There is question about wha'ts needed to backup an Edge server, and backup and restore only the mnimum data. It says the answer is Perform a Full backup.
However, the book I read says that only export the ExportEdgeconfig.ps1 to a safe place and do a system state backup. Option A
Any thoughts?

Hey,

VALID - passed on the 22nd with 904/1000. Maybe 5-10 new questions which I've never seen before. Testlets were not that hard IMO. 50 questions + 2 testlets, 5 q each. I've studied hard from books, blogs, my own testlab. Used the dumps of MK and Isabella. Thanks for them (although there are a few wrong answers in those).

x rick from Sweden: no, there is 2 or 3 drag and drop question(part of the the few nwe questions).
1 question is like this:
In cooexistece scenario Exchange 2007/Exchange 2010, you must decommissioning Exchange 2007 servers on the internal network, not the Edge server that will be Exchange 2007. This is my response, i've choice 3 response of 5 and sorted them like this:
1) Make an Edge syncronization between new Exchange HUB 2010 and Exchange Edge 2007.
2) remove Exchange 2007 mailbox servers.
3) remove Exchange 2007 CAS server.

Anhoter drag and drop question is on the positioning of Exchange 2010 CAS rule servers, only remember that you must put CAS server on sites where are mailbox servers.

Passed this morning with 793. I'd used the MK +Isabella. Both are VALID, only 3 or 4 question was new and different.Tot 50q (1 hour, 30 minutes).
At the end of the 50 questions, starts 2 new testlets each with 5q's (15 minutes for each testlet). It possible that you appare fist the testlets and second the 50 question or first 1 testlet + 50q + 1 testlet.
The testlets are very difficult, because 15min are insufficient to understand the proposed scenario. The scenario contains lots of information, same are useful but a lot are not helpful to solving the issues that are proposed.
I think you shuold read first the 5 question and second find what they require.

Couldnt clear the exam. Failed with low score. There is testlets additionally with no time to get full understanding of questions. Dumps are outdated too with about 5% from it. Unless sound knowledge not there on exchange 2010, this is tough exam.

Hey all, took my second swing at this today was able to pass with a 756. The dumps from MK and Isabella are still a good part of the exam but for sure you need to do your own work and view either CBT Nuggets and Trainsignal videos to help flesh out your knowledge. In addition, read what you can of the Sybex book: Exchange Server 2010 Administration: Real World Skills for MCITP Certification and Beyond (Exams 70-662 and 70-663) or any other self-study stuff. Lastly, I have found a ton of great and relevant information in Tech Net that is incredibly test relevant. I know it is not nearly as fun or as easy as memorizing dumps, but it is hard to argue with the results(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/default.aspx). Enjoy and good luck to all!

I wrote the exam and failed with score of 615 something. Most toughest exam.

The questions are all new and hardly from MK & Isabels dumps. To add more craziness there is 2 testlets too which has just 15 min each. By the time we read the complete scenario there is no time to decide the answer. Defintely core knowledge on 2010 is needed on designing and deploying.

These dumps are not good enough. There is no 2nd shot too.

I failed today - but it was close - I agree the dumps help a little but there are many new questions. The testlets are difficult and they have a 15 min time limit. I personally found that the time allowed for the testlets was tight.

I Passed the exam with 812 .actually you will see no more than 10-15 questions from MK and Isabella on this exam.My Advise to Pass this exam is read the book of MS press " Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Best Practices" , Implement as much as you can on your lab and refer to technet and exchange team blog articles.Good luck for all

Failed the exam with score of 630. Only 5 or 6 questions from MK and Isabella. Dumps are outdated . Total 60 questions.

There is another 2 new Testlet scenarios of 10 questions and 15 minutes each too which adds more complexity. I think Microsoft has changed the complete exam pattern in this one.

I guess without knowledge on technet understanding, this is not possible to pass. Good luck.

I took the exam last week and I failed with about 650. The exam has changed in this area, maybe about 10q from this Dumbs. A nightmare test with 50q with testlets a drag and drop, followed by 2 scenarios with 5q each one, every scenario with 15minutes running. This material is not enough to pass the new exams but thanks.

Passed with 860 score. MK & Isabella is good. However, there are 2 sets of 5q which are time bound in the begining followed by 50q. These dumps help those 50 but not the first two sets. That part not covered in these dumps actually decides the fate.I would recommend www.msexchange.org for the experts already on Ex2k7.

Alright, so I failed. 640 or so. 2 new testlets each with 5q's (15 minutes) + 50q (1 hour, 30 minutes).

Each testlet present a case study and those questions are dealing with the same situation. They are pure design-related of companies where Contoso acquires another company and you are given a long-winded description with business needs, strategies, requirements, security compliances, environment (such as hardware), etc. They are quite tough and require on-field expertise. These questions do NOT appear in either of the dumps and they are really specific (neither the case studies appeared yet).

The other 50 questions are bearable. About 15-20 questions were from MK and Isabella's dumps. Few new questions that I've seen for the first time. However, what's important is that there were around 3-4 drag-n-drop questions, some design-related (you need to place CAS, etc. servers in their appropriate places within a given design), others are firewall ports-related (like IMAP, OWA, Anywhere, etc.). Others are design step-related where you need to sort the steps knowing their order to carry out a migration from legacy Exch to 2010. Aside from the old-fashioned questions and the drag-and-drop questions, I got also ~3-5 long questions with 8-10 answers.

It is hard and it seems like the 663 has went back to the "testlets"-based testing style and it would be super important to get those dumps. Summing these up, MK & Isabella are barely 30% and studying only those will not get you passed.

I wrote the exam today and passed with 756. It was a tough one.Total of 70 questions in 2 sections.

Section 1 contained 50 questions to choose the answers. From which 25 were new ones . And remaining 25 were from Isabels and MK.

Section 2 contained 2 Testlets scenarios.These are not there in any dumps.
Each testlet scenario was having 5 questions on how we can deploy exchange 2010 for two companies . Each testlet was of duration 15 minutes.

With only this dumps its not possible to pass. We need a good understanding to clear most of the new questions and also the 2 Testlets scenarios of 10 questions.

Glad i have got this exam cleared. All the best to others who are going to write.

I guess only 20 questions frm Isabella and MK's dumps. The rest all new questions.

We need an update dump to pass this exam. Isabella and MK's dump were really outdated in many countries.

Passed today in the United States with a score just below 900. Studied mainly this collection, but I did go through Isabella's once just to see what it was like. I had 55 questions, no drag and drop, no scenarios, just ordinary questions like the ones in this collection. In fact, I would say that 90% of the questions in my exam were in this collection.
This was a much harder exam than 70-662. Pay particular attention to the question. Small details will mess you up!

Both Mk, Isabella and other dump helped a lot. Not all questions are from the dump. But one thing is for sure if you all want to pass. Understand and research the answers. Even some of the testlets answers are all related to the dump one way or the other. Don't get scared by testlets, I think I passed because of Testlet.
Drag and drop is also some way related the some of the questions in the dump. Good luck everyone!

Not valid anymore in Myanmar, 20 to 30 questions from both Isabella and MK files out of 87 questions, I passed with 868 marks, I learned both Isabella and MK files and thks to them but exam questions changed a lot. There are a lot drag and drop questions and 14 testlest questions and they are totally new and quite difficult. So if you rely only dumps I hope not too sure to pass. Both Isabella and MK not include drag and drop questions.

Passed this morning with 796. I'd used the MK and Isabella sets, but got just around 50% of the questions from them. Had a total of 75 questions, 2 of which were testlets.

Each testlet consists of a scenario & 7 questions based on it, which you have to complete in about 24 minutes. Once you've reviewed the testlet's questions, you can't go back ---- something like the way it is in Cisco exams.

There were a lot of questions where you had to select multiple options from the list provided, so there's no clue as to how many could be right, which makes it rather tricky. Had a lot of drag-and-drop questions as well.

Although the dumps did help, I'll give most of the credit to the ebook I'd read before the exam. It was a gruelling 700 pages or so, the 1st part dedicated to 70-662, & the 2nd part to 70-663. I had also watched CBT vids some months back.

You stand a much better chance of getting through this if you've got some understanding of it. Good luck!

Passed. MK and Isabella helped quite a bit, about 50% of questions were on them, or similar to them, but what also helped was making notes on everything that I didn't understand and researching it all out myself. Also, the NBT Nugget videos helped too. And, VERY IMPORTANT, know all of the Management Role groups and exactly what they all do. I had a good 10 or so questions just on that alone. The test took over 2 hours for me to finish.

Sat this exam on Friday and passed.

I had two testlet questions, you get 25mins per testlet and have 7 questions to answer. You have to read lots of information and then answer the questions based on the information you have read.

I also had 76 other questions, which were broken doWn as follows:

15 drag and drop
20 questions with at least 9 options
The rest were the standard type

There were about 20ish questions from this dump, the other questions were based on the questions but re-worded.

Took the exam this morning and passed!! To confirm with everybody the exam is 87 questions. 2 Testlets with 7 questions each and 73 questions. I would say between 65-75% were out of MK and Isabella dumps for the 73 q's, with new questions thrown in the mix with drag drops type q&a. MK and Isabella did help me as well as understanding the design concepts! If you unsure about stuff research it!

passed today in the US. Exam is exactly like others are saying. There are 2 mini tests within the test (testlet) with 7 questions each. They are scenarios on companies acquiring other companies. The test was a lot more challenging than I was expecting, but I passed. Studied this dump, Isabella and the only real reason I passed, was having well over 10 years of Exchange experience. If you don't have experience, it will be very challenging.

Today i pass with score 868. Total 87 questions with 2 testlests. 1st testlests, a long scenario and came with 7 questions related to the scenario. 2nd testlests, came with 7 questions which is drag & drop and the rest of the normal questions is from MK and Isabella. Thanks to MK and Isabella.

Completely out date now in UK.

I don't think there were more than 10-12 questions from MK or Isabella's sheets in the 663 I sat today, very much a new exam.

Passed the Exam with a score of 868 in Australia. Thanks to MK and Isabella VCE which was really helpful. There were approx 85 questions in total. 10-15 of which were not on the MK and Isabella VCE. The answers on the actual exam order is not teh same as MK and Isabella so don't focus on the order to much. Good luck!

@John,

Sorry for replicating the pre-comment which made you confused.
I met 2 long infrastructure requirements with 7 question. It is very difficult to get the answer if you have little experience on EX2010 design and deployment. There are also many 'drag and drop' questions which are new but not very difficult. And also many new MCQ. With MK and Isabella's dump, I think you can do 66%. And the rest is all new questions. Sorry to sound like a newbie, but what do you mean by 'testlest'?

I'm trying to get my head around the fact there are 75 questions in this exam and 2 of them actually represent 14 questions!

passed exam today with 793 and had 2 case study at the beginn and afterwards 73 questions with many new questions (for most of these questions had drag and drop answers)
So you can't rely only in these dumps !

A bit of advice - know that ISA replacement is TMG and where to use CAS h/w load balancers. far too many of those questions.
