I found a few descrpincies between the questions in this dump and some others. Zain already mentioned the Drag and Drop for SQL restore. Citrix Best practice says to use DB Mirroring first. Is this dump still valid?

Dump is very much valid. All the questions were from dump except two new questions.
One new was same as mentioned by voodoo32 about seeting power options
and second new was as below - for updating target VDisk
1. Put the VDisk in private mode
2. Install required software and updates
3. Increase version number
4. Put the VDisk in standard mode
5. restart the target device

Did anyone gave the exam recently? Any new questions? Am planning to give the exam on 31st OCT

Is the two new questions are from Vdisk and Power option which is mentioned by Voodoo32 from Spain or entirely two new questions.If its new and can you please share the new two questions and answers which came in the exam.

For vDisk, in question this vdisk have a backup

1. Set disk to private mode
2. Assign vDisk to VM
3. Make Changes
4. Shutdown VM
5. Change Disk to standard Mode
6. Assign vDisk to VM

For second question:

1. Desktop Studio
2. Assignments
3. Edit desktop group
4. Power Management / Edit /Peak Hours
5. Select when (logoff or disconnected I dont remember well)
6. Weekend

Hi Virtuz, i havent the capture of Drag and drop but the first is about updating software in one vDisk that is in use for other users and second its steps to apply a power settings to one desktop group. The other questions all for the dump.

Ok sounds good. Yeah I always play dumb with those questions in case they do weight the test accordingly. I've been a Citrix XenApp admin for years, just recently Desktop, hence the cert.

ok make sure before you start the test there are some mandatory citrix questions and if you say you are expert in citrix then the exam changes based on what specify. i said i m an expert thats why my exam came totally not the way i was prepared, but based on my knowledge i passed it I have datacenter at home where i have installed POC and complex XenDesktop environment so i have been working citrix number of years..

i am talking about official training from citirx and book.

Zain, what book are you referring to. 3rd party or the Citrix training guide?

I guess they changed questions today and if you want to pass you must have hands on experience with xendesktop with book knowledge.

I had 5 drag and drop Questions. From this dump i got about 35 questions from their but most of the questions came from book. Prersistant disk verses non persistant disk, 6 of the straight port number questions, you guys have to make sure port numbers are memorized very well. one question was about the 10% default state, one question about Installed, streamed and hosted applications, one question about if the virtual machine starts the end user cannot logon what two actions does the administrator need to take? etc etc

ExamAQ7 the drag and drop about the least amount of database downtime is incorrect. Should be Mirroring, VM HA using Hypervisor, Clustering and then rebuild from backup.
