"Still valid" means the material presented in the VCE is still valid for the test. It can mean that the VCE is "one for one" on the questions or it can mean that the material in the VCE gives you a good understanding of what the test will cover. Hope this helps and good luck!

Yeah... dumps are still very valid! took the exam today and score 978. Dont just memorize the answers cos they kinda rephrase them along with the questions just study them. The 11 beta questions also appear but i doubt they are counted. hurry people, before Microsoft changes it....

Beta questions: Many are not included in the dump. Not sure whether they are weighted-in at all and if yes, up to what degree. However I was pretty sure I answered them correctly. So was the exam updated on the 19th as someone claimed? I cannot say, but even if it was, still enough questions from this dump survive into the current version. Study this dump and go. You'll pass.

Passed today with 980/1000.
The survey that was presented before the exam claims it have nothing to do with the exam; I find that hard to believe: the only area I marked as moderate was "deployment and installation" and I got at least 15 questions if not 20, all about deployment scenarios and utils. So be careful about your "survey" answers.

Some new stuff:
- What is required to configure Win7 as NAP client?
- You have a network of ~ 20 comps, you add a new one and can't communicate with themor the I-net, they can communicate with each other. Your IP is 169.254.0.4. What should you do?
a. blah...
b. blah...
c. ipconfig /renew # looks ok, but look at d.
d. configure static IP.

IMHO it's d. Small networks does not employ DHCP, nothing was present in the question to imply any kind of DHCP service or device on the network.

- Windows 7 setup, RAID. Can't detect HDD.
Just checked the net, the right answer appears to be the load driver button, not F6 or F8. This is a trick question, but note that the F6 and F8 is noted at POST procedure. Never in the history of M$ you had to press nothing during POST to load drivers.

Single NTFS question - pretty easy if you know something about permissions.
BTW - 65 questions.

I got 1000/1000 on Saturday with this damp. 65 questions. I wasn't told about any beta or not beta questions. Though I had 2 very similar questions ( same problem with a little bit different words).
I remember:
1q about bad video driver and PC doesn't response. I believe the answer was: safe mode and reverse driver.
2q you install Win7 on a RAID array. answer: press F6 during setup to install driver.

Take the exam a few day ago. All question here is still valid and the additional 20 question is still beta. It doesn't count in your final score. Questions are not so difficult is you have been using vista /win 7 for a while. So dun worry and go for it wihile it's still beta.

Sorry, I can't. I only remember a questions regarding the correct type DNS where the correct answer was "A"

Another question was regarding how to identify network activities. The correct answer was "press ctrl-alt-del and choose task manager"

Unfortunately, these 20 additional questions weren't covered by this vce from BigPAPA. It seems that Microsoft is still investigating which additional questions they should add in the exam 70-680.

Anyway, the 20 additional questions weren't counted at all!

So, go for it until MS decided to expand this exam, finally.
