I took the 290 exam today in SA and this dumb is valid
when preparing for the exam go through simulations carefully as this dumb does not show you how.

I agree. I the right answer is Differential backup. Key phrase is ‘Minimize the time required to RESTORE files’. Also ‘backup only files that have changed since Saturday Backup’, which is full backup.
Remember: Differential takes longer to backup but least time to restore in most cases. You only need the full backup and the most recent Differential backup.
Incremental takes least time to back but takes the longest in most cases. You need the full backup and all of the Incremental backups until the restore point.
Differential backs up everything since last normal backup(larger backup, takes longer, archive bit is not cleared)
Incremental backups up only what has changed since last incremental backup starting after full backup.(smaller backup, takes less time, archive bit is cleared)

Which type of backup should you perform on weekdays?

One says differential and the other says incremental

Anyone knows which is right

I m agree with you jack, the shadow coy is already installed on a server 2003 so you need to installed the client twcli32 on the computer client

Need help with this one.

Shadow Copies is enabled on all volumes and daily backups are performed by using Windows Backup.
User1 with Computer1 With XP(SP3). User1 is denied the right to log on to Server1.
Ensure that User1 can recover previous versions of files on Server1 without help from an administrator.
What should you do?
A. On Server1, install twcli32.msi.
C. On Computer1, install twcli32.msi.
Answer: A. Why is it ‘A’ and not C’. Why does this needs to be installed on Server? Shouldn’t this be installed on client side to access server?

Hey Rohit. If you just do one dump, you will fail... You need to study book as well and get hands on experience. 20 -25% exam consist of sims so do not just depend on this dump or that dump...If you want to waste money then go ahead and do one dump and take the test. You might get lucky and get everything from this dump.
