They are correct!!

The Test consists of 10 ESD Questions, 5 questions are "ESD Precautions" and 5 are "Technician Safety". If you answer even 1 wrong you fail the test.

I missed an "Identifying Accidental Damage" question.

Filed yesterday I got 97 with only 2 two wrong answers but according to them it was on the technician safety exam section which is ridiculous nobody told me about that.... I will contact Prometric today and make a complain about it....63 right answers and only two wrong and they are telling me that I failed the exam!!!

This exam is still valid, I scored 97% a few days ago. I found that the 9L0-009 had more of the questions for this exam. At the end of the day it would be worth studying both the 9L0-009 & 9L0-010 for this exam.

Hi JS. Before you click 'Launch Test', there are details regarding the exam, in which you have to pass ESD and technician safety. So you have to get at least 4 out of 5 in these two sections. They have labelled the questions with different headings, so you must pay extra attention to those questions. Since 4/5*100% = 80%, if you just got 3/5, which just 60%, less than the passing mark 73%.

I took the exam in the Apple authorised Training centre in London, which using Prometric. I have re-taken the exam yesterday and got passed. I definitely sure that there are quite a number of ESD and technician safety questions. If you are lucky, like some of my friends, they got questions familiar in 9L0-009 and 9L0-010. However, there are some questions you may not encountered before. So you may have to read the question carefully, since I have got 2 ESD, which have the same options I read in the dump but asking completely different questions. At the same time, there are at least two questions in this dump related to ESD damage, which Amir has mentioned was incorrect. The other one is the following:

When replacing a Macbook Air (Late 2010) embedded battery, it is acceptable to flex or twist the battery pack to aid in removal. The correct answer should be FALSE, rather than True in this dump. So you have to beware of it.

All in all, I would strongly recommended to read the ESD and technical safety questions in 9L0-009 and 9L0-010 before taking the exam.

Thanks Gor. I will keep that in mind. in your answer below seems like you can get the whole test correct, but if you fail 10 esd questions, you fail. this seems pretty extreme. as each question on the highside would be valued at 2 points. thats 20 points total giving an 80. passing is like 75. or am i missing something??

did you take the test through Prometric Prime? or did you go to a Apple testing center? I am away from a Apple testing center. I checked the Apple site and asked an Apple rep and both said that you have to go to an Apple testing center to take the test. But I checked into Prometric Prime, on there it gives options to take the 9L0-007 and 9L0-010. where the apple site says that only the 007 can be taken on Prometric Prime. Can you or anyone help on this? has anyone taken the 010 on Prometric Prime??

JS, i have double checked the 9L0-009 and found that there are some questions on ESD are from there.
So I suspect that there are quite a number of ESD questions in the bank. You get the questions randomly.
It is better to read both 9L0-009 and 9L010 before taking the exam. But those ESD related to CRT, I think they are quite old.

Failed using this dump! They add 10 questions related ESD and technician safety. None of them you could get wrong, even though you may score more than the passing mark!
Maybe someone could update this dump.
