Took the exam last April 22 and passed. had 4 sims:
1. configuring antenna signal and encryption between 2 buildings
2. reset port switch after power failure
3. identify which tool to use given a report and assessing if cable is working or not
4. network troubleshooting methodology.
exam questions were from the dump, thankfully. I studied the examcram and this dump.

Hi Guys took the exam today in South Africa passed with 784 the simulations are spot on these are the ones i had.
Sims I had:
1. Identify the Fibre connectors had FC ST LC and Dual LC
2. Kill the routing loop (disconnect the wire connected between switch 2 and 3)
here I disabled both the ports one on each switch was not too sure how to do it
and if it was rite as your guys should know that even if you disable one it will kill t the loop. ( Please advise if one or both ports should be disabled)
3. WAPs in two different buildings and you need to set them up (Directional signal from main building to the other with WAP and same encryption on each side, no security on the three WAPs in building because open guest accounts need to be active, limit the inside signal by using opposite directional att.'s on the walls and omni in the middle)
As everyone states this exam is about 60% go through all the questions have basic knowledged on networking some hands on experience and go through
other study material and you will be just fine, Thanks to all that have posted on this site.

I passed using this dump today 4/21/2013. I have to agree that this is about 60% valid. East Coast USA. Some questions were worded differently and the ones that were not on the test were easy enough with some secondary study material. I used the Todd Lammle study guide, this brain dump, and a few of the Prof. Messer videos. Though, I didn't find out about him until I was just about to take the test. I passed with an 825 our of 900 (needed 720). I could have done better but man was I nervous.

I've just passed in the UK today with 835. I'd say at least 60% of the questions were in this dump.
Using this before the exam helped me realise which subjects I wasn't strong on (or in some cases, even aware of!), and so I could study accordingly.
Many thanks to the guys mentioning the sims. I was able to brush up on those subjects in time and so they were easier to deal with.
I got:
Enable/disable switch ports after power outage
Cable testing, then wiring config
WAP placements and encryption
Fibre connectors
Thanks again, and good luck to everyone.

I passed but in the middle 700 range. Port numbers got me. Between endless acronyms and not one, but possibly 2 or more port numbers for various protocols it seemed my exam was loaded towards that end. I would say the sim's were identical to those listed below - cable test w/ matching up the colors, configure wireless network between two buildings, and a router that had lost power connected to three switches. But for the sake of passing, it's done. I should have changed spent more time memorizing things I could Google like obscure port numbers or acronyms. /shrug I would say my version of the test was MAYBE 10-15% representive of this Dump.

This dump helped a lot. Although in the very beginning, there was some virtual questions where I had to differ the connector type, 'configure' a wireless network between two buildings, set the colorful wires, etc. Around 5 if I remember correctly while there was only 75 questions for multiple choice. Thus, a total of 80 questions on the exam.
I saw a lot of questions similar to Lexxo's dump and I would say somewhere between 80-95%. Of course, it REALLY depends on your luck and thank god that I did some extra studying just to play it safe. Use this dump to your advantage but don't be afraid to study from the book as well.

Funguz,
Did you study lex dump, anonymous dump or both? I guess its luck of the draw. Some people say they had 90% word for word, others like you said 90% you never seen. It makes me wonder who to believe and who not to believe. I have no reason to BS and I will be taking my exam soon. I will report back. I ONLY studied the 789 questions from anonymous, never even looked at lex dump. Again, I also took a bootcamp and have a CS degree so this isnt all so new that I never seen the OSI model or anything. The sims I have down pat, at least 6 of them that were mentioned. So, hopefully I do get them. Out of the 789 questions, I would say I get over 700 correct. I will report back as soon as I get home from the exam.

About 75%-80% of the questions are on the exam word for word. Can't remember too many of the new questions, I believe one was along the lines of "You have received alerts notifying you that your network is undergoing a buffer overflow attack. What would you view to validate these alerts?" And the answers were:
a) SNMP traffic
b) IDS logs
c) some unrelated acronym like NTP
d) another unrelated acronym
I answered with IDS logs, I could have been wrong, but I believe that was the best answer.

Had three sims at the beginning. Pretty much the same SIMS at Nighthawk (WAP replacement, fiber connector id, 568B cable drag and drop).

Nighthawk....thanks for the input. I plan on taking the exam at the end of the week...maybe Thursday or Friday. Right now I am going through my third review of the exam. Yesterday I passed all exams between an 800s and 900s. Took first 100 just now and only missed two question. Whats next for you?

@Bob, when the exam begins you will get 3 simulation questions. unfortunatly there is no guide to which you can follow for them plus they are randomised, so there are no guarantees that you will get the same i did.
In regards to the Lexxo exams i only revised the first 6 out of 8 exams, which on the exam consisted of a mixture from there, however the safest option would be to revise the whole 8 to guarantee yourself a pass and get a top mark. if you download lexxos papers and parafashion through the questions you may be ok, but the best thing would be to understand each question and answer for e.g. what the differences are between 802.11 technologies as you will get a random selection on your test day. Hope that helps

Other than the simulation questions, if you revise lexxos paper you will have no issues. I passed with an 808 by revising 6 out of the 8 exams. every question that i had was in this download.

Thank you so much for your comments guys. It's always very important for all of us to know what we are going to face when taking an exam like Network+. I have been studying hard for the past three weeks, not to mention I'm repeatedly taking the exams one after another, non-stop. I've been scoring 910, 940 and even 970 sometimes.

Realistically, most of my questions came from the last 3 exams. However, the rest were varied throughout the rest. The day before I took the test, I took all of these exams repeatedly until I scored a 95% on the dumps. Long day, but it paid off in the end :) I saw a few new questions but nothign bad. It literally took me like 20 minutes for all 90 questions.

Thanks a lot for all the comments I've been seeing here. One thing, though, it's still not clear to me. You guys are posting comments about the fact that this dump is valid, however no one is talking about which one of the 8 exams are more likely to be faced when taking the exam.

Tested this morning and passed with an 883 and studied ONLY this dump... There are three SIM questions and they seem to vary from test to test based on what I'm reading here, my SIMS were not the same as others. Still easy though. The SIMS on my test consisted of:
1) Arrange the troubleshooting steps in the appropriate order
2) Enable/Disable appropriate ports on several switches after a power outage
3) Setup a wireless network for two buildings with the correct directional antennas and security.
Other than the SIMS, everything you need is in the dump to pass the test with ease! Good Luck

Hey guys, I just took the N+ yesterday. I figured all of these comments were fake but I still used the exams Lol. I passed with an 875/900. I studied these exams, most of which coming from the last 3. Just forewarned, the Fiber optic simulation question is in black/white. Real easy shit though. I noticed a vast majority of the questions on the test were from these ones. Just study this dump and google what you don't know. I could see a complete noob passing in 2-3 weeks at most.

This dump is still valid in Canada, Saskatchewan. Took the test today and passed with a 805. I also recommend looking for questions with the person named "Karen" ex. Karen, A networking technician.... noticed at least 20 or so questions like that.

WIll....what sims did you have? What was most of your test questions centered around?
Sims were, Building Wap, Match Connectors, Wiring Diagram and Switch after power outtage.
Use this dump and Prof Messers.
This was about 60% valid for me today. Not enough to pass by this alone.
I passed by studying the Network+ by Todd Lammle and then went through these questions.
Good luck to the rest of you who are going to write!
1. configuring antenna signal and encryption between 2 buildings
2. reset port switch after power failure
3. identify which tool to use given a report and assessing if cable is working or not
4. network troubleshooting methodology.
exam questions were from the dump, thankfully. I studied the examcram and this dump.
Sims I had:
Using this before the exam helped me realise which subjects I wasn't strong on (or in some cases, even aware of!), and so I could study accordingly.
Many thanks to the guys mentioning the sims. I was able to brush up on those subjects in time and so they were easier to deal with.
I got:
Enable/disable switch ports after power outage
Cable testing, then wiring config
WAP placements and encryption
Fibre connectors
Thanks again, and good luck to everyone.
4 SIMS:
1) configuring access points (in 2 buildings)
2) verifying whether a cable works and then wiring order of T568B
3) re-connecting of switching loop after crash and no internet
4) Drop down matching of troubleshooting methodology
Good luck to everyone
I take the test this friday and will share my results....
Thanks
question sets are differ for indian.
I saw a lot of questions similar to Lexxo's dump and I would say somewhere between 80-95%. Of course, it REALLY depends on your luck and thank god that I did some extra studying just to play it safe. Use this dump to your advantage but don't be afraid to study from the book as well.
Thanks man!
4 simulation 1. troubleshooting step 2. three switches disable cable 3. network tool , I think use cable certifier. 4. configurating wireless router the number two has bad configuration
valid to Pearson VUE!
Naw man, I've relied on this site for my Security+, A+, and 3 other MS certs. So I totally respect the dumps here. Just didn't remember seeing the questions. I'm taking my CCNA this thursday, hopefully i'll see many of the questions, not like my first Network+ attempt.
I just did the test $261 later, I can go and F**k myself to celebrate/ I passed.
hands on: cable certifier( cable doesn't work) then you'll have to wire it to the B standard.
Troubleshooting 7 steps, and last one was 3 wap in a building.
Dump help me to pass for sure, its 50%-60% valid.
Thank you for the heads up. I think its just a luck of a draw.
I'm taking my test in 3 to 5 days. I study 3 different dumps (2397 questions), I got todd lammles book and review guide and videos (CBT nuggets).
If you can post anything else that can help to pass, please do.
thanks.
4 SIMS:
1) configuring access points (in 2 buildings)
2) verifying whether a cable works and then wiring order of T568B
3) re-connecting of switching loop after crash and no internet
4) Drop down matching of troubleshooting methodology
1. What tool do you use to test the cable and does the cable work? (Cable certifier and no it doesn't work)
2. Wire T568B cable
3. Setup wifi in 2 buildings, choose the encryption type and antenna type
4. Identify fiber cables: ST, SC, FC, LC
Did N10-005 exam in February, only got 2 questions wrong, scored 88n out of 900. Only 3 - 5 questions not in the dump word-for-word but had differently worded questions.
Sims were setting up 3 WAPs & switch (mentioned in the comments), wiring T568B cable, and identifying fiber optic connections.
I answered with IDS logs, I could have been wrong, but I believe that was the best answer.
took the test 3/1/13 in America and passed with 784 but i work in this field and know a lot of it from experience.
-4 sim questions: 8 troubleshooting steps, wire T568B, setup wifi for 2 buildings, question about which tool to use (cable certifier I believe)
-80 multiple choice questions: no questions requiring me to calculate subnets which I expected to see
Did you just study this dump?
SIMS
1. Three APs. Same as the rest below.
2. Click to enable/disable ports on three switches. I believe the two connected ports/switches in the middle are creating a loop.
3. Troubleshooting steps, 8 drag & drop.
4. Cable problems, select correct tool TDR or cable certifier, answer a question, order the wires correctly into a RJ-45 connector - T568B.
i'm doing net+ first, but the A+, did you just do the dump and passed. I do have exerience for A+, I'm just wondring if i should even buy a book, or just do or buy the dumps for 601 and 602.
my performance questions:
1. Something stops working, order 7-8 steps you take to go about troubleshooting/fixing it. drag and drop
2. the AP one that people have talked about, configure the 2nd one change the channel etc.
3. three switches, disable/enable cables
4. the cable with 5/6 showing a short
Simulations were 568b arrangement, configure AP2 to channel 6 and set speed ect, and type of fiber connectors drag and drop =) goodluck all
Not a single question on the exam that wasn't included in this or Bawlsdeep's dump
Simulations:
3) Arrange Twisted Pair wires from T568A to T568B
2) 1 of three existing WAPs has been replaced and is causing troubles, reconfigure the WAPs to resolve the issue
3) Match the pictures of fiber connections to their names
In regards to the Lexxo exams i only revised the first 6 out of 8 exams, which on the exam consisted of a mixture from there, however the safest option would be to revise the whole 8 to guarantee yourself a pass and get a top mark. if you download lexxos papers and parafashion through the questions you may be ok, but the best thing would be to understand each question and answer for e.g. what the differences are between 802.11 technologies as you will get a random selection on your test day.
