TD & MJ when I took the exam for the 2nd time, most questions were the same, it still had the 4 same Sims, only a few new questions, my advice is study both your 801 nd 802 coz I found answers of 801 questions which were on the exam on the 802 book, sorry I took long to respond

I wrote my 801 today 2 July 13. i got a score of 721 which is a pass. .i only used the dumps to study. The trick is to study and understand these dumps, DO NOT CRAM because they ask the same questions but some are asked differently. Dumps are +- 75% valid.

I already post a while ago that I passed. However due to the new people going for the exam ,and are panic or worried ,here is my advice. This dump is really help you pass ,because it help me, but you also need to study from a book like mike meyers, and watch professor video as I did. If you only rely in those dumps you will fail. This dump is 45 % valid , there are alot of new questions, and similiar questions, and some questions are word by word, the same are the same as everyone. Ur saying u took the exam 2nd time so i wanna take it for the second time too
First time i feild please need ur advice . All the questions for the second time for you was new or no some were repeated there and as u said for the 2nd time sims were also there for you. so please let me know what should i do if i retake this exam because on that time i gave this exam all these quesstion were changed now again ur saying this dumps still 75 % valid ? how ? please advice , Thanks in advance MJ

Hello everyone. I'm writing my 801 exam on the 2nd June 13.
I hear some of you are saying that the dumps are not valid and its making me panic a bit. If thats the case, what should i do to kill this exam.

I wrote my 801 yesterday 27/06/2013, got 721, there were a lot of new questions, coz I was writing it for the second time, I got 646 the first time than discovered VCE and the dumps, the simulations haven't changed so this dump is still 75% valid, and Thank you it really helped

I have been using this practice tests to study for the 801 & 802 exams and nothing else. Recently alot of people are saying that the questions have changed. Should i not take the test?

here from mexico, this is is very much valid, took the exam yesterday and MOST of the questions from this dump were word by word the exact same thing, thank you very much, oh almost forgot the simulations are exactly the same as well

Passed the 801 cert. 785 score. Only about 15 questions were from the VCE. You definitely need to read and understand the books for a primary source of learning. I would supplement the books with Professor Messer and Mike Myers videos. The VCE should only be used to get comfortable with taking the test. Practicequiz.com also has some good study material. if you only rely on the VCE you will fail.

Valid dump! Scored 900 after studying all of this dump. 95% of the questions were from this dump. Just make sure to study the SIM questions. My SIM questions were: Differences between IR, Bluetooth, Cellular, Parts of the motherboard, Parts you would put into a Home Theater and A/V Editing system. Overall very easy after studying this dump alone.

100% Valid just passed now, scored 880, Those dump question
are more than engouh to pass however take the following notes
1- You will the simulation first, mark them and leave them till the end , don't waste your time in the beggining you might be confused with them.

2- Read all the comments under the dump, they are really useful specially "sug" Thank you !!

3- There are some new questions around 7 of them, I remamber one of them asking about which is the least option to choose from the printers for archiving usage, and the answer was (Thermal,Laser, Impact,Inkjet) am not sure of my answer but I choosed the Impact

4- One of the new questions was about DHCP, they said a network setup with DHCP alredady and new router added so which feature need to be disable on the new router so that no conflect will happn , answer is DHCP

5-Study the motherboard parts in a perfect way, all the small connectors like (Power for CPU and Power for CPU fan, all types of slots PCI,PCI1,PCI4,PCI16, Flopy Desk connectors etc)


The exam is easy just relax and leave the simulation till the end.

Know all connections on motherboard. PCIe X1, X4, X16, CPU power connector, CPU Fan power connector, Sata, USB, Memory, Floppy Connector, IDE connector, etc

Steve: If you purchase Visual CertExam, it does not expire. Yes you can download as many dumps as you desire.

I realize sort of broke my own rule but it needed to be said. As for this dump and the others on the 801 page - they are extremely valid. A few additional questions not listed but nothing even close that could make or break you. What really caught me off guard was the Bluetooth/Radio/Infrared drag n' drop sim type question. I would have seen the person's comment who explained it in one of these pages but there was too much nonsense to sift through it all. Make sure you know BT, IR, and Radio's frequencies and max ranges. Just look each up on wikipedia, in first paragraph. And remember, 802.11G is backwards compatible with B, not N. The answer is listed as N in one of these dumps.

Does Visual CertExam expire after you pay for it and also can you then download as many of these dumps as possible for free?

There were maybe 2 or three that didn't look familiar. But I don't remember what they were. I believe I got them correct.

BTW, the 4th sim which I forgot about was on RAID. It asked for redundancy using fewest and fastest IDE HDD and they gave you 3 bays and you had to make a line from the HDD's to the bays. They gave a choice of 4 HDD's 2 of them were SATA and 2 were IDE.

JC did you find all of the questions in this dump in the real exam?

This is legit! Passed today with a score of 801.
I had a few sims:
Identifying parts of a motherboard; RAM Slots, PCIe, CPU, Floppy, etc..
Identifying video ports drag and drop; VGA, S-Video, HDMI, DVI
Building a Thick Client Drag and Drop, Gaming PC and a Home Theater PC

I used Mike Meyers and Exam Cram book, Prof Messer vids on YouTube.

Can anybody please tell me how can i prepare for simulation Qs ?? i am planning to prepare the A+ exam myself and it would be great help if anyone can recommend the resources (specially for performance based Qs) i can use to prepare (beside the professor messer videos) .

What is the best book to study for A+ ?

Any recommendations on whether to buy designer or manager?

Hey everyone. Just passed the exam today 784/900. I studied the questions from Anonymous, Aevorea, and Caitto. All three dumps are very similar. Most of the questions from the dumps were on there, except for 5-6 new ones, which were very easy.

with 4 sims:
motherboard connectors: USB, Serial, SATA, PCIe, PCIe (x1,4,16), CPU socket, CPU fan, RAM, IDE, Floppy, Front Panel Jumpers, Processor Power, Main Power, CMOS

HDD redundancy: 2x 7200

display connectors found on back of desktop: Serial, DVI, HDMI, S-Video, Component

Build HTPC, Gaming PC, Thick Client: CPU, video, RAM, storage, specialized hardware/software. Have to know your hardware for this sim.

Hello everyone. I have a schedule appointment for may 26 in oswego, ny. I just want to be sure if the questions in this dump are the same in the real test?because I am studing base in this dump,and professor messer youtube videos. I had read through everyone post in this page, I they said 80+ of the questions in this dump are in the real exam, but I am worry because I live in defferent city, and maybe the test is different or you can find the questions in the dumps in the real test across the United State? 869/900 or a 97%. Got 4 SIMs dealing with:

-Mobo circuit layout
-Home Theater PC, Cost-effective thin client, Gamer PC
-HDD Question that asked for highest performance and redundancy using the least amount of HDDs
-Drag and Drop on Display connectors

I think I had about 3 to 5 new questions. This dump is very valid.

What I did: Studied full exam and scored 95% or higher consistantly. Watched the Professor Messer videos on youtube. Make sure you find diagrams relating to the sims. Very important.

A+ certified! Passed both 801 (814/675) and 802 (884) today. I used a variety of books including Professor Messor's online videos and these dumps. The 801 dump by aevorea is approximately 80% valid and the 802 dump by Caitto is approximately 90% valid as of today. Same sims as mentioned before. These dumps are good enough if you just need a pass.

One question though, Ive seen comments stating the actual test had around 70 questions, others say 90. The official Comptia a+ page says 90 also.

I've been in IT for a few years now but never got around to getting certified. I find this lab pretty easy and I'm averaging 86% when taking it in 71 question increments, done like 5 different times. Should I just go for it?

Passed today with max score 900/900. You can find 80%+ of the questions in these dumps so try and practice on them. As previously stated by LM don't underestimate the exam by relying only on these dumps. Study at least a couple of weeks prior to taking it. I can also recommend "CompTIA A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, 8th Edition (Exams 220-801 & 220-802)" written by Mike Meyers (which by the way has a delightful style in writing and consequently making you understand why you need to know the things you are learning for the exam). As a personal advice to you all: take your time and don't rush the exam.. by this you'll do yourself a favor as well as to others (since I noticed Comptia is gathering "metadata" during the exam.. like how much time do you spend per question and overall.. and based on that I guess they are refreshing the content). I wish to extend a special thanks to those who made these dumps voluntarily as well as the site administration. Good luck to you all.

This morning, I passed the actual exam with a 741. The only thing that threw me off in the exam are the sims. I was practically hopeless. But nevertheless I passed it. Next one, 802.

Just came from the test now. Passed 756. I was given 71 questions. first four as usuall the said and talked about simms. spotted about 6 new questions. of these new questions only 1 was really new the other 5 were reworded or twisted one on this dump. just be caredul there. the new question was asking about a mouse and keyboard not functioning when a new pc is built up. You need nothing guys to pass. Just this dump noyhing else.

I wrote my exam yesterday., passed with 900. My advise to you guys, study. Just take these dumbs as practise exams and only depend on them (as you can have suprises on your test). The exam has been updated, and new question were introduced. Recommended study materialos:CompTIA A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, 8th Edition (Exams 220-801 & 220-802), CompTIA A+ 220-801 and 220-802 Authorized Exam Cram, Proffesor Messer Videos (this guy is good), CBT Nuggets 2012 Update.

If you really like IT, and planning to build on your IT career, study, study, and study. All the best on your test (you can ask any question you have). I will writing soon my 220-802, aswell.

70% was on my exam today. Same 4 SIM's as mention from Jan-Apr 2013 (just to let others know there are 4 different exams).

I got 8-12 new questions on my exam , my motherboard SIM was tricky (15 choices, half of them dumb it down to simpler terms

Obviously, this helps a large amount, but remembering answers isn't going to help you. Thanks for the dump and if you didn't study/understand why it's the answer, find a new career dumb@ss
