This is still very valid, i only had one question that was not from this dump which "what are the benefits of single layer ospf". The drag an drop were from this dump.

The testlet were
1) Use show commands to determine answers.
2) OSPF troubleshooting (VERY IMPORTANT)

Bottom line: You need to know OSPF otherwise you will struggle, plus although the questions are the same the IP addresses and position of devices may vary - so you will also need to have a good understand of classless subnetting. I also had no questions regarding IPv6 or OSPFv3 which was strange.

P.S Unlike previous exam there is no ability to go back to a previously answered question - SO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK BEFORE MOVING TO THE NEXT QUESTION.

Does the calculator have the programmer mode? I can subnet super fast with the binary function. But if it doesn't have the programmer mode there is no binary and no ANDing. (That is the secret to subnetting super fast).

The question under operation of ip data networks need to be corrected, why should it flood the frame out all ports except for fa0/3 because all the mac addresses are present in the mac address table. Please correct me if Im wrong.

There are 2 questions (Q24 & Q25) on this dump that are very similar, but the answers are backwards. They are mac-address table questions. The bottom line is that if the destination mac is included in the table, the switch only forwards the data packet to that port. If it is not in the table, then the switch forwards the packet down all ports but the source port.

1) Between R1 and R2 connected over Ethernet. Why aren't they forming OSPF adjacency? Answer: One of the interfaces is shutdown.
2) Between R3 and R4 connected over Serial. Why aren't they forming OSPF adjacency? Answer: One router has PPP Encapsulation and the other is using HDLC.
3) Between R3 and R5 connected over Serial. Why aren't they forming OSPF adjacency? Answer: On R5 OSFP is not configured to route between them.
4) Between R3 and R6 connected over Serial. Why aren't they forming OSPF adjacency? Answer: The Hello interval are mismatched. Used the same question here on the exam they are different but the all of them are asking the same.

For OSPF Lab question you need to check area,hello time,authentication type.just troubleshooting .

I took my exam today and passed with a 933. These dumps are very valid. I tanked on a simlet becuase I clicked next before answering all 4 questions. And I also thought I tanked on the ospf lab but somehow I still passed with a decent mark.
Anyways, Study all the questions here and you will be fine. Make sure you read up on ospf because there are a couple questions on there. The simlet on ospf was kinda tough as well. Just know all of your show commands and you should be fine. Sh ip ospf database, show interfaces, sh ip int brief. One of the mac address questions on here is incorrect so make sure you get that right.

My question is, why haven't all of you taken the ICND1 640-822? Is this exam easier or do you want to study the new material or don't have enough time before the deadline?

@ jim you can use the ? in the sims, you can also use the short commands ie. show ip int bri instead of typing the full command

Only 1x OSPF question and 1x OSPF sim with 6 routers not in this VCE.

Study this VCE and have knowledge about OSPF on how to troubleshoot. Show Running-Config is disabled for that SIM.

the 3rd Sim (OSPF ) is not included in the Dumb
or even present on 9tut.

Thanks very much bro.It's now crystal clear how the ARP works to send packets to an unknown destination for the first time, so we assume that by default, the FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF is being used when searching for or trying to determine the destination MAC address or IP Address of the destination host. We assume that the router table is yet to be populated with any IP or MAC Address of the intended destination.

Matterhorn wants to send a packet to Washington. Through other means, it determines that Washington's IP address is 192.168.0.55. Have anyone observed question number 22 of exam A? The answer I supposed should be option D, am wondering why answer choice E was chosen by the uploader of the practice test. As we all can see, both the source host and router and also the destination host and router bother have MAC Address.

So what should I say is wrong the answer choice E and why is it not answer choice D that should be the right answer.

Passed today with a 960.Used this VCE and CBTnuggets.

as long as we pick the right answer cisco dont care but lab sim what is "what is bandwidth on WAN interface of router1, Use the "show interface s0/0" to see the bandwidth set at 16 Kbit/sec. dump shows 16 kbit/sec but mine was set to 512kb so i selected 512. we all can get different answer for this question maybe cisco wants us to use show interface to give the points or by picking right answer. as i mentioned i got 97x scores so telling what i did. All comments from the guys passed exam are very great and helpful. I was able to pass this exam in 30 mins with help of these dumps and comments by great people who are willing to help others. Great people here and great site. Good luck all. I got 2 sims which are in this dump and one OSPF with 6 routers.

100% valid dump! Passed today 97x! OSPF lab with 6 routers not in this dump. Lots of OSPF Area and router ID questions. No drag and drops. All other questions and lab word to word from here. There were few answers in different order but answer was there. For OSPF we can study 9tut under ICND1/ICND2 link, click at ICND2 link and there are 2 links to study for OSPF & OSPF2.

I did the exam. Valid 100%. But read for OSPF. There were 4 question on topolgy of 6 routers.

Valid Exam . 4-5 questions were out of this dump but still managed to score 947.

all info can be gleemed from these commands. Also remember the rules of how a neighbour relationship can be created

The exam was 50 questions.

I had 3 SIMs. One was on OSPF. All other SIMS are listed on here and 9tut. I had no DnD questions. I had no questions on IPv6, I studied these dumps and 9tut.com

However, I have been studying my CCNA for the last year or so. I work in IT and want to make the move to become a Network Engineer.

I have a true love for it and was scoring 85% on the dumps the 1st time I took them anyway.

I love the CBT nugget videos and watched them all about 3 times over. Then I would skip through Wendall Odem's book and pick out the extra detail the nuggets didn't cover.

Dumps are valid. There are some OSPF questions and I did get the OSPF troubleshooting simulation.

However, I have studied this part time over a year. UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS!!!

WF all chapters from the ICND1 book are in the 100-101 exam. N there are 30 chapters in the 100-101 book. if you got the old 640-822 ICND1 book you need that and the ICND2 book.

Can someone tell me which chapters from the book (official Cisco ICND1) came to the exam? There are now about 26 chapters, but this book is also for the CCNA exam. I only want to exam the ICND1 exam.

What about of the Labs? Somebody knows what kind of labs are include?
