This dump has errors, 3-way mirror requires at least 5 drives, 3 way mirroring can tolerate the failure of two drives at once by design. This is the point of 3 way mirroring. To enable this, it must have at least (3+n)+2 drives. It becomes more efficient as n increases. The file in its entirety is stored on 3 of the five drives. As data is distributed in 256 MB blocks, you get an efficiency improvement, but need 5 drives to do it.
