So I took the 083-640 exam today at Prometric

So…. The second lab crashed in the middle and apparently that means that the results get reviewed. The guy at the test center said “You’ll get results probably later today or tomorrow”. I called customer service for an ETA:

Me: I took the test today and just wanted an eta on the results.
Customer service: The 083-640 exam?
Me: Yes
Customer Service: Well, unfortunately you have to wait 10 days before requesting a score report for that exam.
Me: 10 DAYS!!!!!
Customer service: Yes
Me: Are you serious?
Customer Service: Yes
Me: That’s ridiculous. Have a nice day I guess then.
Customer Service: Is there anything else I can help you with?
Me: Ummmmm no.
Dial tone………..

So here’s the scenarios as I can figure them out:
1. I somehow exceeded the 1000 points possible. :D
2. I failed so spectacularly that they think something must be wrong.
3. Since the lab crashed, they need Bill Gates to examine the results just to be sure I wasn’t cheating……

This happened to my flatmate.
It took 3 days to get the pass/fail result however they were unable to tell him his score which was utter shi7.

Oh and Bill Gates has nothing to do with MS any more ;)

I took it yesterday and the labs did not crash but I still didn't get a score report and got told the same thing about waiting 10 days for requesting score report which I agree is BS. Does anyone know how they score the labs? I did well on them but might have missed 1 or 2 things. Do you need 100% on the labs to pass?

Did you reboot the VM servers? That triggers an audit too. I was able to get my pass / fail status the following monday. (took it on Friday). I got that from the Prometric website but they never were able to give me a score. Just that I failed the audit. Whatever that means.

I took the test again and passed with no issues. Check out the 'breeze' exam on examcollection.com as well as the forum that posts all of the labs. You need to know pretty much everythin in both of those posts to pass. Worked like a charm the second time 'round. 8)
