THIS IS BECAUSE THE BRIDGEHEAD SERVER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REPLICATION GOING BEYOUND A LINK. IT IS JUST A DESIGNATED SERVER BY KCC, WHICH RECEIVES ALL REPLICATIONS FOR THE DOMAIN AND DISTRIBUTES TO OTHER DCs. IT ALSO COLLECTS REPLICATIONS FROM OTHER DCS IN ITS DOMAIN AND SENDS FORWARD TO OTHER DOMAINS. SO IT WONT STOP THE REPLICATION FROM GOING BEYOND SITE A. WHAT WILL STOP IT IS TO MAKE THE LINK A NON-TRANSITIVE LINK, OR DISABLE BRIDGING.

if you have two sites, site A has 4 DCs and site B has only one DC, how would you force the DC in site B to replicate with only one DC in site A and not others. the ans is simple, make that DC in site A the bridge head server.

I DO NOT THINK THIS IS CORRECT. I THINK THE ANSWER SHOULD BE TO MAKE THE SITE LINK BETWEEN SITE B AND SITE A NON-TRANSITIVE LINK, SO THE REPLICATION DOESNT GO BEYOND SITE A . I READ THIS TWO DAYS AGO, AND I AM SURE ABOUT IT. DONT KNOW IF IT IS ONE OF THE ANSWER OPTIONS THOUGH.

I should remember everyone that there is new questions to consider for this Exam.. Dont be fools and memorize ipsis verbis.. Yes! This can take your burden of 70/80%.. if u are lucky, in some countries it could even contain 100% of the questions..
But u should be smart to consider also other options besides this one.. Two Virtual Machines always ready to test the anwser should be one of the options..

Do the Exam and be happy.. But u should remember that Certifications paths from vendors are focused in the HOW-TO-DO-THIS-BY ME.. they lack the KNOW-THIS-BY STANDARD!

Configure a Linux BOX and implement OpenLDAP.. Configure a Windows Server and implement AD DS.. and mix the Environment..
Bet u will learn more!.. Solaris, Linux, Microsoft.. who cares.. LDAP is LDAP.. Change the tools..The know-how is always there!!!.. U just have the learn the nuances and distinctions!

2. Another question is you have two OUs A & B and they both have 200 users each. Some users in OU A & B are members of a global group G. you have a GPO applied to the domain, how do you prevent the GPO from been applied to the global group but must be applied to everyone in the OUs. Two answers applied to be correct, one was create another child OU move the global group to the child OU and block inheritance, while another ans was adding the group to a restricted group in GPO. I choose restricted group since it made more sense but not sure.

3. Another question showed 2 tables one per company with diff versions of windows and their role. You are meant to migrate all users from one domain to another. Question was which of the servers in the table will u install ADMT 3.1?

@Alberto from Spain . The correct answer is Modify the schema in AD LDS. The reason is whenever you need to add or change anything related to an object class it has to be related to Schema.. All of you who want to give exam i would suggest prepare through CBT Nuggets video series. They're very gud and you dnt even need to read any books. Just watch the vidoes and study dumps you're sure to get an understanding of the subject

Is about when you execute a dcpromo /adprep or dcpromo /adforest and the DC who had fsmo fails, what we need to move
Also when the clients needs to find the time (PDC server)

To be honest guys, the exam is a little tough. I got like 30%-40% of questions from any of the dumps here but if you study the dump carefully and understand the reason for the answers, you should be fine but might be under pressure a bit. I got 850/1000. I cannot remember some of the questions but will try and guide you all to what you need to have at the back of your mind:

1. Got a question with diagram regarding three diff sites linked together in a triangular shape with site cost attached. When one site lost its AD server all the computers in that site authenticated using the main site AD servers. How wld you force the computers to authenticate through the other branch AD.

2. Got three same questions but slightly worded differently, all have same choice ans A-J listed but your ans on all the questions might be the same or diff.

3. Have at the back of your mind what a CA admin and Cert Manager can do in terms of Revoke cert or manage and issue cert. Also what u can do with a Cert Template console, Cert Authorization.

4. Question on steps taken to seize a fsmo role using ntfsutil, then type connect, then connect to server and you know the rest

5. Question on something to do with when users login to a desktop, they should be automatically added to the local admin gp and when they logoff they should be remove also.

Sorry, can't remember others but hope this helps. See you all in 642.

Hi! I'm studying this dump and I have a problem with a question:

You connect to Instance1 by using ADSI Edit. You run the Create Object wizard and you discover that there is no User object class. You need to ensure that you can create user objects in Instance1. Well, i just took the exam today, i did not pass. 663 over 1000. :(
Many questions are new, a lot of Certificates, weirds GPO configuration, ADMT, BPA powershell commands and audit advance configurations.
Less than 15 question are on the dumps.
