TestOut CompTIA Network PLUS 2009

Postby elber » Mon Jan 25, 2010 1:04 am

Hi
Previously TestOut used .DAT and .IDX format for each question file in their Questions folder. However, the new N10-004 uses a .EXM format. Has anypone had experience with the .EXM format? I can get the Course simulator and the Lab simulator to work but I cannot get the question files to display. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

thx in advance

If I use "LegacyXEng.exe" to open the xml file, I can watch videos and SIMs to work but not the exam files.

below is screenshot of the error.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I feel that installing .net version 2 as well as latest version of Java should fix the issue. Mean while i also will be checking if i get the same error and update the answers soon.

Thanks.

It doesn't work because your using a legacy application to open a format it doesn't recognize. It won't open .exm files.
