I think dumbs are a good way to have an idea about the complexity of questions involved in the exam.But one should not solely depend on it to pass the exam.....beside that you should have their own concept and knowledge...

i wrote my ceh yesterday cleared it with a 89.17%.i have to say that most questions have changed(atleast 70 questions were not from the dumps).more focus on nmap,bluesmacking,bluejacking,bluesnarfing etc.make sure u know the nmap parameters , a few questions came where you need to use a device in order to validate the software.some questions on xss and sql injection.reading on google hacking would also help.btw i used david moores and the 306 dated 30 sept also used kim graves ceh review guide ,watched the ceh 6 career academy vids along with professor nmaps secrets!

@ Han, I have done training at an ATC, and there training method was not for me, half through the schedule I walk out of the class never to return, YES, you can apply at EC Council for Exam eligability number, they will give you a reg number, use that and write your Exam, good luck

You cant write the exam unless you take up the course at an ATC. The cost of exam + course is around 35,000 INR.

Hi,
Please solve my doubt.
I've visited the website www.eccouncil.org in that website they have mentioned the pre-requisites for this exam. That a training program is required (or) for the self study means a 2 years of IT security experience is needed.
My doubt is, I'm preparing a self-study for this exam & I don't have the 2 years exp.
Can I able to write this exam without attending the training program?
Pls tell me, about more on this issue & Pls tell me the cost for this exam in India?

That's what i said brother.If you will use these dumps just to pass then you're going to be nothing but a paper champ.I've had a horid xp of losing out money even though i knew my stuff.Can a certification exam validate my worth?

no offense , but this is not a place for advice .Whoever gives 2 S****s about paper certs.There are people who cant afford to take the exam if they fail.So to be reckoned or a step above a certified guy will always be prefered over the other without credentials.If you have taken the exam and know the reliability of the brain dump then go ahead and give us your testimony.We dont want probabilities.

For people that are relying on dumps such as this one to pass the exam, Good Luck! You also need job skills for vulnerability testing and penetration testing for this exam. This dump may help you pass the exam and look good on a resume, but a good hiring manager will weed out the pretenders. A paper cert will not get you the job in IT like it once did if the hiring manager knows what they are doing and most do. This dump is probably 40-60% valid depending upon the size of the question bank.

Yes, they require 2 years experience. A letter from your employer is sufficient confirming your history in the industry. But I have also heard that you can write to ECCounsil stating your past experience how you have worked in the field may be sufficient as well. I'm in the same boat, gathering my info as of yesterday.

Kei what you read is correct. To take the 312-50 you have to take the training course through a training vendor. You can self-study and send the CEH Application to ECCouncil to get the registration voucher. The exams are the same. Both exams are computer-based.

From reading the ECCounsil website, 312-50 is the same as ECO-50. Only difference is how you approach in your study (self-study or take a training course). Can anyone verify if what I read is correct? Again, be let us know if this is valid as of today. Will be studying for this exam. Thanks.
