@Ser - Not sure how soon aftr 08 was released that you took your upgrade from 03 > 08. 2012 is still very recent, which may explain the lesser number of questions.
My advice => Instead of wasting time, you should get going with this exam and get your MCSA 2012, unless you want to wait for 1000 question dump again

here are just 137 questions, it looks small. It should be group of three exams 410, 411, 412 no? i am not sure. I did almost same exam MCSE 2003-> 2008, there were about thousand questions and it was a very hard exam. This one looks very simple. What do you think guys?

There are two paths available to get MCSA in Win server 2012.

Path 1:

Pre-requisites ( complete any 1 of 8 below ) :
MCSA: Windows Server 2008
MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008
MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
MCITP: Virtualization Administrator on Windows Server 2008 R2
MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator 2010
MCITP: Lync Server Administrator 2010
MCITP: SharePoint Administrator 2010
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7

Then go for MCP 70-417.

Path 2:

Complete 70-410, 70-411, 70-412 to get MCSA win server 2012 directly.

@Kusiawski: I am pretty sure you have to have the MCSA2008 certification before you can take this 70-417 upgrade exam. Instead, you will most likely have to take 70-410, 70-411, and 70-412 which are the three component tests for the MCSA 2012 certification.
