Depends on what you want te become. Do you want to become MCITP Server Admin (then the 70-620 is a waist) MCITP Enterprise Admin?

Let's assume you want to be EA:
70-640
70-642
70-643
70-647

is the way to go.

Depends on you, Mcsa is backwards compatible, you could have given mcsa and upgrade to mcitp server admin. Server 2003 and xp is very good OS and its being widely used in market and will stay for another 5 yrs. Having Mcsa you can also little fake up resume and tell them that you have past experience in server 2003, having mcsa and mcitp both on resume will for sure add more flavour to resume. But if you are short on time, then go for latest certification mcitp. You can opt for enterprise admin as your 620 will be counted as one paper towards mcitp ent admin. Or you can go for server admin. Depends on you what you want to do.
if I were you, I would go for ent admin. because you need 642,643,640 exams and remember another required exam 647 is just a repeat of what you learnt in all other exams

If you really want to become an MSCA then just upgrade yourself to MCITP, visit this link:

Most of the companies still used Windows 2003 as OS, it's good to have a knowledge of it. You can pursue MCITP and just study how windows 2003 works.

If you have already 70-620... you can add 70-624 to become an MCITP: Enterprise support Technician (Vista) or have 70-680 and 70-686 then go for MCITP: Server Admin or Ent. Admin or both.

MCITP has a lot of flavors:

see this link: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us ... .aspx#tab2

Don't forget the basics: (A+)
