5 - Main office & branch office connect to each other by router the most important thing you need to ensure the connection will automatic attempt to connect if fail - Persistent Connection
6 - You will be asked to diable client-initiated updates from the domain treyresearch.com zone in dns from the dns console only
7 - RAS -->server with 2 NIC Local area connections and Internet connections. Client can't connect to Internet but can connect to internal servers <Answer>Just enable the NAT
8 - GPO-->you need to log all traffic to server using GPO

All servers in the domain have static IPs from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.4. All clients have dynamic IPs. You will get an exhibit with DHSP, DNS, and router - all static IPs. Configure TCP/IP Properties for File Server. (sorry don`t remeber exact wording)

Took the exam today in EGypt and passed with 867, used: in 29-1-2010
Microsoft Braindump 70-291 v2009-02-28 corrected Ray 209q.vce
and it still 100% valid.

I had 31 multichoice questions, and 9 sims.

The 9 sims were fairly easy, similar to the ones posted .
1.Authorise DHCP and activate the scope
2.Reservation to Client and give you the MAC for PC Client
3-You will be asked to diable client-initiated updates from the domain treyresearch.com zone in dns from the dns console only

Answer) RIght click on the zone in the console and go to properties and where it says Dynamic Updates, click on the drop down and select none and click ok, that's all
4-RRAS: assign smart card authentication
5-IP Configuration (TCP/IP Properties)
6-IPSec -->Profile Dial_in (Remote access profiles)
7-ther is main office & branch office connect to each other by router the most important thing you need to ensure the connection will automatic attempt to connect if fail

1-teher was 2 subnets: subnet1 & subnet2 connecting by router
Clients on subnet1 can access to subnet2 I should don't allow clients on subnet1 connect to subnet2
Answer: it appears the Tcp/Ip properties for serve1 on subnet1 with
Ip:172.16.1.1
Subnet mask:
255.255.0.0
Default gateway: 172.16.1.5
Preferred DNS: 127.0.0.1
(I don't know really what should I do any body have any clue???
2-server1 (RAS) Company ecurity policy require that dial-in users must use smart card
Answer:
It will appear client1 Network connection go to
Dial-in>> right click>>properties>>authentication Tab
From drop-down list choose Smart card

That you need to ensure the service(RAS) will resume automatically when seerver1 restart in the future

I took exam 70-291 last Thursday 14-1-2010
This dump still valid
I upload another dump that I was studied from it but I don't know where it was uploaded
Now I will tell you simulation I had it in the exam
1- There is server1 has two interface one of them connect to the internet and the other to local network & clients in the local Network cannot connect to the internet
Answer :
Go to RAS >>server1>>properties and check this option in general tab
Remote Accses Server & LAN & demand Dial options

And go to RAS>>NAT /Basic Firwall
Check there was to interface first of them internet>>properties>>check on both options Public Interface Connect to internet & Enable nat on this interface
Second Local area connection interface>>right click >>properties>>ensure you checked these option private interface connect to private network
2- There was DHCP server1 it was broken so we replace it with another server2 we need to ensure that server2 can distribute ips to clients
Answer : we should authorize srever2 an activate the scope
3-there is OU sales we need to make user his name: David Jones
To be able to add users account to groups & remove in OU sales
Answer: we should make delegation for that user
4-this simulation I don't know the correct answer for it if any body know it just tell me
There was server name server1 its also RAS & VPN
There are remote users how has these protocols(IPX & apple talk)
Can connect to server1 but other users how have Tcp/IP protocol cannot connect to server1 what is the solution for that

5-ther is OU for HRClients has group policy name HRClientPolicy
and there is another OU names SecureServer has another policy SecureServerPolicy
the most important thing that all connection between Secureserver And HRClients should be Encrypted
answer: it will open group policy editor to you all you should do is right click on required security >>assign
6-server1 has two interface I should ensure that one of theseinterface cannot resolve FQDN to server1
Answer: go to DNS>>server1>>properties>interface tab>>remove that interface from the list
7- server1 I shoul ensure that server1 allow vpn connection to remote clients
Answer:
Go to RAS >>server1>>properties and check this option in general tab

8-I have DHCP server I don't remember the exact question but the main think about NT4 clients can handle wit DHCP
Answer: I think the answer was that
DHCP>>server1>>properties>>DNS tab>>choose the last check box
9- it is about make subnetting for 6 network all you should do is write the correct subnet
