I just passed the exam with an 820. Dame that was tough because I studied 3 dumps and only 30 percent total of the questions are from ALL dumps combined. The dumps are only for the purpose of understanding why that Answers are right or wrong. If you try and remember the answers you are guaranteed to fail. I failed the first time and when I retested 2 weeks later 60 percent of questions where different ..Now having said that .Go for it DUDE!!

Hi all ! :-) this dump a really good one . Check out paolo too and don't just rely on the dumps . Be really good in your concepts because you can expect 40% of the questions from outside too. My method of preparation was training videos along with cert guide by David.L.Prowse. Darril Gibson would be fine too. Train Signal videos were exceptionally good . The instructor Paul Gadbois makes you feel very much at home and the whole experience was really awesome. My advise : DO NOT ATTEMPT THE EXAM WITHOUT READING SOME KIND OF A STUDY MATERIAL.

I just took the exam today, and I can say that 90% of the questions came from this dump. First of all, I would like to thank the creator of this dump. I think an even bigger thanks needs to go to the creator of this website. If you study these questions alone, I think there is a great chance that you pass. However, if you can pick up a book as well and/or check out Professor Messor videos on Security +, then you are even more sure to be golden on the questions that you haven't seen. I took the exam at a Pearson Vue testing center in the UK. It is a good feeling when you are already familiar with the questions and answers verbatim to this dump. I scored 880 out of a possible 900. With 750 a passing score, I was able to kill the exam today. Thanks again!!!

Took the exam 6-8-12
I saw about 70-75% and the rest was from "Download CompTIA.ActualTests.SY0-301.v2011-09-12.447q.vce" I would invest more of my time to go through this VCE and read the book then trying to go through 447 additional questions. Scored 894 / 900.
Do not bank on just this VCE especially if you got no IT background

Honestly like any CompTIA exam it's extremely easy you don't need to do these VCE's. It is mostly common sense lol "do you lock a door to your server room or don't you" lol. No wonder these certs don't have any real clout in the IT industry..

Passed today with an 862 (Prometric/Florida). Used the Danielsun and Jerry dumps plus Prof Messer, Security+ Fundamentals (Mark Ciampa) and Google. 75 questions were pretty much straight off those dumps (or close enough) and 25 were not. Do not just study the question/answers, use them as a guide as to what to study. Best way to study is to make sure you understand WHY the correct answer is the right one AND why the other answers are not. Good Luck.

Passed today morning 857/900 at prometrics in Georgia, usa.

I have no background with security+ and I was very nervous and anxious about this exam. I repeatedly went through this dump, went through all professor messors video, went through the dump once which has 477 questions which is from 2011 stressing myself on studying this material even in the weekends.And here is what I found out on the test today.

80 questions were word to word from this dump.
rest of the 20 questions were randomly picked from the old dump with CompTIA Actualtests SY0-301 v2011-09-09 by BigLee 477q.vce and from the practice exam CD which comes with CompTIA Security+ Deluxe Study Guide: SY0-301: Emmett Dulaney .

If you study this dump you will pass with 80% without doubt and if you want to get 100% then you might have to go through above things.

Passed today at a Vue testing center in NC with an 882.. This dump is spot on (maybe 70-80% of the test). I have an actualtest account for pdf's and this reflects the most up to date exam collection they have posted. This test was not all that difficult but you have to study. If you use professormesser and this you should be able to pass the exam no problems..

Method Description
Grandfather Father Son (GFS) The GFS rotation scheme identifies three categories of backup media:
o Son (daily). Son backups are rotated daily.
o Father (weekly). Father backups are rotated weekly. One daily backup each week becomes a Father backup.
o Grandfather (monthly). One weekly backup each week becomes a Grandfather backup.
For best results, keep track of how often each media gets used to prevent Son backup media from being reused constantly.
Tower of Hanoi Just like the game for which this rotation system was named, multiple tapes are rotated through a daily and weekly rotation schedule involving full and incremental/differential backups.
o Tower of Hanoi requires more tapes than GFS.
o This is a very complicated rotation scheme that will require a schedule for selecting the correct tapes and backup types to rotate through.
Round Robin Round robin uses a full backup on one day with incremental/differential backups on subsequent days. When all the tapes have been used for backup, you start over with the tape with the oldest data. Round robin is probably the simplest of backup rotation schemes.

I took the 100 practice test questions on the Comptia Security+ website and the questions seemed rather wordy and involved??? Just curious if those are the types of questions on the actual exam? For 1 minute per question on the actual test, I would think the questions would be straight forward and to the point.

I attended a boot camp and studied the heck out of this dump before I took the test yesterday. For me, there were about 5 to 10 word for word matches, 59 (I kept track) brand new questions, and the rest were significantly reworded.

Since the fundamentals haven't changed, if you are well prepared, you shouldn't have much trouble. I passed in the high 800's, but I took most of the time alloted.

Hints:
Know your ports!
Know what "Tower of Hanoi" and "Grandfather, Father, Son" represent.

2vladi72 - the right answer is "D" - Network mapper also a port scanner can identify running services but here it's not an option and if it would be - it's not the BEST one because it can't determine the topology and draw a map of your network. Only Network mapper can.

Watched Pr.Messer videos, and bought MesureUp which was really a good l study material! I liked a lot. It has explanations of every single thing! would recommend alot. dummies do not explain anything, so u just memorize and then forget, but if you wanna study get something like Transcender or MeruseUp.
And I would say that Danielsen and this dummi are same with 2-3 questions difference.

Comptia Security+ exam is not as easy as Orcale or CCNA. However it is not a very deep exam as CISSP. what is required is general familiarity with information security tools and concepts.

Don't take the test unless you are a real information security practitioner or student in a related field because very few questions comes directly. Even if you buy question/answer materials from Pass4sure. so don't be fooled by the money back guarantee & just buying a dump and then rely totally on it.

Try to understand every objective while you are studying for the exam

i wouldn't just study this guide, i would use the netbel guide as well. if you want further practice, there is another quide listed that danilusn uploaded and that had questions to some of the ones that were on my exam. also, read all of the questions that have been posted by other test takers. i got almost everyone of them on my exam and having been familiar with them, i believe that really helped me. get a book to study as well, i use the exam cram by the sybex books are good too. this is not going to be an easy exam, this was one of the toughest exams i have taken to take and this was my 6 certification exam.

Passed today with 829.

In order to achieve this, I worked out multiple dumps including this one, read sybex, read study guide, spent alot of days reading like a monkey.

Please study hard guy, frankly speaking , this exam is extremely difficult as hell, when I finished I was 100% assure that I failed and felt so bad during the exam because every next question I see is more difficult than the next. I even hit the end exam button without doing revision.

Took this exam yesterday scored 840/900. not very easy, you need to study, I used the sybex book, professor messer vid, this dump and JTDion but most questions for me came off the JTDion dump.

Note: know your algorithms and try to use all 90 mins to do the exam and double answers.

I passed earlier this week. I would say about 80%-90% of the exam questions were from this dump. There were only a few questions I didn't recognize from any dump I practiced with. Unfortunately I don't remember any of them atm since the exam felt so easy.

The 445 JK0-018 dump is very similar to this one (the questions I had were in both dumps) just a lot more questions to study with. For those wondering, I took the exam at a Pearson Vue center in the US.

Study suggestions: Watch Prof Messer while testing your self on and off again with the 445 JK0-018 and the 293 SY0-301 Netbel. When done with the vids and tests, study these 293 Pass4Sures til you know them. Pass without fear.

i knew someone was going to ask that, i was thinking about that while going through the questions. of the 12 questions, there were three that were not in any of the guides that came up, they are the following questions, i am just going to summerize them, can't remember the full questions:

you are at a remote site and want to block telnet

how do you calculate mean time to restore

where would you look for a bad process (i can't remember the question, but those are the choices)
bios, slack space, root kit ram

all of the other questions i had could be found in this guide and the netbel guide. hope that helps.

Just passed with 809. Exam not as easy though. Bits of questions from various dumps but this dump had the most, about 20 questions not word for word. Used this dump and Netbel. Study the dumps and cross reference instead of craming and use other material if you have

Just took the test this morning got a 829 at a Prometric test site. I had at least 15 questions word for word out of this dump, and another 10 question worded a little different.

morning,

i took and passed the exam this morning. i used a prometric testing center in florida. this study guide helped, i had about 10 - 15 questions from this guide and about another 5 or so from the netbal quide. what was more helpful were the lose questions posted on the different guide. i had almost all of them in one form or another. most of the questions i had that were not anywhere to be found were variations of the questions that can be found in the guides. i do remember the following questions:

how do you calculate mean time to restore

you want to block telnet port for remote sites, which default setting would use? (something like this)
blocking port 23 on the layer 2 switch
blocking port 23 on the network firewall
the other two answers were totally pointless.

if i think of more i will post them, feel free to post back and ask questions, i will check in for the next few days and try and answer them.
