Here is the question at hand:

I have an MCSA utilizing the following path:

70-270
70-290
70-291
A+/Net+ substitution

I am working on my MCSE and have taken 70-293 and am hoping to take 70-294 and 70-298 then be done. After looking things over at the MS site, it looks as if the A+/Net+ only counts toward the MCSA not MCSE so I will still need to take another elective for my MCSE.

Is this correct or am I missing something?

100% wrong!!
becouse that;s what i thought acording to microsoft.
but i had server+ and A+ then take 270,290,291 and become mcsa
so then i take 293,294,298 and plning to take 620 to become mcse but after 298 i've got mail from microsoft saying: congratulations on becoming mcsa so is seems to count both ways Smile)

Hope your right. I am getting really burned out. I took 70-294 this morning and have 70-298 scheduled for 12/9. Hopefully that will finish it up for me.

If you do all the exams like you planned, you will get your MCSE cert.

It seems you just get your MCSA but after your 298 exam you'll get.

Why don't you do your 70-431 exam as well?

Well Uff you were right. Received the email from MS this morning, "Congratulations on besoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer". YAHOO. Mr. Green

For others here is the path I took:

70-270
A+/NET+ substitution
70-290
70-291
70-293
70-294
70-298
