I wonder how strong are those certs - if they are strong at all. I'm not talking about the braindumps. If you have no exp it probably lead you nowhere.
I read articles where the writer slashing down those certs for many reasons. I wonder if those certs, let say, MCSE, CISCO, ComptIA will be able to be to me a solid base for the next 20-30 years.
I know that things moving on very fast, who know what will be in five years time - maybe those certs would mean nothing and would have no value anymore. I would be 34 yrs old and i would be a bit 'stuck in the middle'. wouldn't I?
If it would be academic degree, part of it, it would be something. BUT it's not. |

Hi pal, 20-30 years talking about IT, I don't think so, I went to university about 7 years ago, and whatever signature I had right now is out of date.
You use MCSE, CCNA certs as a base for about 5 years, but if you're looking for a carrer where you have to study once or twice in a life time, IT is definitely not for you pal.
