The power outage sim is this:
The power outage created a broadcast storm or switch loop between the three swtiches. You have to break the redundant link to kill the switching loop. To be safe you want to turn all of them off them back on, then break the redundant link between two of the devices.

You should break the link between 1 and 3. Because 1 should be able to get to switch 3 through switch 2. But the direct connection between 1 and 3 means there can be a loop. So you turn off the port that connects switch 1 and 3 on both devices and break this link.

That's how I did it back when I took the exam and I only got like one question wrong and it wasn't this question.

Valid dump. Passed today with 810/900. There were only a 2-3 new questions, but were very easy. the simulations were spot on!

After taking the Network+ exam today, and passing with a 863/720, I'll say this dump is 99% Valid.

Sims were spot on (even though I think I bombed them completely)

Only question that was new, that I remember is "What Protocol is used for Webpages", which is obviously HTTP. There were more but it was basically common sense.

Study and take use this dump a few times and you'll pass.

Passed today November 7 with a 863. Thanks for the dump. Only saw 4 new questions. The sims weren't hard. 1) configure 3 waps in building 1 and a connection to building two. 2) part 1 select which tool to test a cable, part 2 is pin out a cat 5e. 3) power outage caused some desktops to not very able to connect to the internet. I think you just disable then re-enable the ports. Maybe someone else knows for sure. 4) this was the one with 3 waps, one of them being a replacement. I'm pretty sure you just have to change the settings on wap 2 to channel 6 and mode g and 100/full.
Just memorize the questions and you'll pass.

I pass today with a really good score of 821,I study this only and CB Nuggets. and to my surprise it was a really great dump, i think i saw about 4-5 new question, i think i didn't well on the Sim, but the question what really safe, thanks for the hardworking people that took time out to make these dump to help us success in life.

Just took test today and passed with 836. AnonTester was right on with questions. Just about 2-3 new questions and about 4 simulations at the very beginning of the test. I had a total of 80 questions. Study this dump and you will do just fine! Thanks AnonTester!

Both /26 and /27 would give you enough hosts 26/ =62 hosts and /27gives you 30 hosts. /28 will only give you 14 hosts per subnet did it specify the amount of networks required?

was a simple sub-netting example, if you are going to sub-net a class c address and your largest number of hosts is 16 which CIDR will you use A=/26 B=/27 C
=/28 or D=?29.

the sim has pic where you have diagram of tow separate buildings.next to each other.in building 1 you have to set the direction of the APs. if you understand the quesiton, this is easy to set.you have to set the signal in a way that it doesnt broadcast the SSID outside the building. you have to choose the right kind of antenna from the list .so you set the AP on left to broadcast signal towards the inside of the building meaning towards right ride.the AP on the right should be broadcasting towards the left side which is also broadcasting within the building.the AP in the middle would broadcast in all direction. So for middle AP choose omnidirectional.and for 1st and 3rd or (left and right ) APs choose uni directional.and choose the encryption type to be open since the question mentions that guest should be able to use it without any special requirement.now second part of the question is to connect building 1 and 2 wireless;y.So for this you only have to choose the encryption type from the list in building 2.the option i think were WEP. WAP. WAP2- CCMP and WAP2-TKIP.I choose the WAP2-CCMP, which i think was wrong.The answer should be WAP2-TKIP.
I hope it make sense.Its difficult to explain without the graphics.but thats how the I answered.

Yes the tool used is cable certifier.
cable certifier is used to run series of tests to certify a copper cable in accordance with TIA and ISO standards .The answer for step 2 is "incorrectly crimped cable " ( 1,2 should be short, not open as 1,2 pair is used for Tx meaning for transmitting )

Sat exam today passed with 860! (up yours red hat) Almost identical to this dump. Sims were cable colours, configuring WAP, encrypting WAP and pointing antennas towards another building. There was another where the networked had crashed and you just had to turn on and off.

THIS IS A VALID DUMP. 90-95% were on here the rest was common sense. You don't even need to do the course to pass this!!!

Passed this exam the other day with an 847, these questions are word-for-word what is on the actual exam. It could not be any easier honestly.

Also, there are 4 or 5 simulation questions on the exam that were not on this dump. One of them regarding re-crimping an ethernet cable, and which color goes with which.

@ morne : I believe there is an error.there isnt any exam coded N00-005.
I suggest you should look into rectifying it.
I cant predict when there might be a new exam, however I have noticed that dumps dont change drastically.only few changes happen in short period of time.
I have uploaded a dump of 105 questions on saturday after the exam which is still under process, I believe, in which I have filtered the questions which aren't on the exam anymore. for new changes please read my comments labelled pappup P1 and P2.

Confirmed to be still valid. I took my test less than an hour ago and pass just shy of 900. Questions were pretty exact, but there was a sim and 2 questions on mine exam that were not included in this dump. Unfortunately I don't remember the question (sorry).

One weird occurrence == two questions were asked twice.exact wording in question for one of them , option for answers were worded slightly differently.

First of all this dump is still 95%-98% valid.just passed with 880/900
exam started with 5 sims.
1). Setup Wifi antenna and security in building 1 with 3 AP's and a Wirelss bridge to the building 2 (got this half wrong, i believe)
2). AP2 was replaced, configure for perfomance.this is where u just change AP2 for -- Band G ,channel 6, 100 and full mode
3). 568B pinou on Rj45.select which color cable goes where .
drag and drop.
4). from the given pic, answer whether the RJ45 pin is crimped properly or not , and which tool was used.{2 part cable certifier question in the dump}( dont be confuse with my wording, all sims are from the dump )
5). from 3 switches, disable/ enable the necessary port. == just disable last port of bottom left switch and first port of bottom right switch.leave other ports enabled.
Note== I didn't numbered the switch in my explanation here as the number could change in the exam
A bit frustrating that this dump is neither usable for answering the sims nor it gives the correct answers for the sims ( specially the first one which isn't straight forward )

I took the test today as well and I passed with 875. I missed only two of the four questions having to do with the sims. Study the sims guys, especially the wiring colors of a rj45 568b standard. There were 5 new questions that are not on the dump as people said before but they're easy. Good luck.

The sims were the same. There was one though that was not here: They ask you to grab a network cable and put the wires in the correct order. You know, the colors.
Anyway, Thanks to this dumb I passed with 847.

Took test Oct. 1st, was still very valid, 4 sims (know how the wires are set on a Ethernet plug, know wireless settings, know how switches work with loops) and I only had maybe 4-5 new questions. I receive a 868/900 only with practical knowledge and studying this dump 3 times.

I completed the exam this morning. Received a score of 884. There were 4 sims at the beginning, same as mentioned earlier, there were 4 - 5 new questions. The answers match the dump exactly. I went through all 298 questions 9 times and received the score above.

Just finished the test in Ft. Wayne - passed with a score of 852. 90 to 95% of the multiple choice were in this dump, verbatim. I got all sims in this dump except the troubleshooting steps. A few new questions, but they're relatively easy to figure out. Good luck.

Wrote the exam today in South Africa and exactly got the questions on this dump.

Just took and passed the test with an 863. 80 questions first 4 were simulations two of which were in this file. Out of the 80 questions about 75 where in this file.

one of the sims you needed to know the T568B color code. One sim has different types of wireless antennas (directional, etc) and you have to configure 5 APs. Somewhat straight forward.

Took the Net+ last week, reviewed this dump 3 times in full. Literally every question I answered on the exam was in this dump. Even the 4 simulations at the beginning. Study this dump and you'll do fine.

Also, @JB, this dump may be incompatible with whatever W8 Visual CertManager you have. I tried installing VCM on my other machine with 8 and had no luck. Hopefully you have a machine with 7 on it, or can whip up a quick 7 VM. Good luck.

Took the N10-005 test today, 9/27. Got 879/900. 4 simulation questions to start the test, 1.5 of which were not in this dump. Took the test this morning, scored 879/900! The questions contained in this database are mostly verbatim as presented on the real exam. The first 4 questions on my test were simulations, after that it switched to multiple choice. Thanks for putting this together!

@Coolblaze thanks! I took the class this week and needless to say I learned some things but that it was taught a little fast. I've been taking the tests since Wed. In class today the instructor went over some "test questions" & all I could do was smile in the inside b/c he was asking the same questions from this test. I've heard some very good things about this site. Taking my exam Tues, hopefully I can remember everything. Lol. Congrats on passing the exam.

Today here in Dubai 2 and a half hours ago, I took N10-005 exam for 25 minutes and I got 889 score! Thanks a LOT AnonTester for sharing this exam!!! This is 98% accurate! I just keep on practicing on this exam for 5 days, and also I watched CBTNuggets network+ video training and some Professor Messer videos.

The simulations killed me, i saw on the exam the exact same simulations included in this dump, i was just to dumb to study them thinking they would be different. LEGIT!!

Passed on 9/23/2013 with a score of 868/900. That's 96% correct answers. Just guessed on the 568B Cable Crimping SIM, or Patch Cable SIM, NOT in this dump. And I found only FOUR new questions not on this dump either. That's amazing! Because everything else is word for word. It's so easy, it made me laugh. Thanks! :) Security+ is next. ;)

Hi study this dump for 2 weeks and passed today 831/900. This is 100 % valid. All of the questions where the same. You will have to configure a patch cable. They use grey color instead of orange. Good Luck!

I downloaded this VCE on Friday. I had studied a Transcender for 4 weeks and went to the school where I am taking my 2012 MCSE and took there NET+ pre test and it was nothing like the Transcender so I called PVUE and rescheduled for today. I took this VCE 60 questions at a time 2 times over the last 3 days and I PASSED with an 836. 4 simulations and the rest were exactly the same. I will write another with the questions I recall from this VCE. This the job man.

One new sim, Configure multiple buildings with multiple antennas and highest wireless security available. Building A, I set security to open and Omi directional antenna . 9/21/2013..Just took the exam today..passed with 799/900. Simulations were just like the ones in in the dump. Only two new questions on the test. Studied the dump for a week.

Confirmed that this dump is nearly 100% accurate. Four or five flash simulations were new, otherwise it was pretty much perfect. I got 94%.

Hi, everyone. What is the exact sim question regarding the one with 5 APs? I can't remember the dump having it. or is just me? What did you do to answer it?

actually hes right MrRealLife there were a few dumps on here that has 769 to be exact. i normally compare the questions with www.pass4sure .com and they had the same but i notice that they update every 3 months and they just update on sept 1. and they now have 298 question and they only update when they exams are updated

There is no Dump with 799 questions for Network + You seeing things. If you don't understand that concept of this website. Just be as stupid as the question you asked and continue to fail.

Just took the exam and passed it. I would say 90% valid. There were different sims and a few questions not on this vce, but you could literately just study this and pass with at least 800+.

I took the exam - out of curiosity - why does SIM have to be channel 6? Cant it be Mode G channel 7?

Just got back from the test. Passed with an 879. Only got one wrong. Learn how to make an Ethernet cable! 1 SIM and 3 multiple-choice not in the dump. I would say at least 80% accurate. For the power failure SIM, you need to disable both ends of the redundant link. For the WAP SIM, AP2 needs to be set to use G, change channel to 6, Link speed is 100/Duplex. No need to change AP1 or AP3. The only question I got wrong was the RJ45 SIM. Learn the correct colors for crimping an RJ45! One of the multiple choice not in the dumb had an incorrect gateway, it was pretty obvious. Can't remember the other 2.

What ports to enable on the WAP power failure question? I assume you just disable 2 of them?

Just walked inside from taking it. Dump is 90% valid at least! A few new questions, and I'd guess 2-3 that were the same as the dump, just worded a slight differently.
