Concerning your backup/restore answer, you only need to restore the full backup from Saturday & the incremental from Friday because the differential backups keep the archive bits therefor those changes are also included in the incremental backup of Friday

4. IIs management (Bandwidth & connection config)
5. Two AD Remove Enterprice domain
6. Ading groups to ADUS
7. terminal server Configuration (Disconnection & Idel time)
8. Terminal server profile (Deny terminal server access)
9. Enable Quota
10. Password reset & release account lockouttd

The simulations are:

1. A disk fails on Friday you need to restore from backup. Saturday is full backup, Monday is differential, Wednesday is differential, and Friday is incremental.

2. The driver for network adapter doesn't work. In that case you need to "roll back the driver"

3. Change the bandwidth of the Internal Web site to 2Mb/s. Allowed number of connections to 200 and port to 8010.

4. Max Stevens goes out of office for a month. So you need to prevent other users from logging to his computer (which is Max-PC) by using least administrative effort.

5. Application, security and system logs have to be retained from GPO. Security log has to be set to be overwritten in 7 days, where as applications and systems logs need to be deleted manually.

6. Two active directory domains: adatum and contoso. Mr X is an admin in adatum and contoso. Configure so that he is admin in adatum only.

7. In advanced security options there is special permissions for "authenticated users". You need to make sure that they don't get any write permission or permission to create folders/subfolders.

8. A software needs to deployed to a computer in marketing OU. The installer is in serverapp1. Deploy it so that the users have option of installing it from add/remove

9. 1 Sim that i cannot remember but very easy.

1. Driver on Network Adapter is not working, SO YOU ROLL BACK DRIVER.

2. A user Max is going away for a month, SO YOU DISABLE HIS COMPUTER.

3. Which 2 drives can you take away, and the volume will still work. SO YOU CAN TAKE AWAY DRIVES 6 AND 7, AS THESE WERE RAID 1 AND RAID 5 (FAULT TOLERANT).

4. A disk fails so you to need to back up. SO DO IN THIS ORDER: SATURDAYS FULL BACKUP, WEDNESDAY'S DIFFERNTIAL AND FRIDAYS INCREMENTAL. (i know for this one, people were doing it wrong but this is the right way)

5. Change bandwidth of internal website, allow a certain number of connections and change port. PRACTICE ON IIS, THIS IS NOT HARD AT ALL.

6. Application, Security and System logs needed to be retained using GPO. ONCE AGAIN WITH PRACTICE AT HOME, THIS IS EASY.

hi "bud" just learn from the test. some answers are vrong but you will be ok. type in google dr z simulation click on some link and download it from rapid share.there is 7 simulation but i had in the test 1,3,5,7 . be quick cos someone posted the prometric will change the test end of this month. .the questions and answers are exactly the same .very very easy.took me not more 25 minutes to finished and with double checking on the end

June 08, 2009. I passed the 70-290 exam today in the US. All the questions in the exam were from this dump including the simulations. I got 813 / 1000, and I am very happy with this score. Yes, there are some questions with wrong answers, but don't worry too much about that. This dump will surely help you pass the exam.
