I am going to give my honest review. I just passed my Sec+ May 17th and I used this (along with other materials) and i have to say this is good for a reference but as far as actual questions, i have to dislike it. the questions are good but when I took my exam it only have 3-4 out of 75 questions from this set. So i will say take it with a grain of salt and use other materials along with this to study. if you're looking to memorize questions, look elsewhere. Me personally, I didn't really like the questions.

I used this dump and passed in the US on April 24. I didn't see a single question from this on the exam though. They were similar questions so you have to use this a learning tool and NOT just memorize the questions.

I passed yesterday with 765. I used this dump, and a couple thousand questions from other dumps or sites. I only recognized 1 matching lab, and maybe 1 question from the resources I used. Don't expect to memorize questions, it doesn't work anymore. Learn the material. I read Daryl Gibsons Sy0-501 book and used his phone app, and practiced with dumps. Also, memorize the port numbers, used in many questions. Good luck.

Have found at least two obviously wrong answers. One for stenography, which is the method, but the question is asking what security goal is met, which is confidentiality. Another where biometrics has absolutely nothing to do with question, yet is the "correct" answer. If I can't trust the answers to be correct the dump is useless.

Over 1000 questions in this VCE and not one of them was on the actual test. The questions are nowhere near accurate for the SY0-401 test. Now the 501 is out, this is irrelevant now.

Wrote yesterday and passed! There is no such thing as valid dumps for this exam. The questions just help you to prepare and research further.
I read Darril Gibson and Sybex, practised with a lot of questions and simulations.
I read the books and understood the all the concepts and content in detail

I passed the S+ exam in May, make sure when you sit the exam: you have read 2 or 3 books, watch comptia videos by professor messer. do the drag and drops on the CDs with the books and finally practice the practice question.
Get use to the wording, that is what always trips me up with the questions.
IF you don't enjoy the learning don't do the subject
Take brakes
Eat well
plan your studies
Don't be afraid to cancel the exam
Get network friends and chat about security
drink water not coffee
eat fruit
Don't be afraid to be wrong
Set work goals
Changes job

As a rule of thumb....know the material. Don't rely on these dumps. They are good to get an idea of the questions you may see. I have seen too many dumps with that have incorrect answers to simple questions. My theory is that whoever produces the dump is actively trying to make anyone who relies on it fail. Watch your back...know the material....use these dumps only as a loose reference.....

Passed Today with 823/900 1st attempt. Got 5 performance based Questions in the exam, 2 of them were on this Dump with some details changed. The dumps by themselves are not valid to pass the exam, use them as practice questions.
Studied using Darril Gibson, Security+ Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-401 Study Guide, CompTIA Certmaster questions & our good old friend Google ;)

i nailed it, 10th of Feb! dumps are not useful here more especial for Security+, i used Derril Gibson GCGA book, Sybex Sec+ 6th edition, CBT Nuggets Videos, Techexams, CompTIA Certmaster & Google. These sources helped me a lot in passing Sec+ on 1st attempt. Hence it is the very best solid foundation which helps to build the confidence on higher cert like CISSP, CISM & CEH. I also enjoy helping people for free with objectives that people find it hard to understand. Self Study is Cheaper and faster way to pave your path in IT!!! CISSP you are the victim as i am heading up str8 to you!!!!

Passed today on my second attempt. Went from 692 in October to 803. There were about four sims on the exam and only one was on the dump. No multiple choice questions from the dump was on the exam. Select the appropriate attack type for each scenario such as spear pushing, whaling, vishing, phishing, and hoax. I used the CBT Nuggets course by Keith Barker to prepare and made sure I understood the questions and answers in this dump. Still a tough exam. Read the questions carefully for the key words and then eliminate two of the multiple choice answers that are obviously wrong.

Hi everyone, DUMP IS NOT VALID. Recently sat for the test and failed! I saw about four sims. One was on the dump but the others were not. Sim 1 match appropriate security devices with network diagram. Example AV to laptops ACL's to switch. Next an attacker is using a tablet to attack the company use the diagram to enter security devices to prevent the attack and name what kind of attack it is(simliar to the first sim without the attack.) Next they give you examples of producers done and they would like you to specify what type of Security controls are being used. Pretty hard test

Passed the exam today with 820. Only 73 questions with 2 performance based at the beginning. Configure firewall with 4 acl and match multifactor authenication. Some questions are pretty tough. Read good and have at least one studybook before doing the exam. Got 2 questions about saml and one about containers. Good luck!!

Just passed with a 799 today, Tuesday November the 8th. Studied the Premium 1756 question dump. All simulations were valid and on the exam. About 2 questions were similar on the exam. The scenarios given were very tricky. Try to blow through yhe sims and save all your time for the questions. Understand the concepts of all the topics in the dump and you will pass for sure.

Maybe only a handful of the questions from the dump were in the test, if even that many. BUT...the ones that contained explanations should help you learn the material. The first 7 questions or so on the exam were performance based, a few of those were definitely on the dump.

I passed with a 793 on 11/6, skipping one of the performance based questions. Read the questions CAREFULLY, one word can make one answer the "BEST" answer over another. I used the latest dump, Darril Gibson's CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead: SY0-401 Study Guide.

@KingOC Diamond Dave here. I've been absent for awhile, but I see my name still gets bounced around this site every now and then. You say we are "suppose(d) to share not charge each other". I hate to tell you this, but I've been concentrating on gathering Sec Simulations ever since they invented them. Using a variety of sources, including this site, I've gathered (and reverse-engineered when necessary) 29 of the Simulations found on the CompTIA SY0-401 Security exam. Now, after all that time and trouble, I'm not going to turn around and hand out free copies to everyone on the Internet that wants them. And I'm not going to try to get everyone on this site who is interested to leave their email address under the comments section. Most people don't want to leave their email addy on the Internet, and I don't want to try to keep track of everyone who may be interested. I don't have time to mess with all that anymore. If you want my 29 simulations, you are going to have to look for them yourself. A simple Google search of about three words will lead you to them fairly quickly. EvEn you should bay able to find them easily. So, I'll bet that even You can turn on your Tube and direct your favorite browser to something that has a bunch of Simulations for Sec . I don't know if you guys are a bunch of Millennials that think everything on the Internet should be free, or if you are just too cheap to pay for anything, but if you want the stuff I got, then you are going to have to pony up a few bucks. Or go without. Your Choice! I'll tell you something else kind of funny... I ran across a guy about 10 years ago that thought everything that he HEARD, should be free. Seriously, he thought that all "sounds" he heard should be free. He probably didn't have much luck convincing the ticket-takers at the Van Halen concerts that he should get in without charge! Why don't YOU spend a few years writing a bunch of software and then turn around and hand it all out free? NO? Not interested? Thought so... SMACK!

yesterday took exam and fail 675 score. i read book and dumb but questions was so poor and confusing you scratch head to understand what they mean by that. Honestly this exam mandatory and CompTIA did it special hard with all BS to anyone fail and pay again! It very expensive and no second chance retake until you pay. so just rubbers that all i can say about comptia.

I just passed. None of the questions in this bank are on the exam, but they were great study material. I had a simulation on attack types and a LOT of wireless security questions. I recommend studying DES/AES/3DES things like that, many questions on that. Also studying the official attack names and knowing exactly how each one works (spam, phishing, vishing, etc.). NONE of the dumps on this site are valid for the SYO-401 exam, no dumps anywhere are valid... I used transcender, made sure I was passing practice exam at 100%. I passed real exam, but barely..... I gave up on these dumps because when I tried using them, I noticed so many incorrect answers, it made them useless to me and would take too much time to correct. Also I did not see any questions on these dumps on the exam.

The 2-3 simulation questions in the beginning of the exam don't count towards your overall score. Just skip them. I passed with a perfect 900 using dumps from here 3 years ago and didn't answer the sims.

No of these are anywhere near the exam now.

Took last week and passed with study - 2 simulations.

1) Firewall rules to allow items to communicate between 3 subnets.

2) Review of Security Measures and removal of old/obsolete and replacement with newer.

I looked at every question of the Premium dump, collected all of the Sims from every dump, too. I've been studying for a month but I've been in I.T. for a long time. Passed today with an 810, but saw maybe 5 questions from the dumps. Very hard test, wording was awful on most questions. Studied Darrell Gibsons exams too, did CBT Nuggets and Professor Messer.

People listen up.. don't rely on dumps. Comptia is paying attention to these sites and change out the questions often, just read the question carefully. Most of the question is just filler, the real question lies at the start and the end. Trust me on this. I used Professor Messer and Darrill Gibson's book to pass. Good luck to all!

Took the exam and failed it. I didn't see any questions from this dump. Questions are hard and all of them are more than 3 lines. I got 2 sim. One was a server is infect by which attack so you had to drag and drop and second one was about classes and rules. I need to know if someone else has taken the test and can share a good dump. I even studied the one in Actualtest and no luck
