Fall today with 695(sic!) from 700. From my opinion this is not good questionnary. 893q file looks better. Nothing about Orange book, some questions about cloud (on which I, possible fall) Very small questions amount about security models.

Globally now looks as CISM exam, which have ~660 rate instead of 700 for CISSP.

I passed on first attempt. If possible, do not use the ISC2 official book. Use Cybex or Microsoft book. The old books are still valid for new exam. The new domains were re-arranged with minor changes and old books are still good. Dont focus too much on US govt "orange book" stuff, but "testing criteria" has new focus now. After reading CISSP books for three times, yes, three times, then buy cccure practice exam, but dont buy their scenario based practice exam. BTW, hacker is scaring everyone too much, he sounds more like a phraker.

The new exam is 8 domains. I took it in May and failed with 677. The new version has been a pain for instructors and candidates as well. I don't think the release of the new version was planned/implemented very well. For the book, ISC already came out with a second edition of the new version in June because the first book was ridiculously flawed. This VCE is over a year old but I don't think ISC has written an entirely new curriculum for the new version so it should still be valuable as one of many study tools.

I apologize for the super late response. I've had family issues so I've been everywhere. But ok here are my tips, but as a disclaimer, don't judge me guys even if it sounds crazy ok? I'm really trying to help you the best that I can.

1) THINK LIKE A FREAKING CEO!!!!
-Most questions are going to have two great answers like this:

What is the purpose of a security policy?
A) To provide overall guidance from higher level leadership in regards to security
B) A policy that list all contingencies, thorough security mechanisms, security technologies, and what to do in the case of an emergency.

You're going to see that question on the test by the way ;) The answer is A, but if you remember this principle, then you will ACE EVERY FREAKING QUESTION! The questions are not technical, and they are not meant to be. There are great companies out there with CEOs that want to hire the best security person to help protect their dream come true. So answer the question on what you would expect from a security person from a CEO perspective. Sounds crazy, just do it and don't argue with me. The people that have the hardest time in this exam are technical security people like firewall admins, network security engineers, and so on. You need to think on a higher level, meaning a top management level. Got it? THINK LIKE A CEO!!! I actually wrote this on my sheet so when I got stuck on a question, I would look at my sheet and then I would think "Oh, well...what would a CEO answer?" And then I got the question right lol. I'm technical, but I had to throw it out of the window and let go of everything I thought I knew. Do the same ok?

2) 90% of the questions will have 2 completely ridiculous answers. So if you eliminate 2 out of the 4, then you are left with 2 right? That means you have a 50% chance of getting the question right. And if you use my technique of thinking like a CEO, trust me bros, you will get the question right.

3) There is a pool of questions, I found this out for real.
- All my life, I heard that CISSP doesn't have a pool of questions and therefore its impossible to create a VCE. FREAKING LIES!!!!! I can't tell you my sources, but I will tell you, they do have a pool a questions and its so dirty. how else will they deliver an exam? do you expect them to give each person a personalized test of personalized questions?? dont be ridiculous. Here's what they do:

The question first created in 2014:
What are the responsibilities to secure the network from a auditors role?

The question revised and added to the pool in 2015:
What are the responsibilities to secure the network from a security professional's role?

By the way, this is a real question but its part of a scenario. Pay attention ok?

Anyways, I will tell you again...PAY ATTENTION TO THE QUESTION!!!! Read very carefully because these [insert foul language here] people at ISC2 rewrite some (not all) of the questions every year and they will change one word in a sentence and then publish it for the test. Read carefully guys because you might read the answers and be like "OH I FOUND IT! This is definitively the right answer!" And then you get it wrong because you didn't pay attention to the key words.

The guy next to me had auditor, and I had security professional (Yes I looked at his screen lol).

4) TAKE A SHIT TON OF BREAKS OR YOUR BRAIN WILL GET EXHAUSTED!!
Guys you can take an unlimited amount of break within the 6 hours of the exam. I finished with an hour left, but trust me, I wasn't rushing and you shouldn't either. If you see a person get up and finish the exam in 3 hours....

Look at that poor soul, and say to yourself "That dude failed."

I'm a pretty smart guy and I've breezed through exams before, but this is the one exam that you should aim to finish last. Here's how you should do it

Do questions 1-50 and take a break. And then take a break every 25 questions after. And have your breaks last at least 10min. When you're on break, you're going to get antsy, be worried about the time, and want to go back in and get it over with. STOP WORRYING WHEN YOU ARE ON BREAK! You really need to decompress when you are on break so that way you pay attention to the questions.

Here is what will happen if you dont take a break:
1) Your brain will get exhausted and all you will focus on is getting through the exam instead of paying attention to the questions.
2) You will doubt your success, and be like "Fuck it, im just going to shoot through these because this sux"
3) You will fail like a n00b and when you go back to work and to your families, you will have to tell them you failed and everyone will be ashamed of you.

All because you didn't want to take some freaking breaks. Take the breaks people, you will need them. And laugh at the people that don't. End of story.

5) You will convince yourself that you failed no matter how well you are doing. There's no avoiding this.
I felt it.
Everyone else felt it.
Just continue to do your best no matter how bad it gets.

To be honest, I shouldn't have passed. But I did, thanks to God. If you're not religious, right now is a good time to start trying lol. One girl actually started crying, and another person went into depression, and went total silent and sat there doing nothing. it was weird. KEEP MOVING FORWARD NO MATTER WHAT!

6)Here is the most complicated portion because there are some technical questions...and they suck.
Do you know the difference between Asymmetric and Symmetric? Good!
Do you know about which one has non repudiation? Good!
Do you know the algorithms for both types of encryption? Good!

Because there is a question like this on an exam :)

You have a user that needs to encrypt a lot of data and send it to someone else. They also need to make sure it incorporates non-repudiation. What should be done?

I'm not going to give you the answer because you need to learn something here:

1) you need to learn about the topic(encryption for this instance)
2) then you need to learn about the pros and cons of that topic (such as which one is fast and which one isnt when dealing with a large amount of data with each type of encryption)
3) and then you need to come up with a technical solution

The test doesnt care if you know text book definitions or acronyms and crap. If you have flash cards, throw them away. It wants to make sure you actually know the topic, and can apply your knowledge to solve real world problems. That's what makes this exam so hard. And that's why you need to google and learn about every answer in this VCE.

You will need to learn. Just admit it to yourself.
Does it suck? Yes.
Is it hard? Um...ya bro there are only 95,700 CISSPs in the FREAKING WORLD!!!!! This isn't CompTIA.

Guys, I'm sorry to tell you, but you cant memorize answers for this test, and thats the truth. But the answers that they give you for the multiple choice are almost exactly like the ones in the real test. And the questions are VERY similar. But do you remember about what I said earlier about changing one word in the question? That's why they are similar and not exactly the same. You can memorize a question and answer in this VCE. But what if they change one word in that question that deserves a totally different answer!? You will be screwed royally.

What you have to do is learn about each of those answers for every question, and then figure out what the answer is for yourself. That way you become familiar with the concepts, and no matter what question the exam throws at you or how different it is, you will be knowledgeable enough to answer. There are questions in this VCE that are giving the wrong answer, so its pointless to memorize. Find the answer for yourself no matter what this VCE is telling you

My final piece of advice.....

Believe in yourself. This exam sucks but it can be conquered. You're going to feel like me and everyone else in that room, that you are failing. But little do you know you are actually passing. One of those four answers is correct, and believe in yourself that you can find the answer. You can do it guys, this test isn't impossible. You need to take it slow, believe in yourself, and don't let your brain control you. You're brain will get tired and tell you to hurry the f*** up. But you tell your brain to stfu and read the question carefully.

I'm giving you the honest 100% truth. You can do it, but it will require a bit of work. Luckily they crammed everything you need to learn about in this VCE. So good luck

Hello everyone,

As promised, I am following up to my review of these study questions.

1) They questions are VERY SIMILAR, but ARE NOT exactly the same.

2) The multiple choice answers are mostly the same from what you will see on the real exam.

3) Pay attention here: Noticed that I said ANSWERS meaning plural! This exam has the wrong answer listed for multiple questions. I'm not here to tell you which ones are right and wrong, because honestly, I don't get paid for this and it will take forever to sift through right answers and give explanations.

4) However I will tell you this: If read the questions, and google each of the answers and learn to find out which one is right, I guarantee that you will pass. I'm sorry guys, there is no VCE out there that I have seen that is exactly the same as the real thing, however if you take the time to learn the answers in this VCE and understand them, and you can then take that knowledge to answer the questions, then you will do fine, I promise.

In summary, this is the closest thing that I have seen that comes close to the real exam. If you would like some tips (and I mean really good tips) on how to ace this thing, let me know and I will write another post, otherwise I won't waste my time.

Greetings everyone, I am going through all the CISSP VCE's on this website to try and help everyone out. I just got my cert and now that I have seen the exam, I will be reviewing all of the study guides on the website and determine which ones are legitimate. Reminder: The new exam goes into effect in April which is next month, so that gives you 30 days to take your CISSP. Dear anyone who wants to get their CISSP and fails because the only tool they used to study it was a braindump: Thank you for supporting ISC(2) and making my exam cheaper because you're a fool and easily parted with your money.
Please, oh god, please keep downloading these braindumps and think you're going to get your CISSP by memorising a sheet of questions.
