However prepare OSPF Hotspot also (Hotspot Q's are concept oriented, scope to ask with different cases). Dont confuse with the security questions( like if you are tasked with designing the security for network questions from the dump). better to try the labs with stimulator before attempting the exam and you might know that if enable 2 type password is given then we have to type Switch>enable 2, to enable.
Stuff Prepared: Instructor notes, CBT Nuggets, TI V5.74 and www.certprepare.com. Minimum to pass is Dump & Certprepare.

Rest all questions from TI 5.74. I must say its really helpful and 100 valid except "BCMSN - LACP with STP Sim"
I just messed up that sim and took around 50-55 mins for that single simlet!!! phewwwwww
I want update you guys... b careful about LACP sim. I configured what was asked for but sim was very strange
On SwitchB "port range" command was not working. It was continuously giving Native VLAN mismatch errors even after correcting that!
Secondly no IP Address conig needed for SVI except for VLAN1. IP address is given in sim 192.168.x.x/24.
Need to check IP address of router. Set that IP as default gateway on both switches.
1. Created 3 VLANs and specified Names as in Sim
2. Configured interfaces in VLAN as mentioned (int range not working so added to config to int one by one)
Specify mode= Access and spanning-tree Portfast
3. LACP and etherchannel config as in Sim
4. Set Switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,21-23 : on both swithches etherchannel trunk port for selecting vlan update
5. Native Vlan mismatch: Switchport trunk native vlan 1,98 ==> Did not worked so got fed up and moved ahead to next question as running out of time
6. Set Switch B as root for all vlans without modifying stp and vtp config (This is req in Sim)
SwitchB(config)#spanning-tree vlan 1,21-23 root primary
Able to ping router as required!
On none of the sim's "Copy Run Start" worked but still got full marks.

There were no new simulation questions but the IPs used in the questions were different. I got I think 3 simulations:InterVlan routing, STP,and VTP. Carefully answer the simulation and hotspot questions.IPs and bridge IDs used may be different.TI5.74 is enough for now.
Could you please elaborate what simulations came in exam... anyone new??
Also I am referring TI v.5.74 227Q will that suffice?

Certified an hour back with 1000/1000. Happy that was able to correctly answer the new drag and drop question. The question was related to main requirements for implementing Vlans. There were 6 options and you need to select 4 correct Items. For many simulation saving the configuration to startup is not required but better to use the command.-

According to me , these dumps are valid and more accurate and the best one as compared to the 290Q dumps...
Also some friends reported they face issues in simulation questions.

I suggest prepare using Cisco Press's book and CBT & TrainSignal materials first, then a week before the exam review these questions in the dump and CertPrepare... By doing so, you are not only understanding the theory behind switching but also it is preparing you for CCIE... If you solely depend on these dump, I assure you that you will never pass the CCIE Lab!

Passed BCMSN 930

I passed BCMSN today with score of 930. Thanks H2P for the great preparation. Tools used Ciscopress, home lab and and H2P.
However there was a new simulation scenario as well with two switches, that the SW2 was in Server mode and the SW1 was in transparent mode.
Needed to configure fa0/3 and fa0/4 as trunk with dot1q between SW1 and SW2.
On SW2, it was asking to configure:
Fa0/9 - 10 on vlan 21
Fa0/11 - 12 on vlan 22
Fa0/13 - 14 on vlan 23
it was also asking to configure portfast in the interfaces and change from access mode as well to trunk with dot1q.
No vtp domain name was configured, and pruning needed to be enabled manual
Also when the lab finished, tried to do copy run start, or wr but didn't allowed me to use the commands.
Asked the examiner in the end, and informed me that from now it saves it automatic and there is no need to save it manual!!!
Either way i passed and now two to go Cheesy Thanks H2P.
P.S. there were several questions in vlan planning (like the procedures we follow, if we keep documentation, rollback guidelines, etc)

Thanks H2P - Passed with 941... As the previous poster states there a re a few on usage of VLANs etc and this new sim must be popular as I got it as well... need to configure LACP (non-cisco) etherchannel between two switches one side active, the other passive then configure a trunk over the port-channel 1 interface.... Watch out for duplex mismatches... Tricky one this one... I spent more time than I'd have liked on it to be honnest and had to rush the rest!... Now onto ISCW...

I passed BCMSN today with 930 score. Most of the question were from TestInside 5.74. I belive 4 or 5 questions were new for me which are not in TI 5.74.
2 Sims - LACP and STP - LACP lab is new
1 Hotspot - HSRP
2 Drag and Drop - 1 was new not in TI.
