Server 1 - Client Access, Hub Transport
    Server 2 - Mailbox
Server 3 (perimeter) - Edge Transport

Configure firewall that separates internal from external network. 1) Ensure inbound email can be relayed to server 1.

    3) Ensure list of Exchange recipients replicated to server 3

    Ports to choose from: 25, 389, 443, 636, 3389, 50636

Choose 2 outbound TCP ports from internal network, 1 port from perimeter
    network.

Thanks can for the link, this look legit but only 90 questions out of probably 300 they pull from. which like boss said it was only 50% of what he had.

And from reading golfer and ori dumbs still have about 20% left i think, so maybe combine these two?
  • boss from United Kingdom - Jan 17 2012, 12:37 PM Report Spam
@can Just had a skim over those questions. I had about 50% of those. There are some other simulation type questions also and a LOT about cmdlet. About 50% of my exam was based on cmdlets

  • Jamie from Canada - Jan 16 2012, 7:31 PM Report Spam
Exam tip: Skip ahead on exam to answers you know - don't sit there and try and answer something until you go thru and answer the questions you DO know - why? Because if you get one wrong that you do not recognize, they give you more of the same topic. If there are 20 new questions, the hardest ones will be on cmdlets. So go to the MS site and read up on what the important ones do. I used Videos - CBT Nuggets - Microsoft 70-662 Exchange Server 2010 Configuring - CertCollection - video tutorials of every major topic.

You need to ensure that 10 new room mailboxes automatically accept meeting requests.
    Which cmdlet should you run?
    A. SetCalendarNotification
    B. SetCalendarProcessing
    C. SetMailboxAutoReplyConfiguration
    D. SetMailboxCalendarConfiguration
    Answer: B
  • Jamie from Canada - Jan 16 2012, 6:58 PM Report Spam
    Here's a new one:

You have an Exchange Server 2003 organization.
You install a new Exchange Server 2010 server in the organization.
You need to ensure that you can modify the default email
address policy by using the Exchange
    Management Console (EMC).
    What should you do?
    A. Run the SetEmailAddressPolicy cmdlet.B. Run the UpdateEmailAddressPolicy cmdlet.
    C. From the Exchange System Manager, modify the properties of the default recipient policy.
    D. From the EMC, select the Email Address Policies tab, rightclick Default Policy, and then click Apply.

    Answer A

I wish good luck to everybody.

Firewall ports needed between Edge and Client servers - port 25 both ways and 50636 from the hub to the edge if Secure LDAP is used .... if not secure then 50389.

    @Confused
You have an exchange 2010 org. You need to modify the permissions of a public folder. What tool should you use?

a - Exchange Control Panel (ECP)
b - Exchange management Console (EMC)
    c - Microsoft Office Outlook
d - Public Folder management Console

Absolutly the answer is D "Public Folder Management Console" you can verify it in :
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff477613.aspx#AddorMod
    Subsection:
*Add or modify public folder permissions for a client user

I wanted to say thanks for all the comments cause they helped me actually go through and take the test off this dump. I passed 756/1000 and I only studied this dump. I do not have a background in Exchange, but I want to and that is why I took the test.

Now for the part everyone wants to know. I would guess about 60% or so came from this dump. For me, it was not 90% as Jose stated and I did not have a firewall port question either. There were several D&D as stated by Jose and there were questions I had never seen or studied for. I had to make an educated guess. I guess I guessed right on some :)

There were quite a few questions from Golfer and that dump seemed to help me out the most on my exam. Most of the questions were A-D. Around 5-7 A-M answers. More cmdlets questions than I would have liked, but I got through it.

All and all, this was my first time ever taking a microsoft exam and I passed using only this dump. Good Luck :)

@ Jose - Thank you very much Sir!
  • jose from United States - Jan 03 2012, 2:54 AM Report Spam
    @john connor

Yes. My test was about 90% from this dump. There were some other questions thoat were different, but if you understand this dump, then you will pass. The only questions that i had not seen was a firewall question. Basically you need to give the firewall ports that need to be open on the edge server (1 port) and on the internal hub transport (2 ports).

Other than that, the rebuild OWA directory D&D question was in it (restart IIS was not an option on the test).

The CAS Server failure D&D question was also in it.
The RPC over HTTP question was in it also.

Most of my questions were the basic multiple choice question (4 possible answers)

The mega multiple choice questions were worded different, but the answers were so wrong that you basically can narrow all of them down to two choices. If you are familiar with the cmdlets, you will have no problem passing the test. Also study the train signal 70-662 series. It covered everything that was asked on the test --> cmdlets and all. It even had the firewall ports from the drag and drop.

Also remember to read the entire question. There were 2 questions that you needed to either upgrade exchange 2003 to SP2 or install Windows 7 64 bit sonce all clients were Windows XP SP2

@ Jose from Alabama - Are ALL the questions from the exam in this dump? Ty.
  • jose from United States - Jan 02 2012, 10:21 PM Report Spam
    Passed - Valid in Alabama.

Had a Firewall port question drag and drop.. rest were pretty much from this dump --> a little different but as long as you are familiar with the cmdlets you should be fine. Also, make sure you answer the initial questionaire they ask you with the lowest possible answers --> I did and it seemed i got easy questions.. or so it seemed to me. Once again, if you are familiar with this dump and know the cmdlets you will pass.
