Went to take the exam Saturday and it froze while trying to load the 1st lab - had to reschedule... What a joke - Microsoft should format their entire Hyper - V farm and install ESX....

Had to do exam this morning at nine; arrived at 8.30 - Virtual machines refused to startup. So I had to fix a new booking the same day; needed to wait for 4 hours! The 2nd shot started good; but with the 2nd lab, the machines refused again connection.
Eventually I decided to skip the 2nd lab test because nobody found a solution, and I passed

I took the 83-640 exam today in Italy. At the end of the exam, while I was waiting for the score a message appeared:

"Your score is not available at this time" or something like this. I reported this to the guys that work in the test center and they called Prometric. A person from the italian office of Prometric said that I have to wait to know my score because they will send it to me through postal service. This is the first time I heard this thing and I think that Prometric really sucks.

Anyway I think that I passed the exam because I've done all the labs correctly (same labs as the ones from 4shared) and all the questions were exactly like the ones in the Microsoft.Braindump.70-640.v2009-01-30.by.breeze.126q.vce.

I was with other two friends that had to take this exam. One passed the exam and got the score when finished but the other had to reschedule the exam because virtual machine didn't get connection. The prometric help desk said "try rebooting your machine and restart the exam session". I'm so afraid for my friend that waited 4 hours without results.

I'll keep you informed when I receive information about my score. See you guys.

LAB was easy learn all from the 4shared.."postal code" attribute was change to "COMPANY" attribute. the task was to replicate in global catalog server. 2 question that you need to answer in the right order regarding Lightweight Directory Access and Authoratative Restore.

I have come from my "exam" It didn,t Work

I pass with 950 in the Netherlands. No problem at all, but the labs where slow. Therefore, I followed the previously given advise to create a mmc with ADUC,ADSS,Schema and DNS. Also I followed the advise to type and click slow. If you know what to do, you have enough time.
Breeze is still valid (A+B) and also the posted video's. Nothing new. Watch the video's because it takes too much time to search with this low speed.
To do:
Lab A: 7
Lan B: 10
30 questions.

Labs are very easy if you are comfortable with Active Directory\DNS

The labs ran smoothly for me this time, the test took me 1 hour.

Exam crashed whilst loading 2'nd lab. 2 new questions in 1'st lab.

1. Set up DNS replication to all DNS servers in the 'forest'
forward look up zone --> zone properties --> Change on replication

2. Convert Global Security Group to Domain local distribution group
Change security to distribution ( or viceversa ) --> cannot change from global to domain directly. hence have to change to universal first --> apply and then change to domain local
