My friend failed today. Completely new test, with just 7 or 8 questions from Rene test. Exam have 49questions.
Study hard.

Dear, someone already has the VCE with the new issues? Microsoft has updated the questions of the exam.

Is there any estimate for when the VCE will post here in ExamCollection?

I think it's messed up microsoftcadded sp1 questions to the test. The preparation guide on microsofts website doesn't say there will be sp1 questions. The microsoft press book for 70-236 is 2 years old and doesn't havevanything on sp1. How are people supposed tobpass the test? If you fail the test you should complain to microsoft

The Microsoft Course 5047 is based on Exchange 2007 SP1

Most exam requirements usually state :

Candidates typically have at least one year of experience implementing and administering.

Most people seem to forget this advice.

Where on the preperation guide does it say you will be tested on SP1?

The qualified candidate for Exam 70-236 TS: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring, typically:

• Installs and manages Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

• Manages messaging security by using Exchange Server 2007

• Recovers messaging servers and databases by using Exchange Server 2007

• Monitors and troubleshoots Exchange Server 2007

Notice there is no sp1. The microsoft press book also has no reference to sp1, and comes with a dvd of exchange 2007 BASE. Microsoft is being very deceptive.

There are nothing hard in SP1, just some things are easier to do.

Having passed this morning, I can confirm UK that there are 49 Questions.

MS ask you to do a survey at the beginning which is 8 questions which asks you about your experience in the exchange field.

Then the 49 questions : 2hrs 30 min to complete

I also confirm it is a new exam a few questions from the dumps appeared which definatly helps, but you need to know your stuff, you cant rely on these.

I was fotunate enough to go on the SP1 Exchange course and have the 70-236 study book which helps.

I reccommend do AS MANY practice questions as you can to get in that train of thought and it is a SP1 exam so learn the new features of it.

a lot of the questions and are the cmd lets!!!

know them and even if you dont apply some logic and as with all MS exams read the question really carefully as by time you have read it you can normally rule out 2 of the answers straight away!!!

SP1 has a new clustering technology, its called standby continous cluster. It's not mentioned in any of the CBT nuggets or books on 70-236.
