to the dump its showing option 3 and 4 is correct, but I think option 4 (show controller) is not correct. Could some one please share there opinion on this.

@Dave, Thanks, I played it safe and type out the commands out in full. I was able to use Show Running-config on all the sims. Commands that I remenber that I used were sh ip int br, sh ip ospf interface s0/1 ,sh ip ospf neighbours, sh ip protocol, sh ip route, sh run and sh controllers s0/0.

Of course you can use tab and shortcuts and question marks. The labs run exactly like a real IOS. No different from your home labs. You still need to know what you're doing to save time

Firstly congratulations on the pass, I have 100-101 next week, could you use the tab key and short command. and for the labs are you able to use show running-config command or is this blocked. good luck with ICND2.

Passed today with 9xx. Like Khalid, about 85% from here. Had 4 labs. One OSPF, same as hamad from UAE . Subnetting was easy and couple of new OSPF questions.

Passed today with 9xx. I had the same sims in this dump, and for about 85% the same questions. Also 2 questions about OSPF, and 1 new OSPF sim with 4 questions (in the SIM). Know youre subnetting and read about the concepts of OSPF and you should do just fine with this dump.

PASSED YESTERDAY, 947/1000. This dump is VALID FOR around 60-70%. Learn a lot of troubleshooting. I had 4 simulations: only1 from this dump, 1 OSPF, 1 PPP/CDP, and the last i dont even remember, but they were not from this dump or from 9tut.com ! so if you didnt learn, dont go on the exam.

Look at question 3 above. it shows the examples are backwards

hamad for the ospf question you listed and all the answers you stated that answered that question from my understanding show ip protocols should show all of thoughs answers and is a much easier way to figure it out. that youtube video was pretty bad a 3 hour video explaining single area ospf a few simple commands to monitor it and what dr and bdr is for was over complicated in that video i recommend cbt nuggets over watching that 3 hour sesssion. in 3 hours you will lear a lot more. that was a bad video. also you would have known show ip protocols is all you need to do.

i mean question 8's destination mac address is 00b0.d056.cb56 i accidentally typed in its source address.

the question 27 should be corrected i agree and also there are two switching questions that have there answers backwards question 8 which says the packet destination is 00b0.d0da.fe4d and this is in the mac address table yet the answer is d flood it out all its ports except the one it was recieved in which is worng is should go out fa0/6. and then question 10 also has its answers wrong and switch obviously with q8 it says destination address 00b0.d0da.895a is in the mac address table which you can clearly see is not yet it claims that has to be forwarded out of fa0/6 which has the mac address 00b0.d0da.cb56 which is the same exact mac address in q8 so obviously these two questions got there answers switched that needs to be fixed.

Still valid. Just passed this morning. I had 3 ospf questions that were not in the dump and the ospf simulation. Everything else is in the dump.

The questions in this dump are 100% valid ! Only the lab with the 6 OSPF routers is new in the batch of questions. The OSPF lab can be solved with the: sh ip ospf neighb; sh ip ospf interface commands, when you know what to compare with each other (Area ID, hello packet parameters).

guys, i've studied very well and i think i really know my stuff, but this OSPF lab you're talking about is making me confused!
a guy said that the problems will be with the area number (that's fine), the RID (also fine) and the hello interva (not fine at all!), i've read icnd1 twice and i've never seen any command that deals with the hello intervals!
can anyone tell me how i can deal with this?

and there is a new lab with 6 Routers but you need to be happy because I remember the question

they will ask you that there is a Adjacencies problem so:

one of the questions there is a hello message mismatching
other question has the the ID mismatching
and the other 2 questions from the ospf are in witch interface has a mismatch in area ospf

the commands you need to use to see the information is:

I think you are right because the questions are tricky because they said basic layer 1 means FastEthernet0/0 is up and the layer 2 is line protocol is up

passed with a score of 986. you only need a 804 (not 850) to pass. I had 3 Drag and Drop questions, 3 sims ( the 1 new OSPF with four questions) and 1 new OSPF. All questions 105q VCE.

yes, the OSPF sim is 6 routers with 4 questions in it like other 2 sims which are same as in these dumps. lab sim what is "what is bandwidth on WAN interface of router1, Use the "show interface s0/0" to see the bandwidth set at 16 Kbit/sec. dump shows 16 kbit/sec but mine was set to 512kb so i selected 512.

100% valid dump! Passed today 97x! OSPF lab with 6 routers not in this dump. Lots of OSPF Area and router ID questions. No drag and drops. All other questions and lab word to word from here. There were few answers in different order but answer was there. For OSPF we can study 9tut under ICND1/ICND2 link, click at ICND2 link and there are 2 links to study for OSPF & OSPF2.

This is entry level exam by Cisco and N+ as we know its from Comptia. Please read comments by users under other 4 dumps as well. I am sure as everyone else is able to pass this exam we will pass too :)

Thank you Ali if I study this dump and 9 tut should I be able to pass the ICND1? Cisco says its entry level I got a 1000 on net+ and felt it was to easy but these seem more advanced then entry-level
