  I passed exam today with 800 out of 1000 in Florida. You don't need all 288 questions this is enough. Labs are easy if you study the videos from www.4shared.com/file/155428761/d9b12d9c/Labs_83-640_or_70-640.html. Lab 1 had 10 tasks and Lab 2 had 8 tasks for me. 30 questions given after labs. Resetting DSRM password to Pa$$w0rd did not work, kept getting syntax error. I think it was marked wrong for me even though I did it right. Remember that to get AD schema you must go to the cmd prompt and type register schmmgmt.dll not schmmgml.dll. This will allow you to enable the postalcode attribute task.

  Correction in the 8th question, at one part I put ESF and then EFS Recovery Agents, they are both EFS Recovery Agents (Encrypting File System). Best of luck again. :)

  I just came from the exam, unfortunately I didn't complete it because of some technical issues (don't ask). Here is how it was set up in the first lab:
  1 main office and 1 branch office. 1 domain, 1 server CHI-DC1 (he is a Global Catalog, DNS and a Domain Controller).
  1.Create a conditional forwarder for fabrikam.com and set it as a master server, ip 10.10.10.15, configure forwarder to replicate to all DNS servers in the forest.
  2.Configure all DNS servers to delete all stale records in 8 days (default is 7).
  3.Configure the cost of DEFAULTIPSITELINK to 50.
  4.Configure RODC1 as a Global Catalog server.
  5.Pre-create a RODC Domain Controller account named RODC2.
  -Place RODC2 in the branch office site (this one I didn't know).
  -Do not configure RODC2 as a Global Catalog server or a DNS server.
  -Delegate the installation and administration of RODC2 to the branch
  office admin account.
  6.For all users in the Sales OU change the description to "Sales Department Users"
  7.Configure security filtering on the Default Domain Controller Policy so that it applies ONLY to the Domain Controllers Group (make sure you delete the "Authenticated Users" group that is allready in the Default Domain Controller Policy.)
  8.Grant the ESF Recovery Agents to read and enroll EFS Recovery Agent Certificates.
  9.Configurate DNS debug logging as follows:
  -Packet Direction:Incoming
  -Transport Protocol:TCP and UDP
  -Packet Contents:Queries/Transfers
  -Packet Type:Request
  -Log file path name: C:dnslog.txt file
  10.Delegate the SalesIT group the ability to link Group Policy Objects to the Sales Organizational Unit.

  Video "CMD-Set DSRM Password using NTDSUTIL.avi" doesn't provide correct DSRM password reset procedure.
  Below is correct procedure:

  I'm scheduled to take the 94-640 on Wednesday. Does anyone know of any lab sims for this exam. I got a sneak peak when I went to test previously but the microsoft servers were down and I couldn't connect to perform the labs which resulted in me being rescheduled.
