The premium will HELP but you likely won't pass with it alone. I know I would not have passed with it alone and I HAD CASSP and 20 years IT experience

CISSP addict, The premium alone WILL *HELP* but it wont be enough by itself to pass. It will HELP. But it will not make you pass. You will need the premium AND a book. Not the premium by itself. But its a great helper tho. I know you have CISM but I do not have CISM so I don't know how much the 2 cross over in terms if knowledge. I'm told that CISSP covers a larger area of cyber security than CISM but I cant say that for a fact I have been told by 2 people who have both (CISM and CISSP) that CISSP touches on a lot more subject areas. So...take that for what its worth. CISSP is such a great great cert to have that u probably cant 'short cut' it too much. U are likely going to need a book to go along with the Premium. I used the premium when I studied for CISSP and I know for a 100% fact that I would have failed if I ONLY used the premium and I was already CASP qualified.

Hemu! you gon have to read a book to pass. Purchase the premium. But also purchase the Cybex book from amazon. Use the premium as a helper. But the test is NOT going to have the questions from the premium be word for word on the test. So you gon have to get the premium AND the book.

wanna be cissp what do you know about the CISM? I just took an online 50 question assessment and scored a 71%. I'm bouts to go ahead and get that cert lol. the questions were very close to cissp questions I'm thinking I only need bout 2 weeks of study. maybe 3 weeks since I like to be methodical.

Well done Cissp King, I am super proud of you. I will be re-taking my test middle of June. Thanks for the good advice and I agree Sybex book is great and I took it for granted. I felt real dumb not knowing Async vs sync ciphers which has been in every old exam prep since 2007!! LOL. Understand the premium and regular answers and you will do great. I have over 16 certs and a Masters and Cissp will be my last cert for a while possibly forever! Take care folks!

Joey it's a valid study aid. It's A GOOD valid STUDY aid actually, because it has 70% of the concepts you'll see on the exam. But you'll need to KNOW those concepts. The premium doesn't have word for word questions. Purchase the premium and purchase the Sybex book from amazon. Get a used copy. It's cheap.

Failed today with 640, premium helped and didn't look at free 2k questions. My fault for trying to cram my study notes and just relied on practice tests as a prep for the beast. I changed a bunch of my questions during review and that probably cost me. After 5 hours the questions start taking on a new meaning and you think you are thinking clearly now...Well you just fell into the Cissp trap where you start doubting yourself. I thought the test wasn't that hard, no super difficult long questions just tricky. Only a few questions stumped me (so I thought) that's why I got courageous and changed a bunch of my answer because I thought I had enough padding.
No OSI model and EAL for drag and drop those are give aways. Don't forget SCADA and know your DRP/BCE inside out (very heavy testing on that). If Cissp makes you nervous, I found the CASP to be super easy.

One stupid question from my exam today is what would cause DoS on a Authentication server?
1. hashing the audit log
2. encrypting the audit log
3. remote audit log
4. I can't rememeber

That question bugs the Stink out of me and I hope ISC see's that question now and throws it away from the test bank because that is a garbage question!! LOL.

There is no Braindump for this test. I downloaded every single one of them and they are all copied practice questions from CCCure. The questions can't be remembered because almost all the questions are long, drawn out scenarios. I passed the SCCP just to test if I was ready for the CISSP and I can't even remember a single question from that exam.

None of the braindumps, or VCE's match the test. I missed it by 12 points, and I knew everyone of 1300 questions. I would say one question was on the exam. The questions are more like scenario questions with two way off, and then two could be the answer. There was no questions about Orange book, transmission media, and OSI/TCI questions. Do learn about SDLC, threats to cell phones, Software as a Service, watermarks, CISSP ethics, layering in depth, least privilege, change control management.

Can anyone please care to explain why there are no brain dumps for cissp exam? I understand all questions not being available but some questions can be remembered by anyone and there are lots of breaks allowed. So why no one has posted any question at all?

Looks most the same, than erlier 2137 questions file by Amber. Not a very helpful for nowdays exam. Fallen today with 695 :(. Today CSSP mostly looks as CISM, almost none TECH questions (I can say 'none at all', f.e. question 'why ECC better than RSA for mobile' isn't pure tech question.
