Well passed today in the UK - 868. Questions as in here but there must be some wrong answers. One curveball I found the question on using offline servicing to update the image there was another tickbox to upgrade the image to Windows 7 SP1 - tick all that apply. So I chose both as I suggest it makes sense to be deploying W7 SP1 - don't know if that was the right answer or not

I'm taking it on Friday ;). It Makes me laugh because I've seen these questions many times but with different answers - however, System I agree with your choices. I need to verify a couple
Q31 - The printer question is ambigous but enabling the default Win32_Printers is only going to catch local printers. I suspect they want network printers so I go with A to add a custom WMI class ??
Q42 - About importing the baseline. I agree you don't NEED to add a category to deploy the imported baseline but are we sure ? - I've seen others wanting the categorize ticked as well
Q35. I also agree it should be a LEFT join rather than FULL join - what do we think ?

@Mesc, although Firewall enable File and PRinter Sharing, but the user is not member of local Admin group so manual client installation does not work.

Discovery accros multiple forest.
Administrative user account will not help between Forests; We need to assume (I know!) that we have used Forest Discovery to list both forests.
We need System discovery to find computers in both Forest.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682088.aspx
"Active Directory Forest discovery is a new discovery method in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager that allows you to discover network locations from multiple Active Directory forests. This discovery method can also create boundaries in Configuration Manager for the discovered network locations and you can publish site data to another Active Directory forest to help support clients, sites, and site system servers in those locations."
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb892805.aspx
Active Directory System Discovery retrieves details about the computer, such as computer name, Active Directory container name, IP address, and Active Directory site. It generates a data discovery record (DDR) for each computer it discovers in Active Directory Domain Services.

@ Mesc : This question with firewall open is actually a very old one ;)
I know this from my painful fail back in June.
I agree with you.
I have given me a week and reread all questions today. I can't figure out, which questions are definitely wrong. That's why i really don't like the new exams.
Probably 6 to 7 answers wrong. A lot for such a few questions.

Got a 925 on the test. This dump is valid :) I had seen every question from the test on this exam so there may be a few wrongs; still a great resource. If any of the questions got re-worded then I just overlooked it.

Passed exam with 887 point this morning.
Still valid in NL, maybe a few new questions.
In some questions the text is different, ie. the question about possible client installations is different. in the exam the firewall allows file & printer sharing, the dump says blocked.
if file & printer sharing is enabled, then in my opinion all answers are correct...

System,
Exam B, Question 6 - about managing mobile phones.
Devices: Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows Phone 7.
Answers:
Upgrade the Exchange server to Exchange Server 2010
Configure an Exchange connector
I believe the reason for the Exchange connector is:
SCCM 2012 doesn't state it supports Windows Phone 7 being enrolled by configuration manager. Thus no client, requiring light management via an exchange connector. Hopefully that makes sense.
Great guide so far! Keep up the great work.

System,
You're comments are pretty impressive.
You do state quite often that'the temptation to see things which are not mentioned in the question are taken into account to determine the answer.
Since most questions are not so straightforward and the same goal can be achieved in multiple ways.
In my opinion, the best way to do this exam is to read the question as straightforward as you can and try to find the best matching answer.
I am going to do this exam on Friday (in NL), after the exam I will provide my feedback.
To be honest, I work a lot with SCCM 2012 and this exam looks like a new beast (after 70-216 and 70-291) indeed...

You convinced me with "we might be laughed back to the drawing board". A good one.
Other point is i had one wrong answer under queries and reports.
A good discussion is the best thing to clear your mind.
Thanks alot Agnostracised and all the others, who have written your statements in the previously VCEs.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for! GOOD JOB!
On a side note, I believe the question asked in the previous VCE about the full join vs left join might need to be changed. While I agree it could be taken either way, if management were to ask for a report of all machines in the system and their last logged on user and we gave them a report of 100k+ machines and only half of the entries are computers (results of a full join) then I believe we might be laughed back to the drawing board.
With that knowledge--I gave a good explanation and example on the previous VCE just moments ago--I think that's the only question in doubt and it should probably be changed to answer as LEFT join.
But yeah, it's debatable and open to interpretation. Still... excellent job on the VCE!
