This dump had a few questions that were similar, and the dump by Danielsun as well. However, the questions are based on the concepts. DO NOT rely on these dumps to get a pass, you need to study. I used the Sybex Security+ Certification kit and watched Professor Messer videos, that is what got me the big 'P'.

I did not have any questions that were exactly as in this dump. Although some were similar.

I studied using training videos/eBooks. Doing the dumps alone will not help you pass.

The exam is very tricky. Read the questions very carefully, there is a lot of time allotted for the exam so you shouldn't run out of time.

Just took the exam this morning, with Pearson. These practice exams do NO justice of the actual exam, because I'm assuming they changed it a lot, because of these preps. You NEED to understand all the concepts and how to apply them, to the material.While many of the names were the same, there was probably about 10 questions that I got on the exam that were very close to this exam, and Ive done all 3 tests, multiple times. Do yourself a favor and actually know the material. Do not trust this to pass, because you wont.

This dump is still valid took the test today 18 OCT and made an 816/900. About 60% of the questions from the dump. If you study the question content and understand why the answer is such you will have no problem taking this exam. If you just memorize question and answer you will probably not pass.

I had been using VTE.Cert's SY0-301 prep exam for the last month to study for the Security+. This morning I downloaded this prep exam and only got through 100 questions before I had to leave and take my test. About 1% of the exam questions were from the VTE.Cert exam. About 80% of the questions were from THIS Prep Exam! I only went through 100 of the 500+ questions and I ended up PASSING with a 790 out of 900!!! I'm glad I passed, but had I actually used this exam prep originally, then I would have had a higher score for sure! The exam even used the same names in the scenarios like "Matt" "Pete" and "Sue". Anyhow, good luck to you all!!

I have the same question as Monty. Can anyone vouch for this dump as a legitimate study file? I am taking the test next Thursday, I studied off of Eman's dump for my network+ and passed. However, I am seeing that the latest post for these dumps are a couple months old. Does security+ test not update as fast? You'll have to buy it, that's what I did after spending days to find a link for it. The problem is, it's for kindle devices or Kindle PC. You can convert it to PDF afterwards but it going to look crappy and you will get only half of the original page per converted page which is not good at all for printing. So, spend 10 buck for the Kindle PC version and stop wasting your time.

THe wording on these exams are SIMILAR to these dumps. Took the test two days ago and passed, not a single question from this dump was on the exam, but things SIMILAR to it were. If I hadn't of watched professer messer videos and took notes, then reviewed the notes, I would have failed.

Yes I know lol. I have been studying very hard to get certifications because the actual problem is that I have NO experience in the field aside from an internship. I want to find a job so the certifications should help. I read Darril Gibson's book. Trust me. If you want to pass Security+, get that book. Very cheap on amazon. Everything on the exam is on that book. I used only this dump. I did 100 question tests of random questions off this dump and I did it 10 times. I took the test right after and got 860.

Pass with a 765, not great but i passed. I should of studied these more. This dump is still vaild. I did not studied the entire dump and I believe if I did I would of gotten a higher score. I also had a four day class last week. Don't just study these dumps know concepts and you will do find. The new questions I gotten were about cloud computing and I believe those were the ones they don't count. So look foward to seeing them in the future.

Passed the exam this morning, saw around 30-40% from eman and PAOLO dumps, and a lot of reworded questions.

As long as you understand the concept in each question of these dumps, you will do fine. The questions on EAP, LEAP, CHAP, MSCHAP, PEAP were kind of confusing.

I used Professor Messer and eman/PAOLO dumps here to prepare.

I saw your blog below and you did not get a passing score. Please let me recommend a course of action (COA). Do not put a lot of effort like you did studying the PAOLO dump and all other dumps. Focus your efforts Professor's Messner's video. The PAOLO dump is a good study guide, but the video provides you with the concept, and that the main point on the Security + test, the concept. I pass the test by looking at the video and understanding the concept. I agree w/you, only a few questions came from this dump, but what got the the P in the colum for me was the video. The concept is the key. Review the video.

You will pass the next time around the track.

Well IT folks, study, study and study the Security plus concepts from Professor Messner's video. It was about 10-15 questions from this dump and the rest were reorgainized. But if you understand the concept, you can choose the right answer. It was TOUGH, but I managed to put the Pass in the column this morning with the help of the video. Even though I had classroom training and this was a career change for me to become certified in (A+, Net + and Sec +) after 31 years of retired commission service (Army Colonel). Let me tell you, if you have not taken the test. Again, study the concepts of Professor's Messner's video. This dump is for study purposes ONLY. Do not rely on the dump to pass the test. As someone else said above, you will fail.

I'm officially certified in these areas.

I just passed the exam with an 820. Dame that was tough because I studied 3 dumps and only 30 percent total of the questions are from ALL dumps combined. The dumps are only for the purpose of understanding why that Answers are right or wrong. If you try and remember the answers you are guaranteed to fail. I failed the first time and when I retested 2 weeks later 60 percent of questions where different ..Now having said that .Go for it DUDE!!

Passed today 890/900. At least 30% of questions not in dumps and were new to me. Used two VCE's - PAOLO above, and BigLee.477Q, also Pearson Premium Practice test. Be careful with dumps as there are wrong answers. I used CompTIA Security+ SY0-301 Authorized Cert Guide - David L. Prowse (better for passing test and easier reading) and All-in-1 / CompTIA Security+ All-in-One Exam Guide, 3rd Ed./ White / (better for really knowing what you are doing). Don't just memorize the dumps as you will fail twice, once in learning the material and once that costs you $ 276.00.

Took exam on the July 23, passed with 860. However, only about 10-15 questions from this dump were identical. All other questions were written in a completely different writing style, ext.
MAKE SURE you know the concepts and understand why you answered a question the way you did on this dump and you will pass.
I'm am NOT an IT person but had to take this because I work as a contractor for the military. I would suggest a 3 fold strategy for any other non-IT folks out there.
1) Memorize the tests answers first until you consistently pass with a high score. Just memorization here. Trust me, after awhile you will understand why the answer is what it is.
2) Any questions you don't understand WHY the answer was what it was. Do research with books, wikepedia (awesome site for IT knowledge and trying to grasp concepts. Take a class. I did.
3) This one is the most important. Mark key words in each question because the key words are usually used on the test even though the question is asked a completely different way. If you understand the concept you will KNOW if the answer is really something different than what was on this exam.
I spent 3 weeks just doing tests every night and the last week spent researching concepts I did not quite grasp. Some answers ARE WRONG on this dump but you will only know that if you do your research.

I passed the exam this week (without giving my exact score, it was above 850) - did test prep over the weekend exclusively with this dump, although I do have experience in the field, I wanted to go over the style of questions.

My experience was that my exam had 60-70% of the questions in the dump. Given recent comments, I was *very* shocked by how many questions were on the exam. There were definitely new questions, but if you know the concepts, the additional questions are pretty easy. The biggest thing that I found with this test, it's often much easier to come up with the 3 WRONG answers than the right answer off the bat. A number of the questions there were 2 or 3 blatently wrong answers that were pretty easy to identify. Of the Microsoft, Cisco, and other CompTIA exams, this is the first exam that I have ever found it easier to eliminate wrong answers than identify the correct one.

Passed today but it was tough. The dump is 30% valid. As someone else mentioned, of the 30% I would say half were reworded. I studied for a week using only this dump and all of the Prof. Messer videos. When I was studying and ran across a question I didn't know the answer to, I would find the video pertaining to that topic and perform additional research. This helped me retain the information from the vce. Good luck!

Studied this dump And the one from Jerry. Roughly 30% to 40% came from these dumps. I hadn't seen a good portion of the questions before at all. I passed because I studied Darryl Gibsons book thoroughly and knew the concepts. The main reason I chose this dump and Jerry's dump is because people I work with had just finished a Sec+ boot camp and said 95% of the question came from both of these dumps. I passed with an 854 but mainly because I studied hard. Don't just rely on the dumps because you can get blind sided by random and new questions.

I studied Darril's book thoroughly, did all the practice quizzes and exams in his book and am doing well with it. I studied SY0-201 exams on other sites and came to this dumps site last and have been studying this one the most. I hope I pass with a really high score. I don't use the exam dumps to cheat, I study what I miss in these in the book and using google and web site resources to make sure I fully understand the answer to the question. Some of the answers in some of these dumps are incorrect and I will use that knowledge on the test. If you study these and use all the answers EXACT as in these I gurantee you will get some wrong. There are just a few answers that are incorrect in all of the practice exams I have found on this site which may be why some of you are failing by 20 points. Someone needs to become an editor and fix some of these.

I tested today and scored a 877/900. Dump is still valid but make sure you watch the Professor Messer videos. There was about 10 new questions or questions that where worded different.

This dump is about 85% valid. Counted at least 15 new questions. Scored a 892 studying this majority of the time for a week and a half. Study this you should pass.

Dion, you were pretty accurate with the 75% test questions similar to pretest questions. Took it today for the second time and I surprisingly scored 857! I failed the first exam with a 699 having study the questions i was given from the Sec+ class I took. Obviously their pretest software was outdated! Study the questions from PAOLO. If you are one of those that needs to know why the answers are what they are, study the book.

Took the test on June 22, passing with 808/900. Hey I only put in maybe 10 hours of studying.
CompTia has a racket going, don't they? They invent this "Certification", then charge $275 USD to take the test, then what do you get for it? A .pdf cert to satisfy your organizations security department, showing you are aware of general security concepts. Ridiculousness. I would never use an exam dump to learn something I'm responsible for actually being able to implement, but in this case it's just a "check the box".

I wrote my Exam yesterday (18-06-2012) and passed my exam with 857 marks. I've used this dump (Paulo), Danielusn, cole and Netbel dumps, together with Professor Messer Video and (I didnt use S+ book).. It only took me two weeks
