Passed the 16.01.2010 at 8h30am
Location : France
Score : 933
All is still valid for me (Video and vce).

No problem with lab for me. There are little lag from 9h15 but nothing serious.
Personnaly I think the 83-640 is better than 70-640. I prefer lab, I think it's more easy.

thank at all.

PS : Someone know if 70-680 is ok for MCTIP-EA with 70-640 ; 70-642 ; 70-643 ; 70-647. I don't find the answer on www.microsoft.com.
Edite : Thx bostos, I find this board but I don't see the line with 70-680...

pass it in Australia this afternoon, 950/1000. Every lab task and mutil-choice question are from this forum. Thank everybody for your help.
One thing need to be mentioned is that don't take this examin earlier than your scheduled in Prometric web site. Otherwise, you will fail to connect with Microsoft virtural server in your lab tests.

Hey guys,

Since I didn't know about this site prior to my first take, I failed the exam :(

In the 2 weeks since, have there been any major changes to the exams or are breeze.vce and the videos still mostly valid?

No, After comand "reset dsrm password" you need type comand "reset password on server null" and only after that you can type new password and then confirm it.

Attempted to take this test yesterday (MLK day in US, federal holiday)

After going through the tutorial, labs would not connect at all. Tried 3 separate workstations. After being on the phone with Prometric for the better part of 3 hours, they were unable to get it working, we tried rescheduling for later in the day, but it would not let me attempt the labs, probably due to being too early. After all this, they said Microsoft's servers are unavailable. I am rescheduled for later in the week at a community college (hopefully a better connection).

Prometric is junk, I have used Pearson Vue in the past (CCNA and A+) and never had an issue, and Prometric's help desk can't do anything, and they are rude.

Why did Microsoft use them exclusively for these tests?

I'll let you guys know how this goes.
CCNA (640-802): Passed Jul 28 2008
A+ IT Tech (220-601+ 220-602): Passed Jan 2008
MCTS AD (083-640): Scheduled Jan 18 2010

Last week, I went to take the 94-640 exam. This exam is the same as 83-640. The difference is the two digit prefix 94 denotes that it is the academic version of the exam. Just like the 72-640 is the academic version of the 70-640. The real difference is $65.00! I highly recommend that if you are a student that you take advantage of this promotion (FYI no one ever asked me for my student ID )

Code: Select all
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/offers/student-career.aspx

As for the exam, the first Lab would not connect! I was there for about 3 hours while the proctor was on the phone with prometric. They determined that Microsoft's server was down. Rather ironic that while taking a test to become a Microsoft server administrator, their testing server is down! It looks like I have my work cut out for me. :P

I will not say more because I did agree to a non-discloser agreement. I will say that what has been said over and over here is accurate. I was rather irritated with the whole experience. Also, I received an e-mail from Microsoft shortly after that said: sorry you didn't pass.... blah blah

No Kidding!

I am going back tommorow. Everyone say a prayer for me. This is the last exam I need to pass before I am MCITP EA

Hello Everyone! I passed today with 916/1000 in the US.

Breeze VCE still valid (only A & B) + 2 questions

Let me try to do a brainstorm here...
The questions i remember that one was about CertIssuers and the other about deploing 100 new client computers. I will try to find those questions and post here.

The labs were very similar to the ones provided here. One thing I remember right now... you have to raise the forest and the domain functional level to 2008. The video only shows how to raise the domain. To raise the forest you should go to domains and trust and right click on the first item there.

Then you have to set your dns zone to replicate to all DNS servers in the forest.

The second lab there was a task where you have to set the atribute "Company" to replicate to the Global names. This on is the same as the postal code atribute video where you have to register the schmmgmt.dll and run mmc.

Ahhh... and I had to create a primary zone and set that to replicate to all servers in the forest.

If you start the exam earlier than your scheduled time you will not be able to open the labs. For example if your test is booked at 3pm you should start at 3:05 otherwise you are going to be F..........

I had this problem yesterday too. Whey I clicked start lab it can`t connect. Then my exam was resheduled on today.
Today all were good and I passed with 950/1000. Poland.

vce 100 % valid. All questions from A+B.

Labs also the same as in forum

Thank you ExamCollection
