  Hi Guys, I appeared for this exam (with new exam code 096-640) in NZ, but the result was not published immediately!
  Is there anyone who had similar issue, where exam result was published aft 24-48 hrs? I called up MS Helpdesk but they couldn't find out the result as well !!

  Hi, guys it looks like there is a real big problem sitting for this particular exams. Because it has taken me almost a week and I have not been able to write the exams, this is bcos the center is having problems connecting to the prometric center's system. The exams have been postponed more than uncountable times. Is anyone facing the same problem any elsewhere?. This is Ghana.
  
  When It happpens that way they say it is likely that the first lab test will pass away and you might loose marks there.Is that true folk? If so then I will eventually cancel the whole exams. Advice pls.

  YEAH Guys, I' ve got it !!!!!!
  Passed the german exam certification for the 70-640 today. Got the score of 925/1000 points. Only 40 questions with the following 5 certfication parts:
  1.Config of DNS
  2.Config of Active Directory Infrastructure
  3.Config of Active Directory Serverfunctions
  4.Config of Active Directory Neighbourhood
  5.Config of Active Directory Certficate Services
  
  I think difficult was the AD Certificate Services and some AD Serverfunctions.
  I only read the ms press book in english and study to control the 79 quests german vce file, nothing more. Only to learn the braindumps is not a pass 4 sure, I believe. Additionally you' ve to click the fuck on vmware or hyper-v stuff to get sure of pass the exam. Good luck.

  I passed the 83-640 with 916 mark. I prepared for 70-640 and went to the testing center.. But the test center informed me that, as of today MS had withdrawn the 70-640 and replaced it with 83-640 which has included the virual lab tasks.. But fortunately test center administrator couldnt register the exam that due to technical and I was the 1st person writing this virtual lab included exam in that center :-)...
  
  So then postponed the exam for 3 days and gone through the internet and searched for the different types of lab task given for the exam. Prepared the same practically with VMWARE and had confidence and written the exam.
  
  This was the my 1st IT certification done in my life ;-)

  Given below are the some of the lab task I got for the exam.
  
  change group type (2-3 of these), i.e. security to distribution, universal to domain local, etc.
  Raise domain AND forest functional level
  Set Company attribute to replicate with global Catalog
  Disable round-robin and recursive lookup
  Remove a RODC, reset the passwords for users/computers, and export that list of users/computers to a txt
  Set replication schedule to ignore
  Set DEFAULTSITEIPLINK to not replicate on Sundays
  Create dns conditional forwarder only to another DNS Server
  Replicate company attribute to Global catalog
  Change DSRM password
  Disable DNS load bad data
  Block inheritance in GPO
  Disable user configuration in GPO
  Create a new forward zone in dns
