Formal Training is Mandatory in VMware Install, Configure and Manage vsphere 5.0 , even if you pass the exam, they will not honor it because you dont have a formal training. If you have Training and pass the exam they will send you your VCP certificate via regular post mail and would take for 1 month upon delivery.

I passed exam today with a high score and can confirm that all questions have been contained in this dump. As far as I remember the order of questions have been different from the dump (I am not 100 % sure), not sure about the order of the choices. This dump is not only a great help to pass the exam but also helps better understanding the product. I think most of the answers are correct i.e. whenever I was in doubt and verified I found out that the presented answers were fine. I only found 1 or 2 questions where I believe the answer might be wrong (but maybe I am wrong).

Personally I have created a lab environment to verify as many answers as possible. This way you also get a much deeper understanding of VSphere 5 which again helps to answer the questions.

As SS from UK stated I would also recommend to verify answers in the Vsphere 5.0 documentation centre. If you google questions and answers then in many cases you will get a link to the specific topic in the documentation. At least for me this was helpful and did proof the quality of the answers.

This dump is a very good reference point, and you should study the answers carefully and use the Vsphere 5.0 documention centre ( as this is where most Qs derive from) to verify these, and also the Scott Lowe 'Mastering..' book is also excellent reference material.

No with vSphere 5 you can´t update the OS anymore.

Sorry for the late reply, have been busy at work.

Migrating Virtual Networks from vSS to vDS, the best way I found was to actually do it via vCenter. Look at the answers and replicate it via vSphere Client and you will get the hang of it.

Also as a ref, look at the vSphere 5 Online Documentation and search for vSS migration.

in vsphere, a bound physcial NIC can be configured to transmit and receive jumbo frames. What is the default MTU in vsphere?
