Just passed the NCDA Cluster 8.2. There are some questions on overall ONTAP concepts but very few 8.1 questions. Some questions when they are fresh in my head:

- Protocols supported by the ONTAP System with Infinite volumes?
- Protocols supported by Infinite volumes
- Tool used to map ISCI initiators to LUNs?
- What happens when vserver vol0 is mirrored and the destination volume is promoted?
- Option to use configuring the LIF to be used for ISCSI?
- Maximum number of nodes supported by CN1610
- pNFS4.1 reduces traffic on which network? (Management, Cluster, Data etc).
- What is the minimum version of Command manager to manage ONTAP 8.2?
- Three Characterstics of FPolicy (Can be increased or decreased etc)
- Three new features supported by IPV6 in 8.2?
- What LIF's are required to be configured when using snapvault with in a VServer? (One of the options is no required additional LIF's but am not sure).
- With 8.2 QOS can be implemented at which levels? (Options: Vserver, Node, Cluster etc)
- To enable NDMP at VServer level in 8.2 which feature need to be enabled?
- What actions will lock the volume during snapshot?
- What do RSA do to send Autosupport logs?
- Which option is true about Single Node cluster?
- What is required when a 2 node switchless cluster is expanded to 4 nodes?
- What are the supported NetApp series in a cluster? (FASxxxx with FASxxxx etc)

I am happy to announce that I passed today with 82% studying these 154 questions (2 days only, not knowing a thing about NetApp). You need to correct the answers, but these are the exact questions in the exam, word to word. I only had 4 new questions, some people had 8-10 new questions. I think you will fail if you rely on these answers, but the good news is these are the real exam questions..Good Luck.

For the purpose of this exam, if it asks for minimum number of disks for RAID DP in 8.2 the answer is 5. Don't get caught up in confusing 'what if this or that'.

The minimum number of disks in a RAID-DP group is three: at least one data disk, one regular parity disk, and one double-parity (dParity) disk. However, for non-root aggregates with only one RAID group, you must have at least 5 disks (three data disks and two parity disks).

The minimum number of disks in a RAID4 group is two: at least one data disk and one parity disk.

There were about 1/2 8.2 questions when I took this last week. Further, check the release notes (90 pages) for 8.2 and saying there are only minor changes is nonsense, there are hundreds. Going back in there to retest today.. feeling about 50/50 I'll pass

@ UKID and anyone that doubts it. Trust me, the exam has changed as of August 30th. It contains many questions related to 8.2 that this dump does not include. If you solely study for the 8.1 version you will fail (unless you have experience using all of the new 8.2 features and/or guess well). The test is called Clustered Data ONTAP Administrator and it doesn't have 8.1 anywhere in the title. http://www.netapp.com/us/services-support/university/certifications/ncda.aspx..see for youself. Don't make people go fail the test because you think you know something you don't.

Some of the users are putting others off from taking this exam by stating that they have failed the exam and that the exam has changed. Checkout NetApp site at http://www.netapp.com/us/services-support/university/certifications/ncda.aspx it still says 8.1 Data Ontap. 8.2 was only released two months ago and why NetApp hasn't changed their site to reflect change in exam version.

This version is no longer valid. It appears as though they have recently updated to COT 8.2 questions and now only about 20% of these are valid, which means fail if this is your only study source.
