i was not sure, have never done it before
second was about RAID
there were 8 HDD, C drive is mirrored, then there was D drive and F drive
question sounded like this
when you reboot the server which two drives can fail and the server will boot normally.

Yesterday i passed my exam 70-290. there were 40 ques. and 9 or 10 sims. sims are not so difficult,
Allow Quota,Security log retention, 8 hdd (which one of can fail without effecting SERVER-1?),terminal server configuration,INstalling a software through GPO when user login he must be able to install that software when he needs, u need to configure settings that users must able to install software from ADD/REMOVE programs................... thats all i rememberd.
2 or 3 question are new(out of cchelo). but cchelo is about 98% valid.

Open it with the VCE Manager and not the Designer.

Only the Designer will ask for a password.

3 new sims=>
1. what disks can be removed and still have full functioning box? (look at the types of RAID - one was only striped - there were about 8 drives that made 3 diff volumes) - look for disks #0,1,4 (can be removed)
2. Needed to add a new temp user to a marketing security group to get emails but the corporate policy does not allow delegation?? - not sure what that means. The security group for emails needs to have access to two domains, watch for that.
3. don't remember the 3rd one.

cchelo is 98% valid - 2 new questions

3 new sims

1.8 Disks which disk can be removed but will continue to function.
(Answer should be disk is included in RAID 5-disks #0,1,4)

I dont remember the other 2 new sims

Passed with 943/1000

cchelo dump is 95% or so valid, I had 2 new questions.

The sims were all the usual that peeps wrote here about, and a Sim about windows backup.

dump is still valid as are the harith sims although there were a couple new ones.

One is about the removal of the disks. Look for the "fault tolerance" column in the sim...c and the raid are fault tolerant hence you can remove 0, 1, 4.

Another was an email question with 2 domains. I added the user to the global distribution group...think thats right

Hi All,
Today I passed my 70-290 & it is my first step towards the MS certifications.
Used MS Press book initially, then couple of CBT but finally cchelo came to my rescue.
