Don't even bother with this dump. I barely passed today using this one and the more extensive one with 1039 questions. Only a few came from this particular dump. I had to use information from parts of questions to formulate a logical answer. I only had a few labs one of which was the firewall one in this dump. The other is one I've never seen involving removing redundant authentication protocols for physical entry while maintaining 3-factor authentication and retina scanners. Good luck.

The days of simply cramming VCE dumps for the Security+ test are over. Took the SYO-401 test two weeks ago, barely passed with 805. 68 questions, of which only around 12 were partially included in this VCE. Many re-worded to throw off the data crammers that memorize the answers without closely reading the question (e.g. whitelisting vs blacklisting, for example). First 10 questions hardcore simulation-style questions that the VCE test engine is not really capable of replicating correctly. And the test is weighted so you can't just ignore or "best guess" the simulations and still hope to pass on the multiple choice questions alone. Good luck all.

Pass the Exam last week . I went through all these dumbs and none of them are good. Gibsons book is why i passed. the dumbs helped to prepare but thats it. Just wanted you to know. and for me with a lot of studying i felt it was very difficult. questions are very long and 2 of the sims were tough.

Frank - you BUY Gibson's book. It's the BEST. You watch Messer's videos, and get DAVE's stuff that includes Messers notes free. Or you can go buy them from the Professor himself.

Just to be clear these dumps are not valid.

It took me three attempts to pass.

In the end I needed to read several books including Sybex by Emmett Dulaney, McGraw-Hill by Glen E. Clark (possible the best of the bunch) and Get Certified by Darril Gibsons.
In addition I watched the CBT nugget series, very good easy to watch but does skip over some important topics and in other areas goes in to great detail. The combination of these materials gave me a strong foundation to pass the exam on the third attempt.

What was surprising was the complexity of the questions, most where well over a paragraph of detailed information spanning several concepts. You really have to know how these concepts are applied in the real world to stand any chance of passing. Whereas these dumps are nothing more than flashcards which will help you remember facts but not understand how to answer the exam questions unless you know the subject matter well and how it all interconnects.

Passed today with a score of 870
These dumb's are no good.
Comptia have increased the skill level of there exams to compensate for the high pass rate from last year. The questions are more in-depth. No longer a simple sentance you will have to have to able to take several concepts and apply them to question. The sims need to to know have to set up a network with ip addresses subnetting and configure the firewall,DHCP,DNS, RADIUS server so that they will communicate over several VLANs with all the right EAP KDC and certificates.

Its not easy these questions are just to basic now to give you a chance of passing. Get a good simulator package and dig deep into the EAP wifi protocols and wireshark for trouble shooting.

I sat for the exam this week and passed I've scanned through about 400 questions in this dump, and none of them were on my test, so I wouldn't rely solely on this if I were you. It's good to help identify your weaknesses, but you should incorporate some other study materials. That being said, two of the six simulations I had on my exam are in this dump.

Hi, I have passed the exam today :) and would highly recommend to prepare yourself using Darril Gibson's book - it is really one of the best. As per this dump - SANFORD, I would recommend it as well, since it has some of the questions asked in the exam. But for sure you have to study and learn the material and use this dump only to practice and check where are your weaknesses. Good luck.

NOT VALID! IF YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING TO PASS THIS TEST BY USING THESE DUMPS YOU WILL FAIL. Your best bet is to use this as a study guide, but by no means expect to pass just by memorizing. Look at the exam objectives point by point and be comfortable with all of them. This test is much harder than it used to be.

I took the exam yesterday and I got a 801 score. I had about 4 simulations. I didn't use a test dump. I used David Prowse's book. I also used Darrell Gibson book, App, and website. You have to study and understand the concepts. There is NO guarantee any "Test Dump" will be the exact test. The time spent begging someone for a testdump that may not be accurate the day you take the exam is a waste of time and effort. That time could be spent reading the books or looking at cbt nuggets. In addition to that you will be education yourself about security. Gook luck in the future.

So, Let me first say I took the test to Renew my Certifications. I passed with an 823 and only studied this VCE and the Ron & Gandalf PDFs on VCE plus (free) I will say if you are looking for word for word questions none of these are for you. I recognized maybe 5 total. I got my Sec+ during the sy0-301 and I can say this one was significantly different, but not really difficult. My advice is to know your stuff. If you don't know it and still pass, you will still have a hard time with your job search. When I did interviews I was asked technical questions and pretty much every single one. All that said, This is a very good practice VCE to verify strengths and weaknesses and advise it's use as such.

If you actually passed this exam, and have something "valuable to say", why don't you go into the specifics of the SIMS you encountered. Just passed my test today. Used this the Ethan's from the SY0-401 and Helga on the JK0-022(which I thought was the best one truthfully). I also did examcompass.com and a few other freebie sites for practicing. I could not have passed on this one alone. One of the sims took a long time. Another one I am sure I got completely wrong because I hadn't seen one like it. Good luck all!

It makes me sad as some others pointed out that this website is now filled with tons of people posting their email address in hopes someone sends the latest dump. Stop posting your email! no one sits here and personally responds to every email requested. You are just making this site go down the drain. Only post comments if you have something valuable to say.

I took the Security+ test on November 28th 2015 and I passed. This dump is not really valid anymore. Only about 2 - 5 questions were in the dump. However the Performance questions are still valid. There are a few performance questions that were not on this dump. Moral of the story, use this dump to help you study the concepts of the test, but dont count on the questions being the same.

I would suggest using CBT nugget videos and Darril Gibson Security+ book to help you study over this material.

@Jose, you have to log in to use the software so you'll have to purchase a subscription, anyway. My recommendation is to study, then a few weeks before exam day, purchase the software to practice and find out where your weaknesses are.

@Ivan - everybody wants everything for free. I crushed this exam using the stuff from Dave, and others, but I'm not going to turn around and start handing out all the stuff I paid for. There is so much money that can be made in the IT Security industry, I can't imagine why people would beg for free material on this site FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS! I just landed a $50,000 job. Tony - This whole thing has turned into a feeding frenzy. I'm no longer going to take more and more time out of my day to provide handouts to these paper-tech wannabe's. These are not the kind of people I want working for me, and I don't think that these are the kind of people that you turn out either. If you want to take time out of your day to service all these requests for "something for nothing", then go for it. If they were serious about actually learning the information, they would buy a couple of books and actually study them. And if they were really serious about this Cert, they would have grabbed my stuff months ago and already passed the exam by now.
