I just passed this exam in Canada with 850/900. About 60% of these questions were on the test with slightly different wording. One thing I can suggest for those who are taking this test is to make sure you read the question carefully and choose the MOST correct answer.
Also, do not take the test if you don't understand why each of these answers are what they are. Use these dumps as a guide to help you focus on your understanding.
One thing to note about the grading scale is that there are some non-graded questions in the exam that do not affect your final results. I'm guessing there are 10 of these anonymous questions which would explain 900 instead of 1000 which would be 10 points per question with 100 questions.

I did exam during the week. About 40-50% of this dump was on the exam and the other 60% was common sense when you know the course material. I would use this as a study aid but I wouldnt just use this to pass the exam.

Dump 50% valid in Canada. If you use this (and any of the previous) dump as a study tool and not rely on it be 100% you will do fine. Combined with All-in-one CompTIA A+ by Mike Myers I scored 883/900.

I took this test this week and scraped through be the hair on my chin. I have not worked this level for ever but felt if I brushed up with this dump I could pass with no worries. "NOT" This dump got me back in the mind set of a IT Service Desk guy but it is far from identical to the test. I used almost every second of the test time but in the end was able to pass, no help from this dump I promise you. I also bought the ExamCram CompTIA A+ book and it was also worthless. Someone who passed with flying colors might want to describe their methods because this one isn't one of them. Good Luck This stands true for both 22-701 & 220-702.

Looks like these DUMPS are more valid in countries outside of the US. Is CompTIA just slow at updating the questions outside the USA?

Took the test a couple days ago. Only about 5 or so of the questions from this dump are on the test. I read an A+ book and studied and scored 870/900. There were a lot of tricky questions so I would highly suggest actually studying and only utilizing these DUMPS as a way to test yourself. If you find yourself scoring relatively high on them then I would think you will do alright. If you rely completely on the dumps and don't understand the concepts you will be completely screwed. I know if I had relied on the dump I would have failed completely. I have 5 years of IT experience and studied for this test a total of around 30 hours prior to taking it.

INVALID dump in S.A.....I wrote today and there were like 3-5 questions from the dump. I passed the test and know that I deserved to as I completed about 3 previous dumps and read up on other material as well. this has been said be4 and the test is no rocket science

Richard, it is my understanding that it is linear, but I havent taken it yet so I cant confirm that.
I did download this vce and have only taken test A so far and it is the first pre-test that I have done well one. A few questions that I got wrong seemed like the answer that was listed as correct was wrong.

So does anyone know if CompTIA uses Adaptive testing? Where when you get a question wrong in a specific subject area, that it keeps asking you harder questions in that area until you get so many right, and then it moves on to another area? Or is it completely random?
It seems the consensus is if you can pass the tests (A-K) and go through all 1027 questions and understand most of the material in it/score high (800+) then you most likely won't have any issues taking the 220-701 test, as from what I understand, most of the concepts/questions are in the same areas and very similar.
Am I right here?

Yes, the information for this test was updated in 2009. Thank God, because I don't know or want to know anything about Win2K or Win98. I took the test a couple days ago in the US, and every question was word for word from this dump. I scored an 875/900 (97%), and it took me 15 min to finish. The info is really basic, and if you scored that high Samuel, you are ready.

@Kirk - It's my understanding that these are actual test dumps that CompTIA use. So if they have a few tests with the same question that's why it shows up more than one time. (This is pure speculation)
@Samuel & Richard - You should be ready in my opinion. From what I heard, It's not a crazy hard test if you understand the concepts. The only hard part is the tricky wording on some of the questions.
@ James - (2009) is the CompTIA certification exam version. The previous version was updated in 2006 if I am not mistaken. They need to update it every once and a while considering the fact that technology changes.

Hey all, Just took the 220-701 test today and I would say maybe 10-15% of the questions from this dump are on the actual test. I did pass but would highly recommend using other study sources in addition to this.

I took the tests in this VCE and here are my scores. Most of the ones I got wrong were just tricky in regards to their wording. I missed I believe around 120/1027.
Test A = 850/1000
Test B = 840/1000
Test C = 890/1000
Test D = 920/1000
Test E = 930/1000
Test F = 810/1000
Test G = 920/1000
Test H = 890/1000
Test I = 930/1000
Test J = 860/1000
Test K = 852/1000

@Kirk - I have noticed that about 20% of the questions are duplicates. Out of the 1027 questions I only found about 10 or so that were actually wrong/incorrect. I have about 10 years of IT experience but am paranoid as certification tests tend to be tricky and I hate throwing away $168+ if CompTIA decides to throw a bunch of tricky questions.
The good news is that there are a few folks who have used the questions within this VCE and they state that most are identical or similar to those on the test. So if you know the basic concepts it would seem that you should do alright. As you only need a 675/900 to pass, which means you can miss around 25 questions out of 100 and still pass.

After going through all 1027 questions, I noticed that none of them matched up with the practice questions on Comptia's site. A lot of the questions in this dump repeat too. I swear I was asked the same question about VPNs about 50 times. Other people seem to be having luck with this though, so is it just incidental?

The wording was exactly the same. Every question was from this dump. Finished the test in about 15 minutes. Took the exam in the U.S.
The questions on this exam are very, very simple anyway. I've been messing with computers for several years just because I like to. I have come across almost all the information from this test over the years. If anyone finds this information challenging, I would recommend not taking the exam.

To Mason and Ravi: I have over 6 yrs hands on experience and I didn't realize how hard this exam would be. I have not attempted the exam yet, but I fail all of the practice ones. I find it difficult to memorize all of the acronyms, form factors and speeds. But I am confident in my job in actually doing the work. Plus in the "real" world if you don't know something you can look it up.

@ravi
There is nothing anyone here can do to help you pass. We can only give you advice on what you need to do next.
There is a reason why CompTIA suggests you have at least 500 hours of field or classroom experience before you attempt this test. It would be useless if you were to pass and not understand the concepts in the test. You would be cheating yourself and your future employer if you were to pass easily without knowing the subject matter.
Think of it this way: Do you feel comfortable going to work right now and doing this type of job effectively without any major help? If you answered no to that question then maybe you are just not ready to take this test yet.
My suggestion to you is to take a college or university course in order to get the hands on experience that will help you retain and understand the concepts on the test. You may even be able to get some books or do some online courses. However, you should really think about getting your hands dirty(hands on experience) so you have a point of reference to go on besides pure theory.
Good luck to you sir!
