Pass Your CompTIA 220-802 Exam Easy!

Hello everyone.
I took 802 for second time today 05/24/2014 and passed it. Almost as same question with previous one. Almost 85% of question comes from 802 premium which I paid for it. The sim questions was ok. For Sim questions please check the Mr. Miss Don comment all of them 100% valid.

Passed today with 874 score. From 72 questions 7 were Sims in exactly the same order as in Rahul's comment! And about 50 of the rest 65 multi-choice questions were from this dump so it's 100% VALID!

Passed today with 861 score. I can confirm that a lot of this questions (Cristiano.442q) appeared on my 220-802 test today. A lot of people failed because they did not know their sims. FOCUS on sims, do this questions and you'll be fine!
PS. I was doing some questions from vernj.293q dump-very good as well.
I got sims tha same as "Rahul India (Apr 16, 2014)" mentioned.

most of sims are same except few new one
SIM1:- Asked to setup a user password for an account. passowrd should follow microsoft recommendations.
Open Computer management, go to user slect user account possibly named john
create a password with special character, upper case, lower case and a number with min length of 8.
Also enable a screensaver and set the system to ask for logon after screensaver.
Control panel , personalization.screen saver option on bottom right, choose screen saver and check the first box below, click apply
Also enable logon after system resumes from standby. go to control panel and power coption, on the left click on require a password on wake up. check the box for enable logon and hit apply

SIM2:-place action in correct sequence
quarantine system, Disable system restore,delete restore point, remediate sytsem, renable restore , create restore point, update spwyare and anti virus, educate user

SIM3:-two disks 1 and 2 are installed in the system. Technician cannot format them from commmand prompt. need to format disk 1 as dynamic disk with two partitions a drive letter 5 with 256000 and drive letter g with 512000mb. both partiton should allow enrcrption and redunancty.
answer;-right clcik on disk 1, click on intitialize, choose disk and option as mbr.hot ok. again right click on disk 1 and choose convert to dynamic disk. now right click on disk 1 and choose new simple volumje. specify storage as 256000 and assign a drive letter f and choose file system as ntfs and clcik finsih. do the same thing for rest of space of disk 1

SIM3:-configure email on mobile. will have bunch of setting incouding for wireless and pop. ignore all. click on mail enter username and password which will be first two field given by simulation. for incoming choose imap and enter the server name give and port number. for outgoing choose smtp and ente rthe server name and port number given. thats it no need to do anythingelse unless specified by the sim

SIM4:-share on compauter a , u cant access on computer b. network admin has assigned a new ip address to computer a and u cant access on computer b
u will c two command windows a and b
on computer a u need to type
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
this will ensure computer a has current ip address
on computer b type ipconfig /flushdsn

SIM5:- wired network, cx uses at home an dwork. work uses dhcp and home uses stattic. need to configure setting for home. default gateway is like 10.10.10.1
subnet 255.255.255.255
ip address is 10.10.10.15
dns sever is same as default gateway\router address
no wins
u need to right click on wired and choose properties and click on tcp ipv4 and clcik properties and choose alternate config and ente rthe values in the fields

SIM6: boot error for windows 7 , u had to navigate to command prompt from windows repair screen and run command bootrec /fixboot
SIM7:-need to disable some app in msconfig in startup and service tab. fairly easy
SIM8:- proxy setup, read previous logs and some good discreptions on how to correct the probles

took my 802 today, did not pass. the sims mentioned below are 100 accurate, there was a new drag and drop, which was about, list the steps in order on how you would go about remediating a virus.. enable backup, disable restore point, remediate threat, virus scan etc...

Quite a few of the questions on this dump were on the exam verbatim.

The Sim's are actually not as complicated as people make them up to be, they are actually fairly easy to complete.

Mail Sim :

Read the instructions carefully, some of the Sim's has traps in them. You will configure the phone with IMAP and SMTP protocols
for the incoming coms, "select IMAP". and configure the outgoing coms with SMTP. "Note the information required to fill in the settings are all provided by the Sim. So please Read Carefully.

Computer A-B setup :

You will see 2 Command screens (Left PC-A, Right PC-B). Click on Screen B and Input the Following Commands. ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
you will see that the commands will work after each input. after the final command, click in the information box "done". and that's it.

Windows Boot error :

You will start on the windows Boot menu. "Select Boot from windows disc". after that the Windows installation window will appear, in the left bottom corner you will see a option called " Start Up repair", click on it. once done look at the bottom of the window and "Select command prompt", the command window will open. now "type in the following command Bootrec /fixboot. once you have pressed "enter" to confirm the command, a message will appear to say that the command was successful. after that your "done".

Wired Network Card :

Here you will begin in the Pc network connections window. "Select and open the Wired connection (LAN)". now under the protocols window "Select IpV4 and open it", now the ip/dns tabs will appear. "Select Alternate Configuration", now insert the Ip address provided by the sim its 10.10.10.15. the subnet is 255.255.255.0 and the Default Gateway is 10.10.10.0 i think i cant remember correctly but it's close ;) . After you have inserted all the provided information click "Apply then OK". And your "Done".

MSCONFIG :

This is a simple one, you will start on the Windows Desktop, "Goto the Start menu and Type in the Search bar MSCONFIG". after your done click on Start up and remove the Tick from the application name provided by the sim ( i forgot what is was called ). When done "Click on the Services tab, and remove the tick from the application name provided by the sim. After that's finished click Apply and OK". and your "Done".

Proxy Setup :

Another simple sim, you will start in the control panel window. "Select and open Internet options". Once done you will see a address called Hacker123.com or something. "Click use Blank page" as your home page, this will remove the Hacker123.com web address. Once done Click the Connections Tab. On this window look at the bottom right corner you will see "LAN settings", click on it, The Local Area network tab will open. on the bottom of this window you will see a option called "Proxy Server" and beneath the name is a Tick in the little box. "Remove this Tick and click OK. click OK again to apply the settings and your "Done".

Took the test, today. Passed!!!!! 806. I'll take it. This has been an invaluable resource. I did see a few questions from this dump on the test. But, to be fair, I didn't go through all 415 questions. More like 125. A huge thanks to Jacky for the sims explanation. I was able to breeze through them with no issues. I was really hung up on them and being able to get through them quickly gave me a much needed boost in confidence.

I take my 802 test tomorrow. I've been studying this dump as well as Prof Messer A+ videos. Having the sims explained has been a tremendous help. I'll be sure to follow up with my results.

Valid sims on point passed today 821

Passed today with 85X. Dump is def not valid anymore, only had about three questions from the dump. The rest were similar so if you understand the answers you will be fine, you cannot pass by memorizing the dump. This is a great way to test yourself after actual study. Had every SIM listed below, those are still spot on.

Passed with 831/900 but i should warn that I only got 20% of the exam questions from this dump. The sims were all there. Great as a source of study but you need to know your stuff to pass this exam. Good luck peeps.

I passed with 813. I used this dump for study guide and experience but DO NOT depend on this by itself. Dump is definitely not valid. However, scroll down to this discussion thread and there are comments about simulations. Study it and understand the concept. Good luck!

Passed today with 844. Only had about half a dozen questions that came from this dump. So not very valid in that aspect. However, the SIMs are exact as mentioned below. I only studied this dump. Read questions carefully and you should do fine.

Seems like mix of valid and not valid, for me it was not valid. Had like 3 questions appear everything else was different. The Sims were exactly what everyone was saying.
I still passed with a 838, this dump helped a lot even if the questions didn't appear. I only studied this dump and nothing else.
Tip: Don't just memorize the questions, understand why the answer is the answer and if you got it wrong understand why you got it wrong, you'll pass.

Thanks to Cristiano, Jacky and user comments I passed both 801 and 802 today with score of 800 and 790. This dump is 98% valid and the sims where exactly as explained here.

This dump is still valid. The sims are 100% accurate. I scored 850/900 today by studying this dump and using the COMPTIA A+ Study Guide by Jane and Charles Holcombe (I highly recommend this book). Consider it a $50 investment/ $25 for 220-801 & 220-802. Maybe 30% of the questions were word for word from this dump, but using the process of elimination on the other 70% combined with having read the book apparently helped get me well over the hump. That book is the ticket- it lays out the subject areas for 801 and 802 by page number, quizzes after each chapter, exam watch notes (provides pin-point notes on what to expect on the exams), and CD-ROM with practice exams for 801 and 802.

took 802 on March 7. Christiano dump probably 95 percent on point. all sims the same, saw every question before except 2. all i studied was Messer vids and this dump.

I would say that ~75% of this dump is valid.
ALL OF THE SIMS WERE THE SAME!
All the sims were in the beginning too.
Practice the crap out of this dump and make sure you know how to do the sims.

Passed today with an 775. Had the same sims like everyone else. Study the dump, grab a book and study, and watch Professor Messer's videos and you will pass if you're smart.

Does the 802 ask about all the specifications for each OS install? Like processor speed, amount of RAM, free space in HD, graphics RAM?

Absolutely murdered the exam 869. This exam is legit. Sims are on point...other sims include setting up phone for email, ipconfig /flushdns, command line Recovery bootrec /fixmbr, /fixboot /rebuildbcd

Passed with over 90%. I counted 16 questions (out of 80) that came from this dump. Jacky’s SIM descriptions (the comment from Dec 10, 2013) and Bojo’s SIM descriptions (the comment from Oct 31, 2013) are accurate. Just be sure to read the SIM directions carefully on the exam. In the simulation where you configure the wired network card, the instructions say to enter the DNS information in addition to IP address, subnet, and default gateway. That wasn’t specified in Jacky’s comment.

This dump is still definitely valid. I took the 802 yesterday and got an 856. I had all of the sims Jacky submitted and probably 80% of the test were questions from this dump. Study this and you will pass. I used this, Professor Messer, and A+ for Dummies. Thanks guys!

Alot of crazy cell phone new questions on there and know about vpn. other than that study from your books and this and you should do good.

Jas..... to purchase VCE, it costs $29 for manager only which will let you read all of the dump's questions. But if you buy manager and designer (together), it will cost only $34 altogether (Vce Manager/Designer). With VCE designer you can refer to questions in the order that the dump's creator wrote it. In VCE manager the questions are random order. :( Also in Designer, you can edit answers (make corrections as you read the comments on this site) and add your own comments when studying. So you could copy and paste comments that other users make on these dumps.
Sure, you could d/l a key for vce, but why not just support the vce publisher? When you buy it for $34, you have TRUE lifetime support so you can d/l each new version as its released and use your personal key. For example, there is a new version of VCE a year from now, you can simply d/l it, and enter your lifetime key to activate it (and all future updates).
You can use Vce for any exams listed on this website.

Passed exam today with 812. I only studied this dump + Professor Messer video on YouTube(WATCH THIS!). Make sure you go through this dump TWICE and understand those SIMS mentioned below and you should be okay. I only got about 5 questions out of this dump however other questions are pretty much same thing in different words from this dump. GOOD LUCK!

Just passed the test with 8xx today. Around 40% of the exam question came out from this Dump and all the sim that mentioned before were there. The other 60% is mostly guess. Thank you everybody and good luck to the rest.

Just passed with an 813 out of 900 this morning! The DUMP wasn't very valid in my personal experience. Only about 20 of 62 questions were from this DUMP. I studied all of A,B,D, and E but only about 25 questions from C. The sims were all the same as Jacky stated. Either way, if you study this DUMP and the sims, you should be able to pass IMO.

The SIMULATIONS have been really helpful both 801 & 802.
Sim 7 Proxy setting, don't forget to switch on Firewall and unclick the Block incoming boxes.
I passes both of them, 698 & 742, that's because i focus a lot on the simulations not the questions lol. GOD bless you all guys for the helps and for sharing. May the peace of God be with you all. AMEN!

All the SIMs are still good. Email SIM gave the WLAN settings but said not aloud to use internal WLAN so I did not touch those. Also said inbox messages have to match READ/UNREAD so IMAP must be used.

Just took the test and passed with a 900. These dumps REALLY helped. The dumps were the only thing I studied and I have little to no XP with this. I downloaded and memorized 5 different dumps including this one and there were 50 of the 66 multiple choice questions from these dumps!! Not only was there such a large amount of questions from the dumps, but they were word for word and the answers were actually in the same order :) I definitely got very lucky with this test. Also, Jackie's comments on the SIMS are accurate. I got 7 of the 8 and followed her instructions, which was a huge help b/c they were confusing for me. Honestly, the MAIL sim still confused me b/c Jackie did not include very much info on it. My confusion was how much info I actually needed to input from what they gave in the instructions. There were a few things that she did not mention so I was not positive what to do. One thing I left off was configuring the wireless, b/c even know they gave you all the info for it, the last sentence on the instructions say that you are not allowed to use the companies wireless. Anyway, these dumps are a huge help, don't just pick one, take a couple weeks and memorize multiple like I did and I think you will be fine.

3 people in a row just stated it is valid. Also, you will notice they are the most recent dates. You will also find that if you study any of the dumps you will see the same questions over and over and over. Trust me. I studied them all.

Just always look for the latest comments on a dump to see if it is still current. Also dont take the easy road. These are to help you see what you dont know and improve. Therefore you must take as many as possible and hope you get as many different questions as possible. I hope this clears it up some.

Thanks to Cristiano, Jacky and user comments, I took exam on 8 Jan and passed with 809/900, this dump is still valid and the sims are as jacky posetd as below,
The Sim's are actually not as complicated as people make them up to be, they are actually fairly easy to complete.

Mail Sim :

Read the instructions carefully, some of the Sim's has traps in them. You will configure the phone with IMAP and SMTP protocols
for the incoming coms, "select IMAP". and configure the outgoing coms with SMTP. "Note the information required to fill in the settings are all provided by the Sim. So please Read Carefully.

Computer A-B setup :

Wired Network Card :

MSCONFIG :

This is a simple one, you will start on the Windows Desktop, "Goto the Start menu and Type in the Search bar MSCONFIG". after your done click on Start up and remove the Tick from the application name provided by the sim ( i forgot what is was called ). When done "Click on the Services tab, and remove the tick from the application name provided by the sim. After that's finished click Apply and OK". and your "Done".

Proxy Setup :

Another simple sim, you will start in the control panel window. "Select and open Internet options". Once done you will see a address called Hacker123.com or something. "Click use Blank page" as your home page, this will remove the Hacker123.com web address. Once done Click the Connections Tab. On this window look at the bottom right corner you will see "LAN settings", click on it, The Local Area network tab will open. on the bottom of this window you will see a option called "Proxy Server" and beneath the name is a Tick in the little box. "Remove this Tick and click OK. click OK again to apply the settings and your "Done".

David is 100% correct. I took the test today and all sims were exactly as said. However someone mentioned that the bootrec sim was
bootrec /fixmbr. This is incorrect as the issue is with a OS partition. Therefore it requires bootrec /fixboot.

The questions were around 70% legit for me, but the dump still helped me greatly. I made a 869 out of 900.

Lastly, a tip for the sims:

When you encounter any of the command prompt sims you can type ? and it will show the commands they have allowed you to use. If you happen to forget which one to use you can test with the ones provided and then reset the sim. This way when you feel comfortable you figured out how to fix the issue you can reset it and only perform the 'thinned down' version of what is needed.

There were a lot of questions around rootkit, malware, worm, phishing so make you understand. I didnt go through this file completely but most questions did come from this. A bit of logical reasoning, eliminating the wrong answers also helped a lot. Cheers again.

I memorized the answers to the questions and studied the info Jacky gave on the sims and I passed with a 827/900. If you do the same 802 will be a breeze. My advice is to not wait too long to take the exam after you get through this dump. I got the mail sim wrong for some reason. There are traps in that sim I think. I feel like a lot of people get that sim wrong. I have no idea what I did wrong, but I got all the rest of the sims right. The sims are pretty easy in comparison to the custom pc sims in 801. I am A+ CERTIFIED! Now it's time to tackle Network +.

Just passed today with an 834/900, 75% of questions were on exam, all sims were the same as discribed by other people in the comments.

I just finished taking the 220-802 and agree with everything Wes said. I actually got an 887 as well =) except it said the area I missed a question was 1.3 given a scenario use the appropriate command line tools. I studied with Myers A+ book, Prf. Messers online course, and this dump.

I just would like to say. I was pretty skeptical about this dump at the beginning. Reading thru all these comments had me wondering if this is real. I understand when someone comments on this dump by saying it's word for word compared to the real exam. I can say by taking the exam today. It is word for word on about 80% of the questions I got from this dump. Out of 73 questions I say at least 5 were not at all in this dump. I still scored 874 out of 900. 2 questions I got wrong. 3.2 Establish basic network connectivity and configure email. and 4.9 Given a scenario, troubleshoot printers with appropriate tools. Thank you Jacky for the sims. Looked at all of professor messer 802 free videos one time only and now I am comptia certified. I went over the dump questions about 8 or 9 times til I had them memorized. Professor messer joints were on point but this dump was the key of victory. Messer does not give it to you word for word. But it relates to this dump so I recommend this for anyone who decides to take the 802 exam. This is unbelievable I'm telling you.

Just sat for the 220-802 today and thanks to the comments and questions I was able to pass with a 887 out of 900. I missed something in objective 3.2 but not exactly sure what it was. This dump is still very much relevant and I would say at least 70% of the questions were either word for word or possibly a slight reword of these questions. I did study a total of about 40 hours in addition to reviewing these questions and it paid off. The simulation were exactly what Jacky listed below. Very simple knowing what to expect.

The Email sim seems to be different for many. Mine was in fact Pop3 with SSL and SMTP that was the correct format, not IMAP. For others it may be IMAP but for mine, it was indeed Pop3 SSL and SMTP.

Took this exam yesterday. Passed with a 854. The majority of the questions I received on my exam were from this dump. For the SIMS, study exactly what Jacky posted below.

Passed on Dec 11. Simms were exactly like Jacky from South Africa described except one ordering Win versions. The questions about 70% are in the dumps word by word, some were rephrased some new to me. Make sure you know troubleshooting theory steps and network configuration details (default gateway, dns). I've studied with CompTIA A+ book, which covers material well but doesn't teach how to answer exam questions. Good Luck and thank you ALL for your input and comments.

The Sim's are actually not as complicated as people make them up to be, they are actually fairly easy to complete.

Mail Sim :

Read the instructions carefully, some of the Sim's has traps in them. You will configure the phone with IMAP and SMTP protocols
for the incoming coms, "select IMAP". and configure the outgoing coms with SMTP. "Note the information required to fill in the settings are all provided by the Sim. So please Read Carefully.

Computer A-B setup :

You will see 2 Command screens (Left PC-A, Right PC-B). Click on Screen B and Input the Following Commands. ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
you will see that the commands will work after each input. after the final command, click in the information box "done". and that's it.

Windows Boot error :

You will start on the windows Boot menu. "Select Boot from windows disc". after that the Windows installation window will appear, in the left bottom corner you will see a option called " Start Up repair", click on it. once done look at the bottom of the window and "Select command prompt", the command window will open. now "type in the following command Bootrec /fixboot. once you have pressed "enter" to confirm the command, a message will appear to say that the command was successful. after that your "done".

Wired Network Card :

Here you will begin in the Pc network connections window. "Select and open the Wired connection (LAN)". now under the protocols window "Select IpV4 and open it", now the ip/dns tabs will appear. "Select Alternate Configuration", now insert the Ip address provided by the sim its 10.10.10.15. the subnet is 255.255.255.0 and the Default Gateway is 10.10.10.0 i think i cant remember correctly but it's close ;) . After you have inserted all the provided information click "Apply then OK". And your "Done".

MSCONFIG :

This is a simple one, you will start on the Windows Desktop, "Goto the Start menu and Type in the Search bar MSCONFIG". after your done click on Start up and remove the Tick from the application name provided by the sim ( i forgot what is was called ). When done "Click on the Services tab, and remove the tick from the application name provided by the sim. After that's finished click Apply and OK". and your "Done".

Proxy Setup :

Another simple sim, you will start in the control panel window. "Select and open Internet options". Once done you will see a address called Hacker123.com or something. "Click use Blank page" as your home page, this will remove the Hacker123.com web address. Once done Click the Connections Tab. On this window look at the bottom right corner you will see "LAN settings", click on it, The Local Area network tab will open. on the bottom of this window you will see a option called "Proxy Server" and beneath the name is a Tick in the little box. "Remove this Tick and click OK. click OK again to apply the settings and your "Done".

Dump is still valid. Passed today with an 847/900. There were 3-4 new questions, which were re-wordings or variants of questions in the dump. No new sims.

Sims:
1. Remove startup applications
2. Post virus-removal internet problems (uncheck proxy in "connections" tab)
3. Drag & Drop Windows features (included in dump)
4. Configure wired internet card
5. Sync smartphone with mail server (use smtp and imap)
6. Failure to boot (bootrec /fixmbr)
7. Communicate from ComputerA to ComputerB (ipconfig and ping)

Funda... to purchase VCE, it costs $29 for manager only which will let you read all of the dump's questions. But if you buy manager and designer, it will cost only $34 altogether (Vce Manager/Designer). With designer you can refer to questions in order. In manager the questions are random order. :( Also in Designer, you can edit answers and add your own comments when studying. So you could copy and paste comments that other users make on these dumps.
Sure, you could d/l a key for vce, but why not just support the vce publisher? When you buy it for $34, you have TRUE lifetime support so you can d/l each new version as its released and use your personal key.

Took the 802 today, passed with a 874. Dump is about 70% valid. Some new questions but most are in this dump. Sims are exactly the same. If anyone needs help with the Sims, leave your email in your comment and i shall gladly assist you :). Good luck!

Passed today with 827/900 only studied this vce with the sim instructions from the comments. I saw roughly 15 new questions on the test but this is still valid. If you study this you should be able to pass the exam still. Good luck & thanks Cristiano and people who shared sims.

Excellent dump. Only a few questions were different than what are on these exams. Simulations are as stated here. I scored 834/900. You only need to study these and familiarize yourself with the sims and you'll be fine. Thanks to everyone and Cristiano.

The version of the test that I got the dump had about maybe 50% of the questions and one simulation. I took the test today and passed with 761/900.

Just past with an 860/900. I studied all the versions of this exam and the more recent one. I'd have to say over half the questions from the test were on this exam!! Great study guide!

Dump is Valid - Passed today with 867/900. A couple of odd questions thrown in but not to bad. The simulations as disucssed in these forums are all spot on. There is some ambiguity with a couple of them so I will clarify on the harder simulations:

PHONE EMAIL SIMULATION
Just don't click on the WI-FI settings, or if you do make sure they are not enabled. Follow the instructions and information very clearly. You will use POP3 for the incoming, and you will use IMAP for the outgoing. All the other tangibles you fill in with the information given (or don't fill in depending on instructions).

SET UP NETWORK CARD
This simulation starts at the control panel already opened up on the network adapters available. What makes this one tricky, is that it will allow you to set up the wireless network also - do not do this as it is not part of the instructions. Only set up the hard card. Once you have checked the properties of the card, make sure you click on "alternate" tab, because you are setting up an "alternate" connection, not changing the work connection. You can't click the IPV6 so all you have to do is set up the IPV4. Follow all instructions and information - read slow and careful this one has many traps.

REBOOT SIMULATION
very easy, get to the command prompt and type exactly: bootrec /fixboot
You will then get a notice that all commands have been successfully carried out.

All other simulations are as described and should be very easy.
