So far, I've done 270/290/293

The best way to learn everything, next to being a network admin, are the TestOut CDs. They're terrific, and explain everythign wonderfully, PLUS they have simulations in them that are really great.

The best way to pass the exam is grab the latest Testking file for your exam in the form of a VCE and go over it until the questions are familiar. Try and grab the actual PDF for 290/291 and print out the sims and practice how you would actually do them. Also note that on 290/291 some of the sims are different now than they are on the testkings...so get familiar with server 2003. Do the same for 293/294 once a testking with sims is released (none so far)

is passed already the following exams

270
290
293
294
298
299

This is how i study.

Read the book of the exam you are planning.
Use the Testking studyguide for the short version.
Use Vmware or Virtual machine with XP or/and 2003 to practice the sims and get familiar with the software.
and last use The lastest VCE instead of the testking PDF.

if you have any questions just pm me

This is the most comprehensive study guide for mcse/mcsa core exams. Not only will it help you understand the concept of what your learning through actual simulation, it also covers every configration needs for the real world. This is what I reference to at work!

I have to agree - TestOut has to date been superb!! the explanations are clear, the sims and interactive sims are terrific - you can find it on www.mininova.org - this along with testking pdf and vce's as well as 1 week fast track classroom courses, I have so far done 2 exams:
70-290 - 889/1000
70-291 - 960/1000

next up is 70-293 and I have to do a vmware course in a few weeks too

My thanks to all those here for the vce files and superb help / info!!
