Jamesido , based on what you are saying in Q012, the answer should be C) since the director pool name is: dirpool.contoso.com

Is it possible that the answer for Q026 to be "Mediation Server". Because in description they say that infrastructure contains two edge server in an edge pool, why to add additional edge server?
Also according to this article
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398903.aspx
"The Mediation Server has extended capabilities so that it can correctly interact with Enhanced 9-1-1 (E9-1-1) service providers" so I thing that correct answer is Mediation Server.

jamesido, I don't think Q003 is correct. As per Melek's link, Lync 2010 drops to SIREN when OCS is in the conference. Video is also dual stream which means;
Each Lync client uses 984Kbps for video (492 Kbps per stream). Total video is 2952 Kbps
Each Lync client uses 22Kbps for SIREN. Total is 66Kbps
Each OCS client uses 22Kbps for SIREN. Total is 44Kbps

How much bandwidth is required on the network connection to the SIP trunk?
Mediation does the transconding to g711 for pstn calls
so,
1000=concurrent calls
G.711=59.8Kbps
(1000*59.8)/1024(Kbps->Mbps) = 58,39843
the answer is 58.40

In the DATUM corporation testlet there is a question about bandwidth:
you need to calculate the minimum amount of bandwidth required for pstn calls
The answer should be 25.29Mbps
"Calls to the PSTN either to or from Lync 2010 endpoints will use either G.711 or RTAudio (8kHz)." According to the scenario you need 1000 concurrent calls at RTAudio=25.9Kbps x1000 = 25.9Mbps not 34.8Mpbs which is the current answer.

PSTN calls don't use RT16 audio. They use RT8.
