when preparing for the exam go through simulations carefully as this dumb does not show you how.
Remember: Differential takes longer to backup but least time to restore in most cases. You only need the full backup and the most recent Differential backup.
Incremental takes least time to back but takes the longest in most cases. You need the full backup and all of the Incremental backups until the restore point.
Differential backs up everything since last normal backup(larger backup, takes longer, archive bit is not cleared)
Incremental backups up only what has changed since last incremental backup starting after full backup.(smaller backup, takes less time, archive bit is cleared)
