Passed 294 today - Sims are in the exam today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby gamecrusher » Thu Dec 29, 2005 4:56 am

Passed 70-294 today. MCSE 2003 DONE!!!!!!

39 questions:
- Tk v28 covered ~25 of them very closely.
- 8 questions are new and cover GPO and OUs extensively
- 4 simulation questions - aarrrrggghhhh - watch for long pauses when the screen switches from multi choice to simulation and from simulation back to multi choice

New TK will have the sims in them. I'm sure they'll be out soon!

Good luck everyone.

294 study file

Postby gamecrusher » Thu Dec 29, 2005 2:18 pm

I used the following vce file to practice the exam with:
Microsoft.TestKing.70-294.v27.0.by,jokaan.239q.vce

The sims:
1) don't remember

2) create AD site & assign GPO - yes, part of this sim was an exercise in creating the AD - took about 2 minutes of time to simulate

3) link costs and assigning link cost values - also beware that this question asks you to "ensure that a catalog server exists." Which means: GO BACK AND VERIFY THAT SOMEONE CHECKED THE Global Catalog Server checkbox!!!!!!!!!!!!

4) something about making sure that the sales users could not run an application, but you could not edit or create a new GPO to do it

If you can write the above, then I assume and also believe you can read english, and you should be able to locate all the VCEs. Just go to/click on ExamCollection.com above, click on suitable vendor, search and download when you find your desired vce. It is that simple.
Thanks to those who help others! May they be blessed abundantly.

I think Microsoft started adding simulation to 70-923 and 70-924 start Dec 30th, 2005. I can not confirm this but that what i've read in some forum.

Let me confirm that when I wrote both 293 and 294 in the past week, they BOTH had simulations on them.

The sims are on them, they count, and I've already posted which ones I had. Scroll up and do some reading....
