Just walked through all 214 of the "VMware.Certifyme.VCP-310.v2009-05-24.by.Tom.214q.vce" questions, actually there's only about 40-50 quesions, rest is repetitions, many are wrongly formatted and about 5% are simply wrong (the answers I mean, I cross checked with the corresponding VMware documents)... doesn't really build trust in the files here :(

Passed with 92%! yeah!!! I am also in the process of becoming a VCI.

Advice I can give to people who are preparing the exam is to make sure you read through all the suggested PDF files the Blueprint suggested. It isn't called the "Blueprint" for no reason!!! It's kinda painful to go through the PDF files especially if you have done a lot of them in your job but I find it quite important to know all those little tiny details about everything. Trust me, it will be useful later on. I went through almost 30 PDF files page by page found on VMWare website and only to realize in the exam that it really helped.

Then i bought exam from certifyme just to go over what are the real questions in the exam. I could have passed without studying this much just from certifyme as they provide word to word real questions that you will see in th exam but first i studied so that i know what is really going on the real field.

I'm new user to this site so hello to everyone. I took the test in March and failed my score 66% so close but so far. I had...Pass4sure, Testcert, Actual Test, at my disposal and still failed this exam, I found that some of the test engines had the same question but different answers. Sods law the same questions that were contradicting them self’s came up in my exam….

1. Vcb can it be installed on a physical or virtual PC

Some test engines have different answers for this question on the VMware website it says only physical but then on a certified VMware web stream they say it can be on both…Did this cause me to lose marks?

Well I've passed the exam with 85%.

I've checked all of the survey questions with C, but I can say that abou 50-60 % of the questions were from this dump.

If you have some experience with ESX, and you attended the class (as I did), you can study this dump and ESX configuration maximums from vmware site (more that 10 questions out of 75 were from this document), and you should be fine.

Passed my exam yesterday i answered all the survey questions C as everyone else was saying up here and i would say about 94% came from certifyme. Aslo guys make sure you have hands on experience as you can pass the exam by cheating no problem but in the real world you are not going to last long. Just wanted to clarify some confused posters...

I bought certifyme dump about 2 months ago, and studied only from this dump (I have 2 years of experience with esx). I failed the exam with 69% and I must say that about 20-30% questions were from this dump. At the beginning of the test (survey) I have checked almost all of the questins as A and B. I honestly think that the test questions are generated from these survey questions.

I am again taking the exam next week a will use the advice posted on these boards and check all of the survey questions as C.

Wish me luck guys, I will report back on this board how it went.

@candygreen, i swear to god I was only trying to help those who are confused inside this thread... Anyway, yes this document covers 90% of the current questions. Answer C for all survey questions. Use google and other sites to update your knowings on the most recent added questions and verify faulty answers in the 214Q file. I took the exam past tuesday and only used those methods..

i think there were a few that were in the 381q bundle that were not in this one, but for the most part i used it because there were fewer errors in the file itself. I can't find it now, but it was the .exe file from CertifyMe, not a .VCE file.

Yes, i passed 92%. The questions/answers that were in the CertifyMe bundle were verbatim. There were several that were not covered. I used the 381q pack to study (fewer spelling mistakes, etc..)

hi guys i bought exam from certifyme. then i read the reviews here later on somebody said nothing came from pass4sure and certifyme. then i went and bought from testpassport as i read some questions came from that product.

These comments have created shit loads of confusion in my mind before i took the exam. Here is my conclusion testpassport is the worst product for your money that you can buy they barely got 10% of the exam questions from the exam. On other hand certifyme had 90% of the questions on the exam.

Now this i don't understand how all these comment say nothing came out of certifyme. Then how the hell i passed ? I think there is something fishi going on here. Some people don't want us to pass here. Because of these dumb asses i have lost my 109 dollars on testpassport.

I passed this exam last week. Here's my input:-

I used the certifyme from Dec08 381 questions together with the demo version of testpassport. Using these 2 there were only 23 questions that were new in the exam. If you search in the "I'm certified" section of the exam collection forum you will find some of the new questions listed together with some answers.

Out of the 75 questions you need 23 wrong answers to fail so you only need to find the some of the new questions to pass and to be honest they are not difficult questions - common sense I would say.

The questions in the above Tom vce are all included in the certifyme dec08. DON'T use the Tom vce as the pdf hasn't been imported correctly and a lot of the answers are incorrect or have been left blank

Remember to become VCP 3 certified you need to take the authorised Install & configure course before VMware will recognise your qualification (even if you take the exam). Also VI4 (sphere) is out now and new certification for this will start Aug 09. If you have the VCP-310 by this stage you have until end Dec09 to take the Sphere exam VI4 or otherwise you'll need to take the VI4 install & configure course before taking the exam.

I just passed my VCP with 76 percent and can tell you already that just learning certify,pass4sure etc is not really going to help if you dont use the PDF's from VMWARE .Most of the answers are wrong and all the data needed for the exam is in the PDF .I studies the pdf';s ,certifyme with 381 questions and pass4sure .When i got the exam they turned the questions totally around and half of it isnt in certify and pass4sure .All in the pdf located on the VMware website .Resource management and admin guide is one of the important ones to go through

After reading soo many posts here i got really confused i did not knew what to study and what not to because there were many posts saying they passed, many saying failed, not reliable, could be posted by certifyme staff etc etc.

I bought the VCP-310 exam from certifyme last friday. First i have to tell their payment processor sucks because you have to have a paypal account inorder to buy from them.
then i contacted them and ask whether there is a another way i can use my amex credit card.
they sent me the a direct link from paypal which allowed me to pay via credit card. After the payment was done i got my product.

There product had few spellings mistakes aslo the answer to questions number 88 is A and C
as screwdriver wrote. Aslo there were few questions repeating but i cannot remember exactly how many. I was kind of getting scared that i might failed the exam.

But then i went and took the exam on monday and surprisling every that i studied from certifyme material was exactly on the test. For me it was well worth it because i don;t care about spelling mistakes at the end of the day i only cared about passing the exam.

From my understanding the 214 pdf questions from the Tom VCE are only a subset of the questions contained in the certifyme testing engine version. I have the 381 certifyme Test engine from 24 Dec (itbhoy) but some of the questions from the 214 PDF are not in there.

So there must be an updated certifyme Test engine version. Screwdriver can you confirm if all the 214 questions were in your test engine version. If so can you upload it somewhere for us to have a look at.

I passed my exam today with 97% with certifyme vcp 310. Note: Everyone they update the exam very often so make sure you have the latest update
