I passed 83-640 today with 850/1000 [2009.09.14]
30 questions + 2 HARD LABS
There was 30 questions all from Microsoft Braindump 70-640 v2009-01-30 by breeze 126q.vce
100% the same Questions in South Korea
2 labs, 1st one had 7 tasks, and the 2nd one had 8 tasks.
I remember lab questions
- Enable the "Postal Code" attribute to replicate to all Global Catalog Servers.
- Raise the Functional Level of a domain to Windows 2008
- Add a Task to the event viewer with ID: 7036
- Change the GPO Password History to 12
- Enable Universal Group Caching.
- Remove DC3 from the domain, reset password and replicate them to the file c:xxxxx.txt
- Enable round robin and disable recursion on DNS server.
- Configure DNS Delegation
- Change the GPO to not display the Last User Name.

Hi guys I just passed 70-640 1hr ago in Nigeria.
The 84Q pass4sure dumbs is still valid.I had 40Qs,about 30 were from the dumb while 10 were new.I got no sim.
I will recommend that you guys shld study certificate service very well cos most of the new Qs were CA related.

@asdf. they are both Ms active directory 2008 configuration, it depends on the country you are taking the exam, some countries still take 70-640, while some countries it is 83-640, the 83-640 has lab simulations and 30 objective questions, i suggest you find out from your test center which they are using.

70-640 and 83-640 are two different exams that can be use to attain the same certification.
both exam are valid and either has been use to replace the other.

I don't remember all of them but some of them:

- Create one conditional forwarder cal "domainname.net"
- Set unwanted DNS record after 8 days (expire?)
- Change cost to 50 for DEFAULTSITELINKIP in DNS
- Pre-create one Server name it "domainname" and assign only Global
Catalog. Specific "domainname" to the server
- Set w2k8.exam only do zone transfer to 10.10.10.15
- Reset Directory Services Restore Mode (DSRM) password to Pa$$w0rd
- Set COMPANY attribute (failed on this one)
- Set description for all members in Sales OU to "blablabla"
- Avoid DC to receive bad zone data (failed on this one)
- Raise domain/forest functional levels

I had two simulations. The first one took me about 1 hours to do, the second was easy and took me only ~20 mins, after that I got 30 questions and I saw all of them from P4S. Remember in simulations... Open Run type help and type main word for example "DSRM" or "NTDSUTIL" and help will give you all available info about this freaking command..
- Debug logging
- Setup replication interval to 15 mins
- Disable Global Catalog in RODC
- Modify default DC policy to audit all success & failed logon
- Enable zone transfer to on a specific server

I did not see any labs simulations and passed it.. C'mon you guys...

Hey by the way, I am giving you good advice. When you go to the exam and see that there is something that is weird, do not panic. There is no click control in this sims.. So open Help in run command type whatever you need and microsoft help will definately help you. Thats how I did it...

Passed 70-640 today with the score of 833. Here is some examples of the lab questions:

- Remove DC3 from the domain, reset password and replicate them to the file c:filename.txt.
All you need to do is to open AD Users and Computers -> domain -> DC3 -> right click -> delete and the wizard will do the rest for you...
- Raise functional and domain levels
- Enable round robin and disable recursion on DNS server.
All you need to do is to open DNS Manager -> right click DNS -> Properties -> Advanced -> modify checkboxes
- Reset DSRM password
All you need to do is to open CMD, type "ntdsutil" -> set dsrm password -> reset password on server null -> That's it...
- Edit Default Domain policy to audit access/failed logon
All you need to do is to open Group policy management -> right click on Default Domain policy -> Edit -> Computer configuration -> Policies -> Security settings -> Local Policies -> Audit Policy...

So again other ones were easy, if you have any questions, post your email and I'll reply. By the way I was using 84Q Pass4Sure (not this one) and I got 100% the same questions on EXAM

Open the vce file in Visual CertExam Manager, set the properties of all questions to "Allow suffle choises" = False. Save the vce file and then start refering it. This is question and answers are not dumps. This is the best study matarial for exam 70-640.
