On the Server Role Selection page, select both Mailbox role and Client Access role. If this is the first Exchange 2013 server deployment in your organization, you will need to deploy both an Exchange 2013 Client Access Server and an Exchange 2013 Mailbox Server into the organization. Exchange 2013 is simply an authentication and proxy/redirection server. All data processing (including the execution of remote PowerShell cmdlets) occurs on the Mailbox server. You cannot manage your Exchange 2013 environment until you install both roles. The management tools are installed automatically when you install any other server role.

I know this has been discussed earlier, but I still have doubts about the question where message transport has to be prevented between two groups. The given answer says to use SMTPRejectMessageRejectStatusCode, but according to Exchange 2013 documentation examples for New-TransportRule, you should use RejectMessageEnhancedStatusCode. Here's the example from the documentation:

I think we have to create an OAB in NY site. After that, an arbitration mailbox. Because they says that "you need to ensure that the NY site users download the oab from a server in NY site" and they don't have it. So, we have to create a new one and a new arbitrarion mbx.
For me the right answer is B and C.
This makes sense?

Detroit and New York users have direct connection to the internet but not Chicago users.
It appears that via a Send Connector Chicago email is sent to New York mail server.
Given this then the spf txt record listing the New York mail server is correct (131.107.1.200) and there should not be any issues with the Chicago email
Once the planned changes have been implemented then the DNS txt record would have to accommodate the Detroit Mail server (EX3) (131.107.2.200) in order for the email to function correctly for Detroit users.
However the question relates to Chicago users not Detroit users.

You need to create an exclusion for two helpdesk RBAC groups
to not have access to managers.
Answer:
You will need to pick 3 powershell commands from the available choices

As we need to set deny access we want to set explicit recipcient filter scope for the existing helpdesk group, removing the managers from the scope. Then create a new RBAC group and implicit scope the managers mailboxes. So my guess would be something like

i dont see what new-mailbox cmdlet has anything to do with OAB. Command for creating new OAB is New-OfflineAddressBook, so for the other site we need to create the OAB and then use set-mailbox cmdlet to set the default OAB for the users. Even better would be to it for each mailbox database in the sites seperately but this answer isnt covered. so we would set it per recipient, see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996345(v=exchg.150).aspx

File Share Witness
Because the file share witness server is not an Exchange server some additional permissions are required. The Exchange Trusted Subsystem group in Active Directory must be added to the local Administrators group on the server.
If the witness server you specify isn't an Exchange 2013 or Exchange 2010 server, you must add the Exchange Trusted Subsystem universal security group to the local Administrators group on the witness server.

Still appropriate to guess that Server1 is a Server 2012 machine and not an exchange server.

In the context of the question given that we have only 3 choices and the anti-spam installation will take up 2 of these choices ,

Yr Network contains an internal network and network perimeter. you have EXchange server 2010 with edge transport named EX3 . you plan to upgrade the organization to ex 2013 and replace EX3 with EX6 (2013).
Is the first step really "Install the MailBox server role."? I was thinking it will be "Install The Client Access server role."

I'm afraid I did not really get my score. The screen displayed 700 or more. Or maybe I had really exactly 700.
I changed some answers (and possibly therefore I got only 700)

I passed on Monday.
New questions were about transport and ADS site links. I do not remember the questions in detail, but you should know about Set-adsitelink and -ExchangeCost (including message size) and site link bridging. Another point was storage and backup for mailbox server on virtual machine. And Workloadpolicy was covered heavily.

Failed with about 640 today after quite a bit of study. I found that most questions (80%) are from the dump but I suspect that a lot of the answers in the dump are wrong. The exam is also a bit of a mess, case studies followed by questions that don't relate at all to the case studies. A few questions that have set-transportservice set-transportserver and set-transportconfig commands, so make sure you know the difference.

I did review the content and I agreed with you, the Cert24 pdf is just another example of so many scams out there. The Cert24 copy the 91 Q and then added some old questions from Exchange 2010 just to make it look like they have the updated questions. The fact is whoever come with this idea was so clueless and had no basic knowledge of Exchange 2013. The Cert24 is just a scam.
